The Breast cancer 1, early onset gene (BRCA1) is known to be significantly associated with human familial breast cancer and is identified to play an important role in canine mammary tumors. Here, genetic variations in the coding region and DNA methylation in the 5′ flanking region of BRCA1 in canine mammary tumor samples, 15 each of benign and malignant against 10 normal canine mammary tissue samples, were analyzed using the direct sequencing method. The results indicated two point mutations each in the coding region of canine BRCA1 in one benign mammary tumor sample (4702G>T and 4765G>T) and in one malignant canine mammary tumor sample (3619A>G and 4006G>A). No mutations were detected in the normal canine mammary tissue samples. The 4702G>T mutation was found to terminate further translation. The physical effect of the 4765G>T mutation was found to be the repalacement of the glutamate residue with glutamine. The physical effect of the 3619A>G mutation was found to be the replacement of the threonine residue with alanine, and that of mutation 4006G>A was the replacement of the valine residue with isoleucine in the BRCA1 protein. Bisulfite sequencing detected methylated CpG sites in one canine malignant mammary tumor sample. In conclusion, the present study elucidated the mutational status of the BRCA1 coding region and methylation status of the 5′ flanking region of BRCA1 in canine mammary tumors.

Living as humans, we need to establish relationships with others, and it is not considered extraordinary that emotions and feeling of love would be caused in such relationships. Viewed in this light, we are required to recognize that the elderly has various ways of representing their emotions, and to secure their free expression of emotions in the elder assistance. Accordingly, care staff needs to understand emotions expressed by the elderly in an institution are caused by inner working of minds of persons concerned, and to consider the fact that their feeling of love gives various influence over the mind and reactions of the staff is the result of free self-expression of the elderly. Therefore, working out the assistance regarding the feeling of love mentioned above will enable us to avoid relationships with others which are apt to be unilateral in the institutional care, and will secure free self-expression of the elderly.

ネットワーク構造を持つデータには,ネットワーク内ノード同士のリンク以外に,異なるネットワークに属するノード同士のリンクがあり,このリンクの予測は重要なタスクである.このリンクを予測する手法として,ペアワイズ類似度を用いたリンク予測法が提案されている.本論文では,既存のペアワイズ類似度では用いていない,異種ネットワーク間リンクを用いた新たなペアワイズ類似度を提案し,予測精度を比較し良好な結果を得た

論文The purpose of this study is to clarify how they have promoted the traditional art performance, which is created in a city. For this purpose, I have selected one of the five Geisha Community of Kyoto known as Kamishichiken. By reviewing information on the history through interviews with hosts and guests, I analyzed the dance performance and the aspects of Geisha Community which were devoted to the culture of hospitality.Kamishichiken is small scale, self-enclosed but focused on quality of arts, and has a close relationship with Nishijin merchants in Kyoto. Mainly By this close relationship was with Nishijin, an excellent textile maker and primary patrons of these arts, after WW II in 1952 during the important festival of Kitano shrine, Kamishichiken disclosed the performances.It was an excellent opportunity for them to show their new arts. However, they had to develop new performances to suite the changing society.Their performances were created under the direction of a movie director, Tamizo Ishida (1901‒1972) with a respectable knowledge of dance performances, he worked out new plans. By caring not to spoil the traditional dance of the Hanayagi school,Ishida created continuous hybrid performances with another dance schools and with a new type of music.In this thesis, Iwill clarify how the hybrid performances opened to the new audiences and the difficulties in promoting these new performances in a changing society.

一眼レフディジタルカメラ用, APS-Cサイズ総画素数325万のCMOSイメージセンサを開発した。画素サイズは10.5μm^□で, 埋め込み型フォトダイオードと4つのトランジスタより構成した, 完全電荷転送構造を採用し, 列毎に設けたノイズ除去回路で画素リセットノイズと固定パターンノイズを低減した。0.35μmルールCMOSプロセスをセンサ向けに専用化したプロセスを用い, 暗電流密度60pA/cm^2(60℃), ランダムノイズ0.27mVrms, 消費電力250mWを達成した。

1) In southern part of Japan, the time of flowering of Artemisia princeps Pamp. is late september to early october. As the results of experiments the flowering was observed under short day (8 hours light), and did not under long day condition (continuous light). 2) Number of head per plant was 2,000〜14,000, and a head consisted of about 15〜17 florets. On the other hand, the rate of fructification of the florets was about 2〜40 per cent, averaged about 20 per cent. From the results, number of seeds per plant was about 5,000〜40,000. 3) About 20 days after flowering, the seeds had an ability of germination, and it reached maximum after about 50 days. This result showed that the seeds had no dormancy. From our observations, it seemed that the seeds germinate from late autumn to early winter and pass through winter season with cotyledonary plants. 4) Effect of temperature on germination of the seeds was as follows: minimum temperature O〜5℃, optimum temperature ; 20〜30℃, maximum temperature ; 35〜40℃. 5) The rate of emergence of cotyledonary plants war good under the soil of 10〜20 per cent soil moisture content, and it decreased with the increase of soil moisture content. However, the seeds were able to germinate in boiled water, and it grown up to 6 leaf stage under the water. 6) The rate of emergence was also affected by the depth of seeding, and it decreased with the increase of the depth of seeding. As the effect of soil compaction of cover soil after seeding, in the plot of 0.1kg/cm^3-compaction 30 per cent of seeds emerged at O. 5 cm-seeding depth and did not emerge at 1.0cm-seeding depth. In the plot of 0.2kg/cm^3-compaction no emergence occured even at the plot of 0.5cm-seeding depth.

(1) スギナの生態について調査した。<br>(2) 胞子の発芽試験を5月の室温で試みた。接種後7日目に一斉に発芽し, 43日後には栄養茎の発生がみられる。<br>(3) 地下茎の発根伸長は4月上旬より始まる。栄養茎の最も繁殖するのは地下30cm以内の地下茎からである。<br>(4) 栄養茎は一節さえあれば発根可能である。スギナの生育はNによつて左右される。pHは7前後がよかつた。発生深度は5~10cmがよい。土性は壌土がよかつたが, 土壌中の養分, pHなども関係すると考えられる。<br>(5) 地下茎の繁殖力は旺盛で, 1年で総重は33~37倍, 長さは165~182倍となる。<br>(6) スギナの防除は, 麦畑の場合, 跡作のない時はスギナ発生期から麦刈取り15日前の間に, a当りリニュロン 10g+2,4-D20g の混合液をスギナの草体に散布すればよい。間作や跡作に大豆, 陸稲がある場合は, 残効の問題から, スギナの発生最盛期頃に散布することが必要である。
