In this paper, we propose a heterogeneous hidden layer consisting of both sigmoid functions and RBFs (Radial Basis Functions) in multi-layered neural networks and present a method for implementing the neural network to control systems. Focusing on the orthogonal relationship between the sigmoid function and its derivative, a derived RBF that is a derivative of the sigmoid function is used as the RBF in the neural network, so the proposed neural network is called an ONN (Orthogonal Neural Network) and the function mapping with the ONN can be treated as a kind of an orthogonal function series model. Identification results using a nonlinear function confirm both the ONN's feasibility and characteristics by comparing with those obtained using a conventional neural network which has sigmoid function or RBF in hidden layer. Using the ONN, a parallel type neural controller, which uses both the ONN output and the conventional control output as an objective system control input, is proposed. Simulation results for discrete-time nonlinear SISO system demonstrate the applicability of the neural controller for controlling nonlinear systems and experimental results for controlling angular velocity of a DC servo motor demonstrate its usefulness for controlling practical systems.

There is a thick coal measure (360mm in thickness) underground in the area of Tafutou, Kaiping, Lansien, Hopei Province, in North China. The data of this paper are the result of the borring survey by the S. M. R. Co. Geological Survey Department in 1942. The coal measure was divided into 4 groups, consisting of the Upper, Middle, Lower, Lowermost group. Proceeding 2 ones belong to the lower permian Rothliegende Series, the next one to the Sakmarian stage, last one to the Moscovian stage. Each ones was correlated to the Schihotze series, the upper Yuemenkou series, the lower Yuemenkou series, and the Penchi series in North China. The lowermost Penchi series represents one cycle of the succesive sedimentation, and lacks the Uralian Stage on it. This fact does not mean the land surface denudation after the Uralian sedimentation, but the interruption of sedimentation during the quiet Uralian regression time. In this paper, the transmission characteristics of the spits excelled through coughing are examined in a calm environment. Three subject experiments were performed, and it shows that there are about 6.7mg spits expelled at a high speed up to 22m/s when coughing, and the spits can arrive further than 2m. Then the transmitting processes of the coughed spits of different diameters were analyzed using Lagrangian Equation. The results show that coughed spit's transmission process will be greatly influenced by the indoor airflow, and its transmission characteristics will change with its increase in size. The soils less than 30μm will be spread to the whole room by the airflow's movement, the spits between 50μm〜200μm will fall by gravity, and the spits greater than 300μm will become difficult to fall because of inertia. Moreover, it indicates that the couched spits probably cause droplet infection in close contacts of patients of infectious respiratory diseases.

ドイツ再統一以降に行われた航空輸送インフラストラクチャーの整備過程において、ミュンヘン空港における輸送能力の進展は著しく、ドイツのみならず、EU内においても同空港はその地位を高めてきた。連邦政府、州政府、ミュンヘン市が資本参加するミュンヘン空港有限会社は、1992年に新空港「フランツ・ヨゼフ・シュトラウス空港」を筆頭執行役員(当時)ヘルムゼンのもとで完成させ、ヨーロッパにおける代表的国際空港へと成長させた。この間、ルフトハンザ・ドイツ航空はミュンヘンをフランクフルト・アム・マインと並ぶハブ空港とする決定をし、2003年に創業を開始した空港第二ターミナルは、ルフトハンザ・ドイツ航空とミュンヘン空港有限会社の共同出資、共同経営によって実現した。

統計演習科目における授業改善点を、記述統計・推測統計に関する知識、データ分析スキルについての学生の自己評価、レポート課題、グループワーク報告書の評価、eラーニング確認テスト結果等より考察した。 学生の自己評価において、記述統計・推測統計の専門用語を理解している割合が、受講前と比べて全23項目で上昇したものの、有意水準1%もしくは5%で有意に上昇したのは10項目であっ た。データ分析のスキルについては、受講前と比べて「Excelを使った統計処理」の項目別操作スキルの全16項目中15項目が有意水準1%もしくは5%で有意に上昇した。 学生の自己評価、レポート課題の評価、グループワーク報告書の評価、eラーニング確認テスト結果等から、記述統計から推測統計への導入教育、テキストにおける推測統計の解説内容の改善の必要性、レポート課題、グループワーク、eラーニング確認テスト等の改善点を抽出した。
