宝暦飢饉 (1755年) とその前後における夏期の気候の復元を行なった。古日記中の天候記録の広域的な分布を使って天候の推移を調べるとともに, 現在の観測資料を用いて導き出した天気分布型の出現数と気温および気圧配置型との関係を宝暦期に適用して気温および気圧配置型の推定を行なった。その結果, 以下の諸点が明らかとなった。1) 解析を行なった1751-60年は, 1755年に代表されるような冷夏・長雨という特定の気候状態だけが卓越していたわけではない。2) 1755年7月は関東以南が降雨域におおわれ, 東北地方東岸は「やませ」が吹き, 第1種型の冷夏と考えられる。3) 1755年7月の盛岡, 石巻における平均気温は1951-80年の平均気温よりも約3℃低温であった。4) 気圧配置出現率を算定したところ, 1755年7月は夏型が少なく停滞性の前線が日本列島の南岸にかかる型が多く, また, 同年8月は停滞性の前線が東北地方を横断する型が多かった。

本研究では,歴史時代の水文・気候環境を復元する資料としての古日記天気記録の利用可能性を検証するため,気象台による観測開始以降の明治・大正期に書かれた古日記を用い,日記天気記録と気象観測データとの関係を分析した.京都とその周辺地域で書かれた8つの古日記から天気記録を収集し,日単位の降水量・雲量のデータと照合したところ,各天気種別に対応する観測値の分布は,日単位で見れば非常に広い範囲にばらつくが,長期間の平均値は異なる日記間で互いに近い値をとることが分かった.このことは,日記天気記録は日単位では非常に誤差が大きいが,月単位や季節単位といった期間積算値を用いることで客観性が高まり,降水量等の定量値を推定できる可能性が高くなることを示唆している.さらに,これらの解析結果を応用して,観測時代について歴史時代と同じ方法で日々の天気から入出梅日を推定することにより,過去約240年間にわたる時間的に均質な入出梅日のデータを作成し,梅雨期間の長期変動を分析した.結果は,20世紀が過去に見られないような梅雨期間の長期化した時期であったことなど,過去の研究でも指摘されていたことを再確認するものであった.

本論文では,イスラム諸国における美術教育の包括的な特色と傾向について,特にイスラムという宗教との関連性に焦点を当てて明らかにした。イスラムを文化的基盤とする世界では,人物・動物表現が忌避されるなど美術表現に関してある種のタブーが存在することが知られているが,イスラムを国教とする敬虔な国々であっても,美術教育に相当する教科は存在している。それらの教科は概して,子どもの自己表現を重んじる近代美術教育の流れを汲むものであり,イスラムに関連する表現を学ぶような例は皆無である。しかし,多くのイスラム諸国において,人物・動物表現に対する是非や個人主義的な美術表現への疑問といった,イスラムと美術教育とのデリケートな問題が生じていることが明らかとなり,ムスリムの子どもに適した美術教育の必要性が考察された。

48歳男.15歳時に夜尿症で受診し,矮小陰茎,精巣短縮を指摘され,40歳頃両下腿潰瘍を生じ,右足背・右内果潰瘍が治癒しないため受診,外性器萎縮と再発潰瘍で入院した.体毛は非常に薄くターナーの分類恥毛PH3,陰茎G3に相当し,残存する左精巣容量は1mlであった.X線で両側第5中手骨短縮を認めたが,その他の異常は認めなかった.潰瘍瘢痕は両下腿広範にみられ前立腺は正常大であった.内分泌学的検査では血中テストステロン異常低値,血中FSH・LH異常高値を認め精液検査では精液量0.5以下,精子数0であった.hCG負荷試験で血中テストステロンの若干の増加を認めたが正常域に達せず低値であった.末梢血によるGバンド染色体分析で48XXYYを示しクラインフェルター症候群であった.48XXYYクラインフェルター症候群は我が国24例目,下腿潰瘍合併では5例目であった

Seventy percent of the lower boundary of the atmosphere is contact with sea surface where heat and water vapor are supplied to the atmosphere. On the other hand, the wind stress at the sea surface induces the wind-driven circulation inside of the oceans which transports and mixes heat inside of the oceans. The variation of sea surface temperature are caused by both the atmospheric and oceanic processes. These features imply that the atmosphere and the oceans are a coupled system which is the basis of the Earth environment. This overview shows how the oceans give various influences to the atmospheric processes.

The effect of a novel compound, 3-isobutyryl-2-isopropylpyrazolo [1, 5-a] pyridine (ibudilast, KC-404), on human platelet aggregation and its mechanism of action were investigated.In vitro, KC-404 inhibited human platelet aggregation induced by ADP, collagen, adrenalin, platelet activating factor and arachidonic acid but not by ristocetin. Together, KC-404 and agents which increased cAMP (prostaglandin I2, prostaglandin E1 (PGE1), forskolin) or cGMP (3-morpholinosydnonimine (SIN-1)) produced synergistic inhibitory effects on platelet aggregation.KC-404 inhibited human platelet cAMP phosphodiesterase (PDE) (IC50: 50μM) and cGMP-PDE (IC50: 5.2μM) activities. cAMP and cGMP concentration of human platelets were not increased by KC-404 itself. PGE1, an adenylate cyclase stimulator, increased cAMP content; KC-404 enhanced the effect of PGE1 on cAMP accumulation. SIN-1, which stimulates guanylate cyclase, increased cGMP content; KC-404 enhanced the effect of SIN-1 on cGMP accumulation.These results suggest that effects of KC-404 on accumulation of cyclic nucleotides and inhibition of platelet aggregation are mediated via inhibition of platelet cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterase activities.

This paper attempts the relationship between the Subject and Community in France in the 1930's. It also looks at the uniqueness of this decade in the rise not only of Fascism, but also Marxism, Surrealism and New Education. Most studies have proposed that theories of community focus on improving old community systems into newer and better ones. However, George Bataille (1897-1962) critically analyzed the normal community theories of the 1930's, suggesting that they were simply a means for reproducing the same type of community in the sense that all of them needed a certain core to maintain their order. It seemed to him that they were based on cannons and norms determined by reason. Bataille provided an abnormal system, which was called "Acephale", for thinking outside of the norms. The French word Acephale means "the headless man". The "head" is the symbol of the leader in a community, and therefore it also indicates reason. In Bataille's Acephale-community, there are no cannons or norms. All members of the community become as the Subject, who is totaly free from the logic of systems. In this paper, I conclude that an understanding of Bataille's theory of community should not focus on its functional aspect, but on the dynamic process of becoming of the Subject.

SoftEther VPN Serverはマルチプロトコル対応のクロスプラットフォームなオープンソースVPNサーバソフトウェアであり,既存のVPNサーバプログラムにない2つの特徴がある.1つ目は,単一VPNサーバインスタンスで複数のVPNプロトコルをサポートしている点にある.管理者は,複数のVPNプロトコルによる多種類のVPNデバイスからのリモートアクセスおよび拠点間接続を受付けるVPNサーバを容易に管理することができる.そのために,SoftEther VPN Server内にL2アダプタと呼ばれるモジュールを実装し,レイヤ2 VPNプロトコルとレイヤ3 VPNプロトコルとの間の通信を,共通のバスである仮想L2スイッチを経由させ,シームレスに実現にした.2つ目は,ユーザ管理やネットワークの機能を仮想化するマルチテナント機能である.これは,仮想ホスティングサービスのために必須である.本プログラムは複数のOS間の移植性を有する.本プログラムは2013年3月から2014年9月までの間に,世界中で242,000回インストールされた実績を有する.また,異なるVPNプロトコル間での通信速度実験では,従来のVPNプロトコルのネイティブなVPNサーバプログラムを組み合わせて用いた場合と比較して高速な結果が得られた.

筆者はアジア地域研究連携機構研究紀要の第1 号(2015 年6 月)に「秋田犬の国際化戦略」、同3 号(2016 年8 月)に「秋田犬ブランドの活用策」、同6 号(2018 年1 月)に「秋田犬の国際的人気をどう活用するか」と題して、秋田犬が世界的に人気を集めていること、海外の人気が国内にブーメラン効果をもたらしていることを紹介した。その後の2018 年5 月、平昌冬季五輪の女子フィギュアスケート金メダリスト、アリーナ・ザギトワさん(ロシア)への秋田犬保存会による秋田犬贈呈が大きな話題になり、秋田犬人気を爆発的に高めた。秋田県や大館市は秋田犬をキラーコンテンツとして観光客誘致戦略を展開しており、内外からの県への訪問者も増加、秋田犬グッズの売り上げも伸びた。秋田犬の聖地を売り物にする大館市が2019 年5 月にJR大館駅前にオープンする観光交流施設「秋田犬の里」のプロジェクトをどう成功させるかが次の課題となるが、問題点も少なくない。過去1、2 年で空前ともいえるほど拡大した内外の秋田犬人気や、県と大館市の取り組みを分析した。

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare has published the Manual of Antimicrobial Stewardship (1st edition) in June 2017 to improve the prescribing practice of antimicrobials for immunocompetent adult and pediatric (both school-aged and older children) patients. Due to the increasing demand for further promoting outpatient antimicrobial stewardship, we conducted a literature and national guideline review to identify the area of need. The results of our review revealed a high antimicrobial prescription rate in the Japanese pediatric population. Furthermore, although the Japanese clinical guidelines/guidance covered the fields of almost all infectious diseases, no system exists to estimate the incidence and treatment patterns of important infectious diseases such as asymptomatic bacteriuria, skin and soft tissue infections, and dental practices in Japan. Therefore, addressing the issues of both establishing surveillance systems and the implementation of guidelines/guidance can be the next step to promote further outpatient antimicrobial stewardship.
