筆者らは,呼吸検出用ドップラーレーダの性能を評価するため,人体の腹部運動を模擬したダイナミックファントムを開発した.また,ダイナミックファントムと人体の測定によって得られる出力波形を比較することで,ダイナミックファントムの妥当性を示した.

Many group techniques are used in attitude change, conversion, and thought reform. In attitude change, group discussion, organizational change, sensibility training group, role playing, psychodrama, sociodrama, and group psychotherapy used. As for conversion, we will take up as example the case of Sokagakkai, a sect of Buddism in Japan. The ardent believers combine in small groups on the first front line in the conversing campaign of the religious organization. In thought reform or “Culture Revolution” of the Red China, various forms of group techniques are found : such as learning movement, thought reform, rectification movement, etc. We can point out that these methods have affinities and differentials with each other. As for affinities on each side, small group method is used to bring up an attitude and behavior change. The mechanism of attitude change in group, which works on these fields, tends to enlarge ego-involvement of group members. Consequently, group members become to comformity to the norm, of the membership group, or the change of the norm of membership group accompany with the attitude and behavior change of group members. As for differentials, we will try to compare between the group techniques of the behavior sciences and those used in the Red China. The differentials may be summarised as follows : (1) The former aims at a partial change of an attitude or behavior, or one's modus operandi so to speak, whereas the latter is marked with the reform of ideology, or modus vivendi of one's whole existence. (2) Although both of them have orientation to the support of their social system, the former's direct interest is almost purely limited to the practice of democracy on group dimension, while the latter's ideal is the realization of democracy in the group for the revolution of the nation wide social dimension. (3) Accordingly, the former aims at “the making spontaneity and creativity” in the culture as a common donominator. In the latter, the cause of mistakes, (wrong deeds), done in the past should be abolished and people should be awakend by class consciousness, the people's real “independence making up.”(4) In the latter, the people takes a part of the propelling power and the source of energy of the revolution comes from the people of pre-lower socio-economic status, e.g., the poorer and lower middle class peasants, and proletarian workers. They expect the security of mind and the rise of their social status by the reform of the social consciousness and group organization. But in the former, the security of mind is only hoped for, and not immediately aimed at. (5) From the standpoint of the typology of groups, the groups in the former are generally temporary or functional ones. In the latter, the groups are the basic and primary units of the whole society, and are characterized by the production and daily life.

盗撮やカメラの写りこみによるプライバシー侵害を,被撮影者側から防止する手法を提案する.カメラ付き携帯端末の普及や,SNSや画像検索技術の進展により,無断で撮影・開示された写真を通じて,被撮影者がいつ・どこにいたかという情報が暴露されることになり,被撮影者のプライバシー保護が求められている.従来手法は被撮影者の顔面の隠ぺいや着色により顔面を変える必要があるため,物理空間における人対人のコミュニケーションに支障をきたすという問題があった.本論文では,被撮影者のプライバシーを保護するために,人間の視覚とデジタルカメラの撮像デバイスの感度特性の違いを利用したウェアラブルデバイスを被撮影者が着用することで,人の視覚に違和感を与えずに,撮影された画像からの人物の同定を不能にする手法を提案する.提案手法を実装したウェアラブルデバイス(プライバシーバイザー)を用いて10名の被験者による顔検出の評価実験を行った結果,プライバシーバイザーが被験者の顔を効果的に未検出にできることを確認した.

近年,マイクロブログの普及にともない,マイクロブログを用いた個人での情報発信が増加している.2011年3月11日に発生した東日本大震災においては,Twitterに多くの情報が投稿された.Twitterでは,重要な情報が伝搬された一方で,様々な流言の拡散も多数行われた.特に災害時は,流言が救援活動などに悪影響を及ぼす可能性が高いため,流言の広がりにくい環境を作る必要がある.本研究では,マイクロブログ上の流言に対して,どのような対応がされているかを調査した.また,人間によって発信される訂正情報に着目し,訂正情報に基づいて流言情報を収集・提供することにより流言拡散を防止するサービスを構築した.本提案手法では,流言であることを指摘する表現(流言マーカ)を含む情報を収集し,それらが訂正情報であるかどうかを判定する.平常時のツイート,災害時のツイートを用いて,構築した訂正情報分類器の判定精度を検証した結果,平常時を含めたデータを用いることで,平常時・災害時のどちらでも高精度な判定が期待できることを示した.

BackgroundCell growth rate reflects an organism’s physiological state and largely relies on the ability of gene expression to respond to the environment. The relationship between cellular growth rate and gene expression remains unknown.ResultsGrowth rate-coordinated changes in gene expression were discovered by analyzing exponentially growing Escherichia coli cells cultured under multiple defined environments, in which osmotic pressure, temperature and starvation status were varied. Gene expression analyses showed that all 3,740 genes in the genome could be simply divided into three clusters (C1, C2 and C3), which were accompanied by a generic trend in the growth rate that was coordinated with transcriptional changes. The direction of transcriptional change in C1 indicated environmental specificity, whereas those in C2 and C3 were correlated negatively and positively with growth rates, respectively. The three clusters exhibited differentiated gene functions and gene regulation task division.ConclusionsWe identified three gene clusters, exhibiting differential gene functions and distinct directions in their correlations with growth rates. Reverses in the direction of the growth rate correlated transcriptional changes and the distinguished duties of the three clusters indicated how transcriptome homeostasis is maintained to balance the total expression cost for sustaining life in new habitats.

We evaluated electronic structures and magnetic moments in Co3FeN epitaxial films on SrTiO3(001). The experimentally obtained hard x-ray photoemission spectra of the Co3FeN film have a good agreement with those calculated. Site averaged spin magnetic moments deduced by x-ray magnetic circular dichroism were 1.52 μ B per Co atom and 2.08 μ B per Fe atom at 100 K. They are close to those of Co4N and Fe4N, respectively, implying that the Co and Fe atoms randomly occupy the corner and face-centered sites in the Co3FeN unit cell.

We show that antipodal sets of symmetric R-spaces have the following properties. Any antipodal set is included in a great antipodal set and any two great antipodal sets are congruent.

We evaluated the capabilities of an in situ method for measuring copper isotopes of cubanite using UV-fs-LA-MC-ICP-MS. A comparison of the UV-fs laser results with those obtained from the NIR-fs laser system shows that there is obviously an improvement in the precision (<0.10‰, 2SE) when using the UV-fs laser. In both wavelength modes, matrix-matched standards are required for reliable in situ copper isotope analysis of cubanite. This method was applied to determinations for copper isotopes of minute cubanite grains in a skarn ore. Copper isotopic ratios of cubanite grains near a weathered surface of the sample are lower than those of intact cubanite grains within the sample, suggesting that selective leaching of heavier copper isotope in primary minerals occurred during weathering.

昨年度の成果に基づき、筒型内固定体^<1)>および挿入器具^<2)>の改良を行なった。筒型内固定体のサイズは、外径19mm、内径15.5mmとし、筒体の長さは20mmと25mmの2種類を作製した。また、解剖用遺体での挿入実験から、挿入器具の柄はある程度長くないと、力を加えるハンドル部分が大腿内側に衝突することが明らかになった。このため、六角レンチなどの柄を長くし、300mmとした。これにより、比較的スムースに挿入できることがわかった。正確な挿入は、ガイドワイヤーを使用し、X線透視下で行なうことで可能と考えられた。註1)筒型内固定体この内固定材は、上下が開放した筒状の構造で、外壁にネジ山を有する形状とした。素材は生体親和性の高いチタンを選択した。使用に際しては、大腿骨頭の内下方から骨頭頂点を向けて挿入することを想定している。挿入された筒型内固定体は、罹患大腿骨頭内の頚部に近い側では、骨を筒の内部と外部に分断する。一方、関節面に近い部位では連続したままの状態である。大腿骨頭の中央に、壊死骨と健常骨の分界面が存在する場合には、内固定体の挿入により、壊死骨の形状は半球状から筒の内部の骨を加えた茸状に変化し、分界面の形状は単純な面ではなくなる。また壊死骨と健常骨とは筒型内固定体の外部のネジ山で固定される。この結果、大腿骨頭は、地滑り様の移動あるいは陥入を起こしにくくなると考えられる。2)挿入器具骨頭下リーマー、内固定体リーマー、タップ、六角レンチを試作した。この他、挿入手術用開創鉤、関節包用剪刀などについても試作した。

Production of single cell protein (SCP) by methanol-using bacteria was studied. A large number of methanol-using bacteria were isolated from a wide variety of natural sources in Japan. Strain BNK-84 was selected for its growth rate, growth temperature, cell yield, content of crude protein, and content of amino acids, and was identified as Methylobacillus glycogenes (Yordy and Weaver) emend. Urakami and Komagata 1986.Continuous cultures of this strain were done, and the feasibility of SCP production from methanol was studied. Optimum cultural condition were 38℃, pH 6.5-7.0,and a dilution rate of 0.2-0.6h^<-1>. Optimum dissolved oxygen (DO) was 1.5〜10ppm and optimum CO_2 partial pressure (PCO_2) was below 0.14atm. DO-limiting continous cultures were not suitable for the production of SCP because point of the cell yield. Methanol-limiting cultures showed the maximum specific growth rate, 0.60h^<-1>;the cell yield, 45 wt%;the content of crude protein, 86 wt%;the content of amino acids, 70 wt%;and the maximum content of nucleic acids, 20 wt%.For the commercial production of SCP, the continuous cultures with supernatant recycled, with high concentration of cells, and with long-term were studied. The continuous cultures with recycled supernatant were stable. At the feed methanol concentration of 16 wt%, the cell concentration was approximately 6 wt% and cell productivity reached approximately 15 g・l^<-1>・h^<-1>. Long-term continuous cultures (two hundred consecutive days) were stable with respect to the cell yield, the cell composition, and the stability of strain.Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company (MGC) constructed a pilot plant, equiped with an air-lift fermentor with a nominal volume of 20 m_3,in 1974. Process engineering was done based on the data obtained from this pilot plant for the purpose of scale-up to a further commercial plant. Pilot plant operation was similar to the operation of a small jar fermentor. MGC developed sufficient know-how for the construction and operation of a commercial plant from the pilot plant operation.When SCP is used as the source of animal feed protein, two factors are most important, safety and nutritional value. The pathogenicity of strain BNK-84 was tested in laboratory animals, and it was confirmed to be nonpathogenic. The chemical composition of SCP indicated a high nutritional potential, and the amino acid composition was almost comparable with that of fish meal. Feeding trials of SCP using laying hens, broilers, and pigs were done in various institutes. The nutritional value of SCP was similar to that of soybeans.
