最近,シビックテック(Civic Tech)と呼ばれる市民(=Civic)がIT技術(=Technology)を活用して地域課題を解決しようという取り組みの広がりがある.オープンデータは,シビックテックにおいて活用されることが多く,両者を連携した活動も各地で行われている.これらの取り組みは,LOD技術の普及活動とも相まって様々な展開が見られている.本解説では,関西を中心としたLOD技術の普及活動とシビックテック活動の経験を踏まえ,LODという新しい技術の普及活動を進めていく上で,シビックテックとの関わりから得た知見を活動事例と共に報告する.

蔵書検索のために,ユーザの入力文字列に関連する件名を提案する手法を検討した.本手法では,Wikipedia Amazon Web Service GoogleのWeb情報源を用いて検索質問を拡張することにより,BSH4件名標目を提案する.コンピュータ用語を入力文字列とした実験の結果,出力された件名の関連度が一定水準以上であったこと Web情報源の統合使用は単体使用よりも有効であったこと OPACのデータを用いる手法と比べて遜色のない件名が出力できたこと,がわかった.また,コンピュータ用語や流行語を入力文字列とした実験の結果 OPACのデータを用いる手法では件名が提示されない場合に本法は提示できることを確認した.We propose a method to suggest BSH4 subject headings by expanding query according to user's input using such Web information sources as Wildpedia,AmazonWebService(AWS),and Google.Experimental results revealed the following,When computer terms were input,suggested headings were related to the input term;isuggested subject headings were better than we used a mixture of Wildpedia,AWS and Google han When we just used one of them;suggested subject headings were not inferior to those suggested by othermethods that use OPAC data.We also confirmed that when computer and buzz terms were input,our method can suggest subject headings where other methods cannot.

Recently the importance of mathematical information retrieval (MIR) has been recognized and various methods for mathematical expression retrieval have also been proposed. However, since mathematical expressions on the Web are not annotated with natural language, searching for mathematical expressions by conventional search engines is difficult. For helping people in various fields who use mathematics as a learning tool, our proposed method performs a Web search using a mathematical term as a query, extracts mathematical expression images (math-images) related to the query from the obtained Web pages, and presents the top ten math-images with their surrounding information. The method measures the relevance between a query and a math-image from the following viewpoints: the math-image is in a separate line, it has the query in the neighborhood and appropriate image feature quantities, and it appears in the first part of the Web page. We use a support vector machine to discriminate if the image provides appropriate feature quantities. We conducted two experiments with our proposed method. We determined its scoring parameters in Experiment 1 and evaluated it in Experiment 2. The results revealed the usefulness of our proposed method with accuracy, recall, F-measure, mean reciprocal rank (MRR), and mean average precision (MAP).

ロシアモダニズム期の作家S.D.クルジジャノフスキイによる、芸術における演劇的構造に関する指摘を出発点として、19世紀末から20世紀初頭に誕生した演出家主導型の演劇に関する調査・研究を行った。海外でのアーカイヴ調査を経て演劇の豊穣と他の芸術との相関関係を確認した。論文と学会発表以外に、演劇博物館所蔵の未整理資料調査の結果発見した同時代の貴重な資料等を用い、展示および図録での成果発表を行った(「メイエルホリドの演劇と生涯」展、「ロシア演劇のモダニズムとアヴァンギャルド」展)。

The patient was a 74-year old male who presented with a skin rash, cough, and impaired consciousness. Adiffuse, systemic, dark red rash was observed and he was admitted. Varicella infection was diagnosed based on the varicella-zoster virus (VZV)-IgM levels. The extremely high VZV- IgG levels observed were unlikely to be present inaninitial infection and the infection was thought to be a reoccurrence. Diffuse nodular shadows measuring ≤5mm indiameter were observed on chest computed tomography (CT) ; this was consistent with the typical imaging findings of varicella pneumonia. The cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) was positive for CSF VZV-IgM antibody, CSF VZV-PCR, and CSF antibody titer index. A diagnosisofvaricella meningitis was made. When both respiratory and neurological symptoms are observed inpatients with varicella infection, it is necessary to consider a combined diagnosis of varicella pneumonia and varicella meningitis/encephalitis and perform chest imaging and a CSF examination. Repeated asymptomaticre-infection isconsidered necessary in order to maintaina life long immunity to varicella ; however, the opportunities for asymptomaticre-infection are decreasing with the declining birth rate and trend toward small families. As a result, reoccurrences of varicella infection in the elderly are expected to increase with rapidlyincreasing longevity.

Web of Data というコンセプトのもと,ウェブ上で計算機処理可能なデータを分散的に生成し,それを互いにリンクさせることにより,共有財としてのデータベース資源を確立するという試み,それが Linked Open Data である.その特質を活用し,これまで行政が単独で担ってきた情報収集,分析とそれを生かした政策実現,住民サービス実施を分担するという試みが始まっている.本論文では,住民コミュニティと行政の連携を通じたボトムアップ型オープンガバメントの試みについて紹介し,ウェブ標準技術が共有財の創出と受益者の拡大にどのように貢献できるかについて検討する.

本発表ではLinked Dataをいかに日本で普及させていくかについて課題を述べると共に著者の活動を紹介する。著者らはLODAC Projectという日本のデータをLinked Dataとして公開する活動を行っている。その一つとして現在取り組んでいる芸術情報のLinked Dataについて紹介する。

これまで著者らは生体に対する騒音ストレス作因の生理的影響に関する研究を行うなかで,生理的のみならず心理的な影響をも把握することの必要性を感じた。物理的ストレスが心理的,情動的ストレスとなって不安を生ずる事は,Aiken1)の不安とストレスは[異体同形]であるとの提言からも考えられることである。従来不安の問題は,Kierkegaard2)に代表されるように,主として哲学ことに宗教と倫理学の課題であった。それを心理学の領域で,はじめて病態心理との関連において概念づけたのは精神分析学を樹立したFreud3)であり,彼は神経症的状態の治療においても不安を中心的な問題として重視した。一般に用いられるようになった最初の不安検査は,Taylor4)によって開発され公表された顕在性不安尺度(Manifest Anxiety Scale: MAS)である。その後一連の不安研究の後,Cattell and Scheier5)やLazarusら6)は不安をその特質から一過性にみられる気分としての不安状態と不安への陥りやすさとして捕えられる性格傾向としての不安特性の二つに分けることを提案した。この二つの不安についてSpielberger7)が明確に定義づけをした。すなわち不安には,ある状況下で大きく変動するような状態としての不安(state-anxiety以下A-Stateと略記)と,ある個人において比較的一定していると言われる性格特性としての不安(trait-anxiety以下A-Traitと略記)の二つがある。さらにSpielberger, Gorsuch and Lushene8)は諸種の不安尺度を検討して,既存のどの尺度も状態としての不安と性格としての不安を区別せずに測定しており,不安に関するこれまでの全ての質問票テストはA-Traitを測定していると指摘し,最終的にこのA-StateとA-Traitを測定する尺度として1970年に状態-特性不安尺度State-Trait Anxiety Inventory(略してSTAIと呼ばれる)を発表した。本研究の目的は,若年者および高齢者,また各種状態におけるSTAIの検査結果から,この尺度の妥当性,信頼性を検討することである。さらに衛生学分野において,環境の変化特に騒音が人に対して精神的ストレス因子となって負荷したときのSTAIの応用の良否を検討することをも目的とするものである。

When users find information about people from the results of Web people searches, they often need to browse many obtained Web pages and check much unnecessary information. This task is time-consuming and complicates the understanding of the designated people. We investigate a method that integrates the useful information obtained from Web pages and displays them to understand people. We focus on curriculum vitae, which are widely used for understanding people. We propose a method that extracts event sentences from Web pages and displays them like a curriculum vita. The event sentence includes both time and events related to a person. Our method is based on the following: (1) extracting event sentences using heuristics and filtering them, (2) judging whether event sentences are related to a designated person by mainly using the patterns of HTML tags, (3) classifying these sentences to categories by SVM, and (4) clustering event sentences including both identical times and events. Experimental results revealed the usefulness of our proposed method.

The objective of this research is to investigate future maintenance methods focusing on water behaviors in the PC superstructure of the road bridge that has been in service for 23 years after construction under severe chloride environment. In the detailed investigations from 8 years ago, it was found that this bridge was deteriorated by corrosion of epoxy coated reinforcing bars and remarkable pop-out of concrete inside box girders due to the action of water. After various countermeasures to control water inside concrete, it was revealed that no remarkable deterioration was found in 2019. Based on these results, the maintenance methodology from the viewpoint of water was proposed.

酸性水の作用を受けたコンクリートの劣化について,設計基準強度が24N/mm2クラスの一般的なコンクリートから,高強度・高耐久性を有する超高性能コンクリート(Super Quality Concrete)までを対象とした評価を行うことを目的として,試験体による室内試験を行うとともに,酸性水に対する劣化の予測式を提案した.提案した予測式は,コンクリートの配合と酸性水の作用環境をもとに劣化を予測するもので,通常のコンクリートおよび超高性能コンクリートの各配合に適用できるほか,乾湿繰り返しを伴う酸の作用に対しても適用可能であり,構造物の設計段階における照査にも利用できるものである.

Distinguishing different people with identical names is becoming more and more important in person searches on the Web. The aim of this research is to dispatch useful labels for identifying persons in “person clusters,” which are generated as a result of person searches on the Web. In this paper, we propose a method to label person clusters with “vocation-related information.” The vocation-related information includes broader terms that may be considered as vocations, and terms that are useful to infer vocations, not only those rigorously defined as vocations. Our method is based on (a) extracting candidates of vocation-related information by using HTML structures and simple heuristics, and (b) generating vocation-related information by using term frequencies,synonym clustering, and Web search engines. Experimental results revealed the usefulness of the proposed method.

筆者らはイラスト地図や古地図といった精度が厳密でない地図画像上に現在地を表示させたり、その地図画像を同地点同方向同縮尺で標準地図と切り替えたりすることができるスマートフォンアプリケーション「ちずぶらり」シリーズを制作している。そこでは地図ごとにPOI情報を付与していたが、今回、LODによる緯度経度情報付きの公開情報を動的に読み込む機能の実装を行った。その効果について議論する。
