時速500kmの超高速鉄道の列車走行に伴い,トンネル内にはトンネル突入波,退出波,これらの坑口での反射波,さらにはトンネル横坑等で分岐した圧力波や列車通過による圧力低下などが生じる.トンネル覆工構造の疲労を検討するためには,これら圧力波および圧力低下などの変動を場所ごとに合理的に予測することが求められる.本論文では,トンネル内の圧力時間変化の算出に特性曲線法による一次元数値解析を適用し,山梨実験線の計測データと比較検証した.さらに,営業線で想定される複雑な列車運行に対して一次元数値解析を実施し,求められたトンネル内圧力変動をもとにトンネル覆工コンクリートに作用する応力変動を算定し,レインフロー法で覆工構造の疲労安全性を評価した.

第18回気候変動枠組条約締約国会議(COP18)は2012年末に開催され、2020年から新たな枠組みを開始することが合意された。次期枠組みでは途上国の参加が鍵となるが、途上国の削減行動の実効性を高めるために導入されたのがMRV(測定・報告・検証)制度である。MRV制度については2007年から検討されてきたが、具体的な実施方法は未定である。本稿では、MRV制度の検討にはP2M理論によるアプローチが適していると考え、3Sモデルを適用しMRV制度の実行スキームモデルの構築を行った。具体的には、民間主導により世界で広く実施され、MRV制度と共通の構造(PDCAサイクル)を持つISO認証制度を利用することで、途上国にも受け入れが容易でかつ実効性の高い国際枠組み(ISO-MRV)の構築を試みた。

The motion of a liquid pouring from a beverage can is experimentally and numerically studied. First, we measure pouring motion for sixteen examinees and find that the can motion in pouring consists of three stages; tipping stage, filling stage, and returning stage. In each stage, the angular velocity of a can is nearly constant, and its average velocity is obtained. A liquid flow from a can rotating at the average angular velocity is visualized with high-speed cameras and is also numerically simulated with the Volume of Fluid (VOF) method. At the beginning of pouring, the liquid from a can opening is once blocked by the rim of a upper lid and then flows over the rim. It falls from the can forming a V-shaped surface, which converges few centimeters below the rim expanding the liquid surface in the direction perpendicular to the V-shaped surface. This results in a wavy pattern of the liquid surface. The computational result agrees with the experiment.

豊臣秀吉による2度の朝鮮出兵(文禄・慶長の役,壬辰倭乱)に際して,朝鮮半島南部の海域で朝鮮水軍を率いて数々の勝利を挙げた李舜臣は韓国及び日本において人気の高い武将である。しかし,彼が海戦の勝利によって「制海権を保持した」とか,「日本軍の補給路を断った」とまで記述されているのは大げさであるように思える。本稿では史料・文献を精査したところ,日本の陸上軍が首都・漢城へ,さらに逃げる朝鮮国王一行を追って平壌へと進撃するのに合わせて日本水軍は海上を進み朝鮮西海岸を北上して,陸軍への補給をするという「水陸併進策」があったと多くの著作で主張されるが,それが真実かどうか,が重要であるようにみえた。李舜臣は一回目の侵攻(文禄の役)で日本水軍を閑山島海戦等で破り,この水陸併進策を挫き,2度目の侵攻(慶長の役)では鳴梁海戦でやはり水陸併進策を挫いたとみなされているようである。本稿ではこの水陸併進策について疑義を呈し,史料・文献を精査して考察を行った。

日本EPI協議会のワーキング活動において,IPランドスケープをテーマに,知財関連の解析手法について研究を行った。テーマとしては炊飯器を題材に,3チームに分かれ,それぞれが異なる炊飯器メーカーを担当した。国内市場をターゲットに分析を行い,市場におけるポジションの確認や,事業戦略,経営層への提言を検討した。各チームでまずは市場における外部要因を確認し,ベンチマークを行った上で,SWOT分析,ファイブフォース分析,ポジショニング分析,特許分析,テキストマイニング,ワードクラウド等の手法を駆使し,それぞれの結論へと導いた。本稿では,研究活動を通して得られた分析手法の知見を紹介する。

伊豆大島住民のうち15歳以上の4673名を対象としてスギ花粉症のアンケート調査を行ったところ回収率は22.3%であり, 春先 (2月中旬から3月中旬) に鼻症状を有する例は8.9%, 眼症状例は5.7%, 皮膚症状例は8.1%であった. 有症状例に行ったスクラッチテストで13.8%の例がスギ抗原陽性であり, IgE RAST score 2以上の例は33.3%であった. 平成2年2月から4月までの最高スギ花粉飛散数は北部診療所で3月7日に118個/cm^2, 南部診療所では2月28日に271個/cm^2であった. 全住民に対するスギ花粉症患者を推定すべく再度アンケート調査を行ったところ (回収率53.1%) 鼻症状3項目以上と眼症状2項目とを同時に有する例は4.7%であり, 未回答者のうちランダムに選んだ100名に対する電話での調査結果と合わせて頻度を検討すると, 全住民のうち5.64%にスギ花粉症を疑わせる例が見出された.

横山松三郎先生古稀記念論文集The study was designed to test what is the effect of criterion of learning on extinction of responding in successive operant discrimination. The method used in this experiment was similar to that of my previous study. Six pigeons were trained for pecking at a monochromatic light as the positive stimulus and an achromatic light as the negative one. the criterion of learning set up at 100 per cent correct response with no errors for one session a day. After the criterion of training was reached, testing effect of learning was carried out under the extinction trials in one session similar to that of training trials. The rate of responding in extinction was compared to the number of errors per reinforcement in the last but one session and average number of errors per reinforcement over the entire learning session. It was found that the more respondent was the extinction, the more errorless was the acquisition in the last but one session, while no correlation was between the rate of responding in extinction and average number of errors over the entire learning session. This result suggests that total correct (or incorrect) responses in the last session or over the entire learning session are only one aspect of criterion of learning and the other aspect, the slope of learning curve at the point where training ceased, needs to be considered.

17世紀に厳しい鎖国政策を採っていた朝鮮にオランダの貿易船が漂着した。乗組員36人が抑留され,そのうち書記のヘンドリック・ハメルが朝鮮脱出後に勤務先のオランダ東インド会社に提出した報告書はオランダで出版(1669年)され,ヨーロッパに未知の国・朝鮮を知らせた。ヨーロッパ人の目から見た17世紀の朝鮮を記述した記録として貴重な資料となった(日本では『朝鮮幽囚記』,韓国では『ハメル漂流記』の書名で出版)。現在韓国ではハメルらが漂着した済州島南岸の地に記念碑,抑留生活を過ごした麗水市にハメル博物館,康津にハメル記念館が建って居る。また,一部の歴史教科書に登場している。本稿ではハメルらが朝鮮で過ごした生活の実像とハメルの報告書の記述内容から3つの問題を考察してみたい。

As drug information service (DI) in a dental hospital, we evaluated the efficacy and safety of three products of the drug delivery system (DDS) (Periocline®, Elyzole®, Perio Chip®) for treatment of periodontitis, using literature of clinical trials.Nine literature references (4 for Periocline®, 4 for Elyzole®, 1 for Perio Chip®) were obtained from a MEDLINE database search on the Internet.The clinical trial design of each reference was a randomized control trial, and three were double blind randomized control trials. The treatment period and examination period were different for each reference. Items of clinical examination included pocket depth (PD), bleeding on probing (BOP), attachment level (AL), plaque index (PI) ; of these, PD was used in all trials.As for the efficacy of products evaluated by improvement of PD, two references for Periocline®, and one for Periochnp®, showed statistically significant improvement, but two references for Elyzole®, indicated superior improvement of PD in the control group rather than the test group. Only five of the references discussed side effects, but they were mild, transit, local effects.

Pilot aptitude tests are used to select capable candidates. In particular, military aviation requires effective pilot aptitude tests because military pilots have to operate complex cutting-edge combat fighters in a rigorous environment. The pilot aptitude tests have developed since WWI (World War I), and have been refined over the decades. In most military pilot aptitude test batteries, paper-and-pencil and apparatus tests (electro-mechanical apparatus) have been used to evaluate cognitive abilities of candidates. Recently, as computer technology has become both cheaper and more efficient, some kinds of computer-based tests have been introduced into most countries. However, the computer-based test has not been implemented in the Japan Air Self-Defense Force yet. We reviewed many cumulative literatures about the pilot selection system and described the present situation and problems involved in improving the pilot selection system. This review article addressed the objective of pilot selection, cognitive and non-cognitive abilities that are important for pilots, the history of pilot selection, and the method for the development of pilot selection system.

This review summarizes many cumulative literatures about the pilot aptitude tests and describes the present situation and problems involved in development of the pilot aptitude test. This part of the review (Part 2) addresses the present and future of the pilot aptitude test in the United States Air Force and the Japan Air Self-defense Force (JASDF). In addition, we focus on the study of multitasking ability, development of new pilot aptitude test in the JASDF and applied possibility of the methods in neurocognitive science. We also discuss the future issues about pilot aptitude test. Throughout the review, the organization which uses the pilot aptitude test should evaluate the reliability and predictive validity of the test periodically and flexibly. Then the organization should consider the improvement plan by using the achievement of the advanced research.

本稿では,理工学部初年次生に対する情報教育において,オンデマンド型online講義をデザインした。講義毎の課題および講義期間終了後の授業アンケートを解析した結果,オンデマンド型online講義では課題達成能力,理解度,満足度の点で対面講義より評価が高かった。オンデマンド型online講義の特徴である反復学習により,理解度の向上が予想された。初年次生の知識の習得幅が大きい情報教育では,オンデマンド型online講義で知識を習得し,その後,対面講義や実習などによる知識の定着が効果的と想定された。

時速500km領域の超電導磁気浮上式鉄道では,列車走行に伴い急激な圧力変動がトンネル覆工に作用するが,バックアップブレーキである空力ブレーキを展開させた状態で走行した際の圧力変動の特性や最大値,そして,そのトンネル覆工への影響は明らかにされていない.本論文では,空力ブレーキ展開状態での列車走行に伴う圧力変動を山梨実験線での計測および,列車まわりの流れの3次元圧縮性流体解析結果から評価し,営業線のトンネル覆工に作用する最大正圧および,最大負圧を算定した.さらに,営業線トンネル覆工の応力解析を実施し,最大正圧および,最大負圧が作用した時の覆工構造の挙動を明らかにし,限界状態設計法により覆工構造の安全性を確認した.
