はじめに次世代シークエンサー(NGS)の登場により,核酸を対象としたオーミクス解析は大きく発展した。このような網羅的な解析を個々の細胞に対して実施する試み,いわゆるシングルセル解析に関する報告数は,ここ数年で急増している。ゲノム,トランスクリプトームのシングルセル解析は,ライブラリーの自動調製装置が市販され,より多くの細胞を解析することが可能な環境が整っている。エピゲノムに関しては代表的なエピゲノム情報をシングルセルレベルで検出する技術が出そろった。本稿では,シングルセル解析を理解するための基本となるライブラリー調製に焦点をあてて概説する。

The anti-aircraft strategy operation room, which used to be a facility of the old Japanese army and still exists in the precincts of Rijo-Castle, is a structure exposed to radiation in 1945 when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. This structure has never been used since the end of World War II, and has become decrepit. No official documents of the structure remain, and the details of its present condition are not known well. These facilities were also investigated the current year following fiscal year 2015. (1) made a drawing of the anti-aircraft war room more in-depth than an investigation, (2) the interior where a crack around the ceiling of the approach structure in the anti-aircraft war room where was found newly was used,(3) the underground utility was checked around the anti-aircraft war room,(4) related literature search was performed, in fiscal year 2015 the current year. This structure was in Rijo-Castle, so all one which exists in Rijo-Castle couldn't change the current state for a historical site, so it was to investigate in the area which can be done by non-destruction.It's clear from an investigation that deterioration continues, and it's recommended that several ways will be taken for the preservation and some good use in the future. It'll be expected also to continue investigation activity from now on.

The anti-aircraft strategy operation room, which used to be a facility of the old Japanese army and still exists in the precincts of Rijo-Castle, is a structure exposed to radiation in 1945 when the atomic bomb was dropped on Hiroshima. This structure has never been used since the end of World War II, and has become decrepit. No official documents of the structure remain, and the details of its present condition are not known well.On the 70th anniversary of the end of the war, a survey was conducted, and the architectural style, materials, anti-aircraft efficiency, and soundness of the structure were investigated by researchers. As a result of the survey, it was found that the structure had been built in a semibasement so that it could bear air raid, and that it was made of reinforced concrete. Through the observations of the parts which researchers were able to enter, it was found that the floors, the walls, and the ceilings had been largely exfoliated, and some kind of rapid countermeasures seem necessary to prevent the further deterioration. At the same time, as a result of interviews with people who know of the situations 70 years ago, it has become known to some extent how the inner parts of the structure were used. Based upon these findings, an exhibition of the anti-aircraft strategy operation room was held from July to September in 2015.It is not appropriate to make large-scale changes of the structure, because it is a historic relic located in the precincts of Hiroshima Castle. However, it is clear from the survey that the deterioration is continuing, and, it is recommended that some measures should be taken for its preservation and some good use in the future.

The TV animation Sailor Moon,broadcast from 1992 to 1997,won an unusual popularity among the young female audience in Japan at that time. This study is an attempt to clarify an implicit message theanimation conveys to the audience under the disguise of a childish story of love, peace and justice by examining the underlying structure each episode of the animation has. A TV animation which repeats practically the same story every week is a very effective cultural apparatus but hasbeen seldom studied in detail. Each episode generally follows the pattern of a typical initiation story: the heroine undergoes a process of maturity through the experienceof symbolic death and rebirth. But the story at the same time cleverly escapes from such an interpretation. What is characteristic with the story is that the initiation process is definitely related to consumer behavior: endless pursuit of commercial goods. And in this sense the heroine never accomplishes the initiation and this incompleteness or failure in initiation indeed places Sailor Moon in a unique position in the lineage of popularlegends. We see many other examples of such incompleteness. The heroine's metamorphosis itself betrays this. For what she puts on after taking off her girlish clothes is, unlike a traditional heroine, a "sailor suit", the symbol of eternal girlishness which accompanies an implication of commercialized sexuality. In the last episode,the heroine discloses her naked body of a matured woman before she becomes the savior of the world. Seemingly she finally attains motherhood and succeeds in showing a role model to the young audience but only to turn out to be a false one. Forher final purpose remains to be to reproduce her duplicates: ideal consumersof the consumption society. It is at that moment that a "Girl" throws off the mask of "Lovely One" and exposes her true face of"Woman".

Studies of the effectiveness of compact size ultraviolet (UV) air disinfection system against airborne bacteria were conducted in patient rooms with 3.15m×5.0m, 3.8m ceiling. The air disinfection systems were activated 24 hrs per one day. Four points of air sampling of 8 ft3 in volume were performed every one week for 3 months. No limitations were applied to incoming/outgoing of patients and medical staffs.Mean colony count of airborne organisms of air samples with UV air disinfection systems off was 4.0±1.9 CFU/ft3, and reduced to 1.4±1.0 CFU/ft3 after UV air disinfection systems on. Rates of 65% reduction of microorganisms were observed under the condition with air disinfection systems activated (p<0.01). Under existence of patients with infected wound, mean colony count of organisms was still increased, from 2 to 10 times higher, after the treatment of wounds.

無水のアルコールはアルミニウムとアルコキシド反応を起こすことが知られている. しかし, 複数のアルコールが混在した場合の挙動は報告されていない. また, 微量の水の存在でアルコキシド反応を防止することが知られている. そこで筆者は (1) 共沸点近傍の混合アルコール溶液とアルミニウムの反応, (2) 混合アルコール溶液とアルミニウムとの反応を抑制する最低含水濃度の関係を調べることを目的とした. 353K, 373K, 393Kの各温度における72時間処理という条件で, 炭素数2~4のアルコールすなわちエタノール, ノルマルプロパノール, イソプロパノール, ノルマルブタノール, イソブタノールの5種類のアルコールを用い, 混合アルコール溶液50mlと純アルミニウム (JIS-A1085) 板片をSUS304製容器の中で反応させた. 試験の結果, 単体成分のアルコールに比べ混合アルコール溶液の場合, 反応温度が低下する傾向が見られた. また, 混合アルコール溶液の方が反応を抑制する最低含水濃度が高くなる傾向があることを発見した. これらの結果をアルコールの溶解現象の立場から考察を加え, 混合アルコール溶液中のアルコールクラスターのサイズ, 構造及び安定性が反応に大きく関与している可能性を示唆した.

インターネットがインフラとして普及しその仕組みを中学校段階でプログラミングを通して学ぶよう次期学習指導要領で求められている.そのため,その教育に将来携わる中学校技術・家庭科技術分野の教員を目指す学生には十分な理解が求められる.そこで CGI プログラムの書き換えを通して動的なサービスを作り,学生が自分の PC でサービスを提供する経験ができる教材を作成したので紹介する.プログラミング言語は Python とし,ウェブサーバには Python の http.server モジュールを利用する.教材は CGI プログラムのサンプルとプログラムを解説するテキストから構成される.大学生向けの講義 (2 回生向け,受講生 11 名)で教材を利用したところ,教材に大きな問題はないと分かった.また受講生全員がプログラムのサンプルを改良し作品を作成する課題を提出できた.
