Rumors can easily spread on the microblogging service Twitter in the form of retweets, which are tweets that a user has forwarded to his/her followers. This study investigated the social network characteristics of Twitter users who retweeted rumors concerning the Great East Japan Earthquake. We targeted not only the users who spread the rumor that was delivered to their timeline but also those who did not retweet the rumor. Moreover, we investigated each personal network of the user and his/her followings and followers on Twitter, including the set of connections between them. Consequently, we found that the users who spread the rumors are characterized by lower centrality (lower degree and betweenness) and lower reciprocity (fewer mutual follow relationships).

2017年度は、2009年・2013年に実施した先行調査データの再分析を行うとともに、本研究の目的を果たすために必須となる全国調査を実施した。再分析の成果の一つとして、たとえば社会的問題として取り上げられる「嫌韓」という現象に関する分析結果として、以下のことが明らかとなった。まず2009年から2013年の4年間に韓国への好感度は低下し、韓国人への排外性も強まっていた。また2013年では、嫌韓感情に対する愛国主義の影響力が強まり、対韓国・韓国人への態度はより「ナショナリズム化」しているといえる状態になっていた。対中国・中国人感情の悪化も同様の傾向を示したことから、2010年代からの日本の排外主義の高まりの原因の一つとして、地政学的なコンフリクト(竹島・尖閣問題など)の影響が大きいと考えられるまた2017年度の全国調査については、日本全国の有権者(18歳以上80歳未満)を対象とし、70市区町の選挙人名簿から無作為に抽出した10,500名に調査票を送付した(郵送配布・回収)。また本年度調査では、沖縄と他地域との比較を重視したため、上記の70市区町村の内10市町は沖縄県に割り当て、合計1,500名の沖縄県民に調査票を送付した。その結果、全国調査については3822票(転居先不明の方など調査不能を除いた回収率は44.5%)、沖縄調査については504票(転居先不明の方など調査不能を除いた回収率は34.4%)を回収した。回収表の入力作業と基礎的なクリーニング作業は終了しており、対象者向けの速報版調査報告書を作成し、その内容はインターネットを通じて公開済みである。加えて2013年調査で取得したデータについては、日本最大のデータアーカイブであるSSJDAに寄託し、公開済みである。そのことから、本継続調査に類似した関心を持つ幅広い研究者と共有可能なデータを作成できた、と考えている。

Shiitake mushrooms are edible mushrooms popular in East Asian cuisine. We herein report a 69-year-old man with abdominal distension and vomiting after ingesting several pieces of sautéed Shiitake mushrooms. Abdominal computed tomography (CT) revealed ring-shaped and crescent-shaped low-density objects (−100 to −300 Hounsfield units) in the ileum. Based on the specific shapes and CT numbers of the foreign bodies, he was diagnosed with small bowel obstruction due to Shiitake mushrooms. After conservative treatment, he passed four pieces of Shiitake mushrooms. Despite the rarity, the condition can be diagnosed before exploratory surgery by careful and detailed interpretation of CT findings.

The purpose of this study is to use the travel photo method (TPM) to reveal the kinds of tourist attractions that cause travelers to be attracted to tourist destinations. In the investigation, we obtained the cooperation of 75 travelers. As a result of analyzing 742 supplied photographs, European and American travelers assessed the attractiveness of Nara through the subjects of temple and shrine architecture, modern architecture, statues of Buddha, and Japanese homes, while Asian tourists did so through subjects such as food and shops, lanterns, and torii (gateways to Shinto shrines). Among the Japanese travelers, the group who had visited many times assessed the attractiveness of Nara through the subjects of stone ruins and flora, while the group who had visited fewer times did so through the subjects of fellow travelers, temple and shrine architecture, and deer. Further, the results showed that travelers’ tourism experiences in Nara can be broadly divided into three types. Based on these, we considered the practical significance of assessments of the attractiveness of tourist destinations using TPM.

症例は70代女性。来院2日前からの嘔気嘔吐を主訴に当院救急外来を受診した。炎症反応の軽度上昇と腹部造影CT検査にて少量の腹水,腸閉塞,回腸に隆起性病変を伴う腸重積と思われる所見を認めた。血流障害を伴う小腸腫瘍による腸重積と診断し,同日腹腔鏡下イレウス解除術を施行した。回盲部より約40cmの漿膜面に充血を伴った小腸腫瘍と考えられる部位を認めたが,重積,重積の跡は認めなかった。病変部位を臍部創より体外に出し,腫瘍を露出しないように小腸部分切除術を施行した。術後に小腸を切開したところ,内部より椎茸が検出された。術後経過は良好であり,術後14日目に退院した。 小腸腫瘍に伴う腸重積と術前診断したが,結果的に食餌性イレウスであった症例であり,鑑別診断を考えるうえで有用であると思われたので報告する。

This study clarifies the actual situation of community cat activities in Kobe City. The purpose of this study is to provide helpful examples of activists and those who want to start their activities and to consider how to deal with regional issues. The results of the survey revealed that the activity methods were devised according to the characteristics of each region. What is important is that it is necessary for local residents and local governments to actively know the actual situation and current situation of activities, and then consider that local residents and local governments can cooperate with activists.
