The idea of unbalanced load flow calculation was proposed many years ago. At that time, however, the needs for such techniques was not an urgent one. Modern power system networks are comprised of long untransposed transmission lines. Therefore, for some kinds of analysis, it is now almost impossible to treat a system as though it were a symmetrical network. The aims of most previous studies were oriented to solve voltage/current imbalance in local or small systems, as local imbalance was a serious concern. This is still an important issue, but more recently our needs have become concentrated on practical bulk power systems, since principal EHV lines are entirely untransposed. In this paper, the development of practical unbalanced load program and practical experience with it are reported. This program was developed for steady state analysis of large-scale practical networks under many possible unbalanced condition. The Newton-Raphson method in polar coordinates is used, since fast and moderate convergent characteristics are suitable for solving solutions. The program was applied to practical case studies. The models contain all of the 500 kV and most of the 275 kV overhead transmission lines in TEPCO. Since the density of the Jacobian matrix is higher than in single phase load flows, the number of non zero elements is extremely large. Convergent characteristics are excellent in all cases. The fear of numerical instability has been allayed.

On 6 types of Ni-Ti spreader (Roeko NiTi # 15; Roeko NiTi # 25; Roeko NiTi # 35; Roeko NiTi D11T; Brasseler Naviflex NT D11T; Brasseler Naviflex NT 4SP), dimensions were measured under digital microscope, and a load application test was performed in the axial direction of the spreader. The results were as follows: 1. In Roeko NiTi # 15, D₃ was 0.38 mm, D₁₆ was 0.61 mm, taper was 0.018, and tip angle was 28.9°. Similarly, the above values were 0.32 mm, 0.68 mm, 0.027, and 28.0° respectively in Roeko NiTi # 25. The values were 0.50 mm, 0.70 mm, 0.016, and 32.5° respectively in Roeko NiTi # 35, and the values were 0.37 mm, 0.88 mm, 0.039, and 10.6° respectively in Roeko NiTi D11T. The values were 0.27 mm, 0.77 mm, 0.038, and 29.9° respectively in Brasseler Naviflex NT D11T, and 0.30 mm, 1.06 mm, 0.059, and 35.9° respectively in Brasseler Naviflex NT 4SP. 2. When a load was applied in the axial direction of the spreader, the load was 0.56 kgf in case the portion of 16 mm in length from the tip in Roeko NiTi # 15 was bent at a stroke. When the portion of 5 mm in length from the tip was fixed and the portion of 11 mm in length from the tip was bent at a stroke, the load was 4.32 kgf. The above values were 1.13 kgf and 7.52 kgf respectively in Roeko NiTi # 25, 1.24 kgf and 8.58 kgf in Roeko NiTi # 35, 0.82 kgf and 10.28 kgf in Roeko NiTi D11T, 0.63 kgf and 7.27 kgf in Brasseler Naviflex NT D11t, and 1.02 kgf and 17.61 kgf in Brasseler Naviflex NT 4SP. 3. The Ni-Ti spreader has super-elasticity and is flexible. Thus, it is difficult to apply pressure on it in the axial direction, during lateral condensation. However, this study revealed that sudden bending may be avoided if at least the tip portion of 5 mm in length from the tip is inserted into the root canal.

e-Learningにおけるなりすまし防止手法として,顔認証における参照情報をe-Learning中に逐次更新する手法を開発した.評価実験より,入力情報と登録情報との類似度と,e-Learning中に発生するイベントによって更新の影響を調節することで,従来の方法よりも認証精度が向上する可能性が示唆された.

症例は84歳,女性.腹部手術の既往はなかった.突然出現した腹痛と嘔気を主訴に当院に来院した.腹部全体が膨隆し下腹部に圧痛を認めた.腹部単純X線で鏡面像を伴う拡張した小腸が認められ腸閉塞と診断された.腹膜刺激症状を認めなかったため,イレウス管を留置し精査を行った.イレウス管造影と注腸造影により,回盲部の尾側に両端に狭窄像を有する拡張した小腸係締を認めた.この拡張した小腸係締は腹部CT上では盲腸の背側に位置していたため,盲腸後窩ヘルニアを強く疑った.開腹すると回腸末端から口側約80cmの部位で約4cmの回腸係締が盲腸後窩に嵌頓していた.還納後,盲腸を後腹膜へ固定しヘルニア門を閉鎖した.盲腸後窩ヘルニアは比較的稀な疾患であり,術前診断は困難とされている.本例ではCTが術前診断に有用であり,消化管造影後に撮影したため盲腸周囲ヘルニアのタイプ診断も可能であった.

全国の木造の重伝建地区(国指定の町並み保存地区)は、地震火災による同時多発火災に弱い。しかし災害時に最も重要な役割を果たす住民が参加し、地区防災計画を定めた例は少数であった。このため、防災水利の整備事業の実施前、中、後、の段階別に地区を選定して住民ワークショップを実施し、図上防災訓練による想定と、発災対応型防災訓練による実践を試みた。得られた結果を総合することで、住民ワークショップの手法とその有効性を明らかにした。

本研究の目的は日本の「子ども」の特徴について比較文化の視点から検討することであり,特に非行と非行を抑制する要因について明らかにすることである。そのため非行許容性と恥意識,道徳意識の関係について検討する。この目的のため,日本とトルコの中学・高校生1488人を対象に調査を行った。調査結果は,日本の中高生はトルコの中高生と比較して,道徳意識が低く,非行的行為に対して許容的という傾向があった。非行許容性,虞犯許容性,犯罪許容性については,日本の中学女子は男子より許容的であった。道徳意識は,日本よりトルコ,高校生より中学生,男子より女子が高いと言うという傾向があった恥意識について,自律的恥意識と他律的恥意識は,概ねトルコが日本より高く,男子より女子,高校生より中学生が高い傾向があった。しかし,他者同調的恥意識は,男子より女子,高校生より中学生が高いという傾向は前2者と同様だが,他の恥意識とは異なり,トルコより日本が高かった。非行許容性を従属変数とした重回帰分析の結果は,日本の生徒では非行許容性は他律的恥意識によって説明され,また,他律的恥意識が強いほど非行を許容しないと考えられ,そして,道徳意識が強いほど非行を許容しないという関係である。しかし,トルコの中高生の非行許容性は道徳意識によって説明され,恥の意識とは関係が無いということが言える。これらのことより,非行許容性の背景となる個人の態度には文化差があると考えられる。そして,トルコの中高生では,恥の意識より,良い悪いという道徳意識が非行的行為と関係が深いと言える。他方,日本の中高生では,良い悪いという判断より,他者を意識した「恥」の意識がより重要である。しかし,日本の中高生は,他者同調的恥意識は強いが,非行許容性と関係の深い他律的恥意識はトルコに比べて弱いという問題が明らかとなった。

東京農工大学農学部付属広域都市圏フィールドサイエンス教育研究センター(FSセンター),FM大谷山(旧大谷山演習林),FM草木(旧草木演習林),FM唐沢山(旧唐沢山演習林),FM秩父(旧埼玉演習林)およびFM多摩丘陵(旧波丘地試験地)において,底生水生昆虫の種類と生息状況が2002年に調査された。その結果,61種の水生昆虫が,合計944頭捕獲され,標本として保管された。
