市販のディーゼル機関搭載トラクタを改造して電気トラクタを試作し, そのエネルギー消費量とけん引性能について実験的解析を行った。供試した密閉式鉛蓄電池の容量を7.2kW・hとしたとき, エネルギー消費量と一回充電走行可能距離はそれぞれ0.60kW・h/kmと8.35kmであった。その結果に基づいて, 実用化に向けた一回充電走行可能距離の改善策について検討した。けん引性能は, アスファルト路面において滑り率14%で5.76kN, 堅硬地において滑り率22%で3.89kNとなり, 実用性に耐えうる性能を発揮するものと推察できた。総合エネルギー伝達効率についても, 予測値に近い水準値を示すことが分かった。

The paper addresses a scheme of lightly supervised training of an acoustic model, which exploits a large amount of data with closed caption texts but not faithful transcripts. In the proposed scheme, a sequence of the closed caption text and that of the ASR hypothesis by the baseline system are aligned. Then, a set of dedicated classifiers is designed and trained to select the correct one among them or reject both. It is demonstrated that the classifiers can effectively filter the usable data for acoustic model training. The scheme realizes automatic training of the acoustic model with an increased amount of data. A significant improvement in the ASR accuracy is achieved from the baseline system and also in comparison with the conventional method of lightly supervised training based on simple matching.

The uniformity of deposition thickness in electroplating processes is vital to the realization of desirable surface qualities of many products. The thickness distribution of deposits varies according to numerous factors, such as the arrangement and shapes of auxiliary cathodes, anodes and shields, and the detailed configuration of the plating process. In recent years, computer analyses such as the Finite Element Method (FEM) have become widespread. Such analytical tools can predict thickness distributions, search for optimal process configurations, and avoid production problems, to some extent, but the selection of the most effective analytical conditions still depends on skilled analysts. This study presents a topology optimization method to achieve uniform deposition thickness, applied to the design of the shields placed in an electroplating bath. The proposed method uses level set boundary expressions and the FEM to analyze the electrochemical field. The Kreisselmeier-Steinhauser (KS) function for the current density distribution on a cathode is employed as an objective function, since current density is nearly proportional to the thickness of the resulting electroplating. The magnitude of the current density on the cathode is set as a constraint so that it does not fall below a certain value, to avoid lengthy plating times that would occur if the current density were too low. Numerical examples are presented to confirm the utility of the proposed method and the results demonstrate that the proposed method can obtain appropriate shapes and arrangements of shields.

Tanizaki is well known in the world mainly as the author of "The Makioka Sisters" (Sasameyuki, 1943-48, tr. 1957) in Edward G. Seidensticker's translation, and Howard Hibbet's "Diary of a Mad Old Man"( Fūten rōjin nikki, 1961-62, tr. 1969). In the last decade Anthony H. Chambers, "Naomi" (Chijin no ai, 1925, tr. 1985) and "The Secret History of the Lord of Musashi" (Bushōkō hiwa, 1932, tr. 1982) and Paul McCarthy's "A Cat, a Man, and Two Women" (Neko to Shozo to futari no onna, 1936, tr. 1990) and “Childhood Years, A Memoir” (Yōshō Jidai, 1955-56, tr. 1988) have enriched world literature.The bizarre novel "Bushūkō hiwa" is comparatively less acclaimed, but in which the writer's main features stand out in relief admirably well.The hero in "Bushūkō hiwa" is characterized in principle as a paragon of the samurai' ethos and his fate also was typical of that of the Japanese warrior aristocracy in the Sengoku age of civil war. "Bushūkō hiwa", though different from "Ashikari" and "Shunkinshō" in that its leading character is male, in a story, nevertheless, the main events are caused by women.Kaname (“Tade kuu mushi”) , Sasuke, Shunkin (“Shunkinshō"). O'yu ("Ashikari”), Yaichi and Oichi (“Mōmoku monogatari”), as they appear in Tanizaki's novels, hold no concepts such as race, nation, native country or faith. The concepts that extend beyond the individual have no decisive influence on their thought or behaviour. Only cultural and aesthetic inducements and inmost impulse move them. A combination of these two factors is depicted most vividly in "Bushūkō hiwa", especially in a scene where a beautiful young woman is purifying a severed head with the hero looking on. The decisive and absolute factor for the hero, that is aesthetics, will be discussed in the paper.

Many concrete and steel structures near shoreline are damaged severely by generated salt spray from sea surface. To reduce the transportation of salt spray near shoreline is effective method of prevention of salt damage. In this study, to discuss the effect of the structure on the reduction of salt spray concentration, experiments of transportation of salt spray were carried out. The wind velocity and the distribution of salt spray concentration around the permeable structures were measured in the wind tunnel. In this result, the structure that set up filters can effectively reduce the transportation of salt spray concentration, the experiment data showed that the decrease of salt spray concentration is influenced from the salt amount of adhesion of structures.
