This paper presents the results of a study on the pressure drop and the film boiling heat transfer for a two-phase flow of hydrogen in a horizontal tube.Experiments were made on two types of tube; two pieces of vacuum insulated straight tubes of 4m long, inside diameters of which are 18.4 and 23.9mm, respectively; Anuninsulated tube of 8m long with 90 degree bends at two locations, inside diameter of which is 12.3mm.Experimental conditions were as follows; Flow rate (l/min.); 5 to 50 Vapor quality; 0.01 to 0.90 Pressure (bar); 1.4 to 5.8 Conclusions obtained from the experiments are summarized below.1) The frictional pressure drop of two-phase flow of hydrogen for a straight tube is well related to a modified Lockhart-Martinelli (L-M) curve, that is, L-M pressure ratio parameter, φl multiplied by 0.8, for both adiabatic and diabatic conditions. More than 90% of data fell within the scatter band of ±20% from the modified L-M curve.The pressure drop for a bend was also correlated by using parameters analogically introduced from L-M parameters for a straight tube.2) As for the heat transfer by forced-convection film boiling, the following relationship was established based on the method proposed by Ellerbrock.(Nuf/Nufm)⋅Bo-0.4=9.46Xtt-0.131More than 90% of data obtained were in agreement with the the expression shown above with no more than ±20% error.In this study, it was known that the heat transfer for two-phase flow of nitrogen as well as hydrogen follow Ellerbrock's theory.

As the number of new malware has increased explosively, traditional malware detection approaches based on pattern matching have been less effective. Therefore, it is important to develop a detection method which relies on not signatures but characteristic behaviors of malware. Recently, malware authors have been embedding functions for countermeasure against malware analyses and detections into malware. Accordingly, modern malware often changes their runtime behaviors in each execution to tolerate against malware analyses and detections. For example, when malware copies itself on a file system, it can randomly determine its file name for avoiding the detections. Another example is that when malware tries to connect its command and control server, it randomly chooses a domain name from a hard-coded domain name list to avoid being blocked by a static blacklist of malicious domain names. We assume that such evasive behaviors are unnecessary for benign software. Therefore the behaviors can be the clues to distinguish malware from benign software. In this paper, we propose a novel behavior-based malware detection method which focuses attention on such characteristics. Our proposed method conducts dynamic analysis on an executable file multiple times in same sandbox environment so as to obtain plural lists of API call sequences and plural traffic logs, and then compares the lists and the logs to find the difference between the multiple executions. In the experiments with 5,697 malware samples and 819 benign software samples, we can detect about 70% malware samples and the false positive rate is about 1%. In addition, we can detect about 50% malware samples which were not detected by each Anti-Virus Software engine. Therefore we confirm the possibility the proposed method may be able to improve the accuracy of malware detection utilizing in combination with other existing methods.

我が国における山岳遭難事故者は,1994年より増加し始めて以来,右肩上がりに増加し続け,2003年には1666人にまで達した. この増加の背景には中高年の登山ブームがあると言われている. 事故の全体的な傾向については警察庁の事故統計以外は分からず,加えて本調査データの大部分は公表されないため,事故者数の増加に関する分析ができない現状にある. そこで,三団体(日本山岳協会,日本勤労者山岳連盟,東京都山岳連盟) の山岳遭難保険請求時に事故調査を行い,2002年よりデータベースを作成した. その内容は事故者の基礎情報(体力,経験),計画・装備,事故発生時と発生前後に関して約150に及ぶ項目から構成される. 警察庁データと併せて,山岳遭難事故の実体,原因,発生のメカニズム等について言及し,知見を得たので報告する.The number of mountaineering accidents in Japan has increased continuously from 1994 to 2003. However, the increasing mechanism of the accidents has not been analyzed still now, because there are no detailed mountaineering accidents data in Japan except for simple and small data acquired by National Police Agency. To construct mountaineering accidents database, questionnaires to the member of Alpine clubs who had accidents in the mountains were done. The contents consists of 5 blocks; (1) Outline of accident, (2) Basic ability and Planning (3) Physical condition before accident, (4) Causal factors in the accident, (5) Injured condition before rescue arrives. This database helped to understand what kind of mountaineering accidents happen in Japan. This paper showed the mechanism of accidents and classified the type of mountaineering accidents to devise a countermeasure.

捕食者であるアクキガイ類を, イガイ科二枚貝ヒバリガイモドキが足糸で捕捉する行動について, 野外及び室内実験で調べた。ヒバリガイモドキのベッド上にいたアクキガイ類の108個体中10個体に足糸が付着しており, 足糸の付着とともに腹足が仰向けのアクキガイ類は, 少なくとも30時間はそのままの状態であった。室内で観察されたヒバリガイモドキの巻貝に対する足糸付着行動は, ムラサキイガイ等での過去の報告と類似した特徴を持っており, 足糸を用いて巻貝を捕捉する能力をヒバリガイモドキも有しているとみられる。この行動は今までイガイ亜科の3種で知られるのみで, ヒバリガイ亜科の種では本報告が初めてである。足糸による捕捉という対捕食者防衛行動は, イガイ科の多くの種に共通する戦略なのかもしれない。
