<p> 明治期の幼稚園草創期の「遊戯」は、伊澤修二の遊戯研究が端緒となり、フレーベルの思想を元にした指導書に準じる形をとって導入された。集団で唱歌と共に行われていたが、雅楽調で幼児の興味と一致していたとは言いがたい内容であったとされている。明治9年、初の官立幼稚園として設置された東京女子師範学校附属幼稚園では、保姆であった豊田芙雄の記録によれば、「家鳩 民草 水魚 猫鼠 盲ひ 還木 蝶々 此門 兄弟姉妹 風車」などの遊戯を行い、新案を考え、歌詞所作を工夫したとある。明治33年の「幼稚園保育及設備規程」には保育4項目の一つとして「遊嬉」が位置づけられたが、明治期後半の幼稚園「遊戯」は草創期以来の幼稚園「遊戯」に加え、小学校「体操遊戯」の影響も受け、混迷していたと考えられる。児童心理研究が始まり、大正期にかけて幼児の発達に即した内容に変化させようとする動きが見いだされる中、高島平三郎と松本孝次郎は共に、雑誌『児童研究』において「遊戯」に関する複数の論考を発表している。高島と松本の論考では発達という視点から「遊戯」を捉えており、幼児にふさわしい内容へと変化する流れの一端を担っていたと考えられた。</p>

Pentosan polysulfate (PPS) is a semi-synthetic sulfated polysaccharide compound which has been shown the benefits on therapeutic treatment for osteoarthritis (OA) and has been proposed as a disease modifying osteoarthritis drugs (DMOADs). This study investigated the effects of PPS on cell proliferation, particularly in cell cycle modulation and phenotype promotion of canine articular chondrocytes (AC). Canine AC were treated with PPS (0–80 µg/ml) for 24, 48 and 72 hr. The effect of PPS on cell viability, cell proliferation and cell cycle distribution were analyzed by MTT assay, DNA quantification and flow cytometry. Chondrocyte phenotype was analyzed by quantitative real-time PCR (qPCR) and glycosaminoglycan (GAG) quantification. PPS significantly reduced AC proliferation through cell cycle modulation particularly by maintaining a significantly higher proportion of chondrocytes in the G1 phase and a significantly lower proportion in the S phase of the cell cycle in a concentration- and time-dependent manner. While the proportion of chondrocytes in G1 phase corresponded with the significant downregulation of cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) 1 and 4. Furthermore, the study confirms that PPS promotes a chondrogenic phenotype of AC through significant upregulation of collagen type II (Col2A1) mRNA and GAG synthesis. The effect of PPS on the inhibition of chondrocyte proliferation while promoting a chondrocyte phenotype could be beneficial in the early stages of OA treatment, which transient increase in proliferative activity of chondrocytes with subsequent phenotypic shift and less productive in an essential component of extracellular matrix (ECM) is observed.

The rhizobial type III secretion system secretes effector proteins into host plant cells, which may either promote or inhibit symbiosis with legumes. We herein demonstrated that the type III secretion system of Bradyrhizobium sp. SUTN9-2 obstructed symbiosis with Lotus japonicus Miyakojima, L. japonicus Gifu, and Lotus burttii. A mutant of SUTN9-2 that is unable to secrete effector proteins showed better nodulation and plant growth promotion than wild-type SUTN9-2 when paired with these Lotus spp. We propose that SUTN9-2 is a useful strain for understanding the mechanisms by which effector proteins obstruct symbiosis between Bradyrhizobium and Lotus spp.

本稿は、日本占領時期に、主に慈善団体による学費支援の視点から、香港の教育がどのような状況であったのかを論じるものである。香港の日本占領時期の教育政策の多くは、戦乱で閉校していた既存の私立学校の再開を許可し、日本語教育を推進するというもので、一般の中国人子弟のための学校は国民教育の一環ではあったが、日本語教育の延長として捉えられていた。曹必宏も指摘しているように、現地のものが入学できる日本側の設立した教育機関は、警察官練習所である憲査教習所、官立東亜学院など「職業訓練学校」であった。香港占領地総督部は、教育管理には成功したが、学費免除生の財源を中国人に任せ、戦局が悪化する中、徐々に教育事業を停滞させた。

楽曲情報と情動値との関係を求めるために音楽の確率システム表現を考察した. まず, 区分的定常確率過程が連なって非定常過程となっている楽曲の階層的旋律モデルをつくり, 対数尤度比関数の傾きとDPマッチング法を用いてセグメンテーションを行った. 次に, 区分定常過程の旋律に対してARモデルを適用して得られた特徴量と, その楽曲の心理試聴実験により得られた情動値との関係を, 正準相関分析法を用いて求めた. AICを用いた最適モデル次数は, 4分音符単位で7個であり, 音楽合成の研究結果とほぼ一致した. また, 旋律と音程過程に対しスペクトル分析を行い, 情動値との関係を求めた結果,“安らぎ”と2分音符が深い関係にあることなどがわかった.

The purpose of this research throws new light upon a connection between research of the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education and research of mathematical communication based on these comparisons. The greatest feature of Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education is securing the opportunity of an argumentation to all the children. This is a foundation of the structural aspect of the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education as a group learning method. The foundation of this structural aspect has the feature of four more points. They are “a setup of two or more expert subjects”, “a setup of the integrative viewpoint of an argumentation”, “problem solving according to people two or more”, and “serious consideration of justification.” Two points are mentioned as a practical feature for a teacher to actually practice the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education. They are “support in an expert group”, and “ascertaining of group support.” As for these, both are concerned with momentary judgment within a lesson. This is the contents relevant to teacher education. In my general survey of the previous study of mathematical communication, it was arranged by four views which were aim of education, way of education, development of mathematical communication, and structure of mathematical communication. The research as aim of education was able to find out the common feature with the structural aspect of the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education. The research as way of education was able to point out the common feature with the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education about growth of the knowledge by an argumentation from the epistemological feature based on social constructivism. The research as development of mathematical communication pointed out that two points, a setup of the viewpoint of the integrative argumentation from the structural aspect and the practical feature, had a common feature. However, two points of the practical feature showed the necessity of making it concerned with a theory of teacher education. The research as the structure of mathematical communication pointed out that the epistemology in mathematics education is related with the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education. The next question of this research was pointed out four things. First of all, it is constructs the creation principle of the teaching materials that is based on the structural aspect of the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education. Secondly, it is constructs of the creation principle of the lesson that is based on the practical feature of the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education. Thirdly , the research on the relation of the practical feature of the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education and teacher education are needed to investigate. Finally, the new practice of the Jigsaw Method on Mathematics Education which utilized ICT are also needed to investigate.
