The purpose of this study is to clarify the system of stone wall planning of Castles in Korea. This study is based on the methods of analysis from the Hwasung-Sungyuk-Eukwe (HSE). The HSE is the document of the construction of the Hwa castle (Suwon Castle), which was built in 1796, the second half of the chosun Dynasty (1392-1910) in Korea. The HSE offers many facts about the building system of the Chosun Dynasty, stone wall construction system; the supply system of the building materials, the building expenses and the organization of the workers. This is the first step for studying the system of Oriental Castle planning.

本論文では, ユーザの潜在的好みを推定する手法を提案する. 同手法では, ユーザ本人のアクセス履歴に加え, 好みの似ている他ユーザ(一類似ユーザ)を探し, そのアクセス履歴も活用する. そのため, ユーザ本人が未アクセスの情報集合の中に埋もれていて潜在的好みに合致する情報を推薦提示できる. 本推定手法は「直接的類似ユーザ探索手法(SUSM:Similar-User Search Method)」と「間接的類似ユーザ探索手法(ISUSM:Indirect Similar-User Search Method)」から構成される. SUSMはユーザ本人と他ユーザのアクセス履歴を比較し, 共通にアクセスされた情報が最も多い他ユーザを探す手法である. ISUSMはSUSMにより探し出された類似ユーザの情報を用いて間接的に類似ユーザを探す手法である. 本手法を音楽検索システムに適用し, 潜在的好みに合致する情報を類似ユーザのアクセス履歴から探して推薦曲とした. 実験の結果, ユーザ本人のアクセス履歴のみから推薦曲を選ぶ場合と比較して, 提案手法の場合はユーザ本人の好みに合致する推薦曲(=有効推薦曲)が2倍以上に増加することを確認した.

Glass slides and silicon chips were modified with aminosilane and various linker molecules to provide activated surfaces for covalent immobilization of oligonucleotides under ambient condition, and the surface-attached oligonucleotides remain active for solid-phase DNA hybridization and polymerase chain reaction.

We report a rare case of humeral avulsion of middle glenohumeral ligament. A 35-year-old male, who had a 10-year career of gymnastics felt an apprehension of subluxation in his left shoulder. By moving his shoulder forward, he felt a subluxation and at the end stage of flexion he felt a click and a dull pain. Tenderness of rotator interval, crank test and relocation test were all positive. MRI revealed MGHL injury or HAGL lesion. Arthroscopic examination revealed humeral avulsion of middle glenohumeral ligament. Repair of MGHL by suture anchor method was performed. Postoperatively, there was good relief of pain and apprehension of subluxation. MGHL injury was mostly of joint side avulsion, humeral avulsion of MGHL injury was very rare. Diagnosis of MGHL injury is difficult, but careful inquiry into medical history and clinical examination can lead to proper diagnosis.

L-type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1), an isoform of amino acid transport system L, transports branched or aromatic amino acids essential for fundamental cellular activities such as cellular growth, proliferation and maintenance. This amino acid transporter recently has received attention because of its preferential and up-regulated expression in a variety of human tumors, in contrast to its limited distribution and low-level expression in normal tissues. In this study, to explore the feasibility of using LAT1 expression as a molecular marker in mammary gland tumors (MGT), we performed a comparative study of LAT1 expression at the mRNA and protein levels in normal mammary gland cells and tumor cells. Conventional RT-PCR and Western blotting were performed on MGT tissues from 16 dogs and normal organs from nine healthy dogs. LAT1 expression was detected in ten of the 16 MGT patients. As is the case in human tissues, LAT1 showed limited expressional distribution in normal canine organs. For quantitative expressional comparison, extensive real-time RT-PCR was performed on mRNA samples from 53 MGT patients. The comparison demonstrated that LAT1 mRNA levels from MGT tissues were 20 times higher than those in normal mammary gland tissues. Additionally, histologically invasive MGT showed a higher expression of LAT1 than non-invasive tumors. These findings suggest that LAT1 could be a clinical marker and therapeutic target for invasive malignant MGT.

脳血行動態が信号強度に反映する測定手段であるファンクショナルMRI(f MRI)と近赤外分光測定(NIRS)を同時に行うことで、脳神経活動に伴う脳血行動態の解釈をより確実にすることを目的とた。まず、(1)微細な脳血行動態測定のための高空間分解能f MRIにおけるアーチファクトの低減を目指した。次いで(2)f MRIとNIRSの同時測定を行い、2つの異なる情報から脳血行動態の解釈を行った。(1) f MRI画像における熱的ノイズ強度を基に画像ノイズを評価する指標を確立した。この指標により、アーチファクトの主な要因として考えられる体動・拍動・呼吸などの生理的揺動の影響を定量的に評価した。その結果、撮像後の画像処理で行われる動きの補正は画像空間分解能が粗いと不十分であり、十分な補正を行うためには1mm×1mm程度の空間分解能が必要であることが判明した。さらに、呼吸による影響は大部分が呼吸に連動した頭部の動きであることがわかり、不随意的な体動と共に動きの補正処理によりそれらの影響が低減することが確認された。(2) MRI装置に複数のNIRS用プローブを装荷し同時測定を行い、手指対立運動による脳活性化を測定した。f MRIで描出されるBOLD効果を反映した領域はNIRSで測定されるデオキシヘモグロビン(deoxyHb)変化と対応している傾向が認められた。NIRS測定ではオキシヘモグロビンとdeoxyHbの変化はover compensation的変化を示す部位が顕著であったが、夫々の変化が現れる部位は多少ずれる傾向があり、動脈と静脈の分布の違いを反映している。さらに、脳神経活動に伴う脳血行動態のさらなる精密測定を行うためには、NIRSの3次元的把握(画像化)によりf MRIでの描出領域との対応解釈を進めていくことが求められる。
