物語テクストに頻出する様々なレベルにおける「反復」は,同一レベルの同一単位について以外にも,隠喩や換喩,或いは提喩などの転義的操作を経たものや,更に微細な類似性に基づくものまで認められる.このような反復は,旋律を装飾する変奏の一種で,定旋律を他声部が模倣的に先取りする手法である「前模倣」に比することが出来る.本報告は『千一夜物語』のテクストを対象として,装飾としての反復について考察する.

Background: Does asking for the percentage of time spent sitting during work (P-method) instead of asking for the absolute length of time spent sitting (T-method) improve properties of the workers’ sitting- and walking-time questionnaire (WSWQ)? The purpose of this study was to investigate whether questioning technique influences test-retest reliability and criterion validity of the WSWQ.Methods: Sixty-five Japanese workers completed each version of the WSWQ in random order. Both questionnaires assessed quantities of time spent sitting or walking (including standing) during work time, non-working time on a workday, and anytime on a non-workday. Participants wore the thigh-worn inclinometer (activPAL) as criterion measure. Intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) and Spearman’s ρ were used for the analyses.Results: For all three domains, values of reliability and validity with the P-method tended to be higher than with the T-method: ICC values ranged from 0.48–0.85 for the T-method and from 0.71–0.85 for the P-method; Spearman’s ρ values ranged from 0.25–0.58 for the T-method and from 0.42–0.65 for the P-method. The validities with both methods on a workday (0.51–0.58 for the T-method and 0.56–0.65 for the P-method) were higher than validities on a non-workday (0.25–0.45 for the T-method and 0.42–0.60 for the P-method). In post-survey interviews, 48 participants (77%) chose the P-method as their preferred questioning style.Conclusions: The study revealed that the P-method WSWQ had better reliability, validity, and ease of answering than the T-method, suggesting that the P-method can improve properties of the WSWQ and consequently advance the quality of epidemiological surveys in this field.

非熱的放射を示す天体現象の研究は,宇宙線の加速機構やその加速現場を探るとともに,宇宙のエネルギー形態の一つである非熱的エネルギーの果たす役割を知る上で重要である.硬X線領域での放射スペクトル測定は,熱的放射から切り離された非熱的放射を選択的に調べることを可能にするが,これまでの衛星では高い感度が得られなかった.日本のX線衛星「すざく」は,広いエネルギー範囲でのスペクトル測定に威力を発揮し,硬X線領域においては世界最高の感度を有する.本稿では「すざく」による硬X線観測の結果を中心として,高エネルギー粒子加速(超新星残骸,ガンマ線連星)と極限状態での非熱的現象(マグネター)の研究を紹介する.

A questionnaire survey was performed to obtain pharmacy students' impressions of pharmacists' behavior, to classify these based on professionalism, and to analyze the relationship between these experiences and students' satisfaction with their clinical practice in Japan. The questionnaire was answered by 327 5th-year pharmacy school students upon completing clinical practice at community pharmacies from 2011 to 2012. They rated their satisfaction with their clinical practice using a 6-point Likert scale, and provided descriptions of their experience such as, “This health provider is professional”, or “What a great person he/she is as a health provider”. We counted the words and then categorized the responses into 10 traits, as defined by the American Pharmaceutical Association Academy of Students of Pharmacy—American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, Council of Deans Task Force on Professionalism 1999, using text mining. We analyzed the relationship between their experiences with respectful persons, and satisfaction, using the Mann-Whitney U-test (significance level<0.05). Most students (337 of 364, 92.6%) reported experiences with respectful health providers. These students experienced significantly more satisfaction than did other students (p<0.001). We analyzed 343 sentences written by 261 students, using text mining analysis after excluding unsuitable responses. The word most used was “patient” (121 times). Many students noted their impression that the pharmacists had answered patients' questions. Of the 10 trait categories, “professional knowledge and skills” was mentioned most often (151 students).

Notre reflexion nous a amene a reconnaitre la diversite - plutot que la coherence - des fonctions et des valeurs du ≪sentiment≫ pascalien, dans lequel on peut discerner quatre formes principales. Le sentiment religieux, grace fortuite, incline le coeur de l'homme, le convainc immediatement de la verite de Dieu. Le sentiment naturel, fournissant a tous les etres humains les connaissances communes - comme les premiers principes rincipes et les notions des mots primitifs -, constitue l'≪instinct≫ de l'homme. Les sentiments originaires des sens corporels se trouvent etre d'une part la cause de la concupiscence, et d'autre part le crtitere de la verite des questions de fait. Et l'esprit de finesse devine le modele de beaute, et pratique l'≪art d'agreer≫, rhetorique permettant a l'auteur d'etre aime du lecteur. Ainsi, le sentiment est la source des multiples activites humained dont les valeurs morales presentent une stricte hierarchie: la vie animale, la vie culturelle et la vie devote. Le ≪sentiment≫ chez Pascal est a la fois la faculte de connaissance inherente a l'homme et le seul moyen pour acceder a l'etre qui lui est transcendant.
