National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) started to develop H-II launch vehicle in 1983 and succeeded in the 1st flight on February in 1994. Meanwhile, several troubles were experienced in the development of LE-7 which is the 1st stage engine of H-II. The LE-7 is a staged combustion cycle engine with high pressure and high Isp like SSME. Therefore, high delivery pressure and high performance were required for LH2 turbopump, which is the main key component, and caused several troubles in the development. This paper describes the development of LH2 turbopump containing the design description, the contents of some troubles and their counterplans. In addition, some activities to solve turbopump life and endurance will be introduced.

As the electrification of the transportation sector is being promoted to achieve carbon neutrality, the promotion of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) has become an urgent issue. One of the concerns about BEVs from the user's point of view is the range anxiety that the vehicle may not be able to reach its destination due to power shortage. However, few studies have clarified the timing of the anxiety felt by users. In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on domestic users who switched from an engine vehicle to a BEV. As a result, it was found that the timing at which BEV users felt range anxiety and wanted to recharge their vehicles tended to be influenced by recharging habits based on individual personality factors, rather than environmental factors such as BEV driving experience and the density of rechargers. In addition, the SoC ratio of the timing of wanting to recharge was found to be correlated with the timing of recharging the BEV and the timing of recharging the cell phone.

四肢は動静脈奇形の好発部位であり,血管内治療の果たす役割は大きい。その理由として,表在(皮下)病変,深部(筋・骨)病変のいずれにも経動脈的,経静脈的あるいは直接穿刺によるアプローチが比較的容易であることがあげられる。また,硬化療法を併用する場合,硬化剤の中枢静脈への流出を防止し,標的血管内に長時間停滞させることがポイントとなるが,そのための血流コントロールを確実に行うことが可能である。病変の解剖,血流動態を正確に評価し,症例に応じた適切な治療方法を選択することが,治療効果の向上と合併症の予防に重要である。

Sales of electric vehicle are rapidly growing in worldwide. Vehicle grid integration is important for mitigating impact of charging demand on the distribution feeders, realizing renewable powered charging from the rooftop photovoltaic and wind power generation, and contributing to the Vehicle-to-Grid ancillary services for the power systems. This paper reviews current trends of the vehicle grid integration R&D. Future prospective is also pointed out on the key issues such as an electrical interface, multiple services integration, and the electric vehicle living demonstration for open innovation.

発達障害には生物学的背景の存在を示唆する報告が多い。本稿ではそれら報告のうち精神生理学的研究として,頭皮上脳波,聴性脳幹反応,事象関連電位の現在までの知見を概説した。それらの中には客観的指標となる可能性がある知見もあるが,今までの研究の結果には精神遅滞の影響が含まれていた可能性がある。また事象関連電位の研究では発達障害の特徴に応じた課題の工夫などが必要である。

抄録 小児ADHDの症状評価で世界的に汎用されるADHD-RS-Ⅳは,海外にて成人ADHDに対応する質問(prompts)と組み合わせて成人向けに使用されている(ADHD-RS-Ⅳ with adult prompts)。本研究は,日本語版promptsを作成し,日本人の成人ADHD患者36名および非ADHD成人被験者12名を対象に,その信頼性および妥当性を検討した。その結果,評価者内および評価者間信頼性の指標である級内相関係数は高く,内部一貫性の指標であるCronbach αは高い値を示した。CAARS日本語版およびCGI-Sとの相関で検討した妥当性も良好であり,かつADHD患者と非ADHD被験者との判別能力を検討するROC解析においても優れた結果であった。成人用prompts日本語版は,ADHD-RS-Ⅳとともに用いることで,成人ADHDの症状評価の手段として有用であると考えられた。

In general, it is difficult for others to understand the peculiar manifestations of Asperger's syndrome(AS) in social and school situations, so AS patients are often met with misunderstanding and negative assessments. As a result, AS patients face difficulties in developing a positively organized concept of self. In the present study, we recruited seven adolescent patients with AS and conducted a sentence completion test (SCT) in addition to a semi-structured interview focused on the following four problems: 1) Difficulty with personal relationships, 2) Differences between oneself and others, 3) Experiences of being bullied, 4) Current status of medical therapy or counseling. The results indicated that all of the patients had insufficient awareness that their "experiences of being bullied" and the "differences between oneself and others" were caused by their own disorder. They also did not understand that this insufficient awareness might contribute to their negative concept of self. However, some of them had developed a more positive concept of self and self-awareness, skillfully adapting to their social environment with professional psychosocial support and familial (especially maternal) support, and having participated in social activities such as school attendance and employment. This emphasizes the importance of promoting the formation of positive self concept and self-awareness for AS patients.

Because of global warming, the attention to the photovoltaic generation has increased, and a lot of photovoltaic generations will be installed in the power system. In Japan, most photovoltaic generations will be connected to the distribution system. This will make the power flow in the power system changed. That is to say that the forward power flow (flow from higher voltage system to lower voltage system) reduces, or, moreover, that the reverse power flow occurs. Because of the change in power flow, the voltage characteristics will be also changed. Consequently, it is expected that the penetration of photovoltaic generation has some impacts on voltage stability. In previous study, the voltage characteristics in simple power system model which consists of one infinite bus, one load, and one photovoltaic generation is made clear. It is indicated from the results that there is not only forward power flow limit but also reverse power flow limit (left nose in PV curve), and that, when the output power from photovoltaic generation is very large, left nose sometimes has some impacts on voltage stability. In this paper, the voltage stability in the simple power system model considering the dynamics of an induction motor is discussed.

In this paper, simple power system model which consists of one infinite bus, one load, and one photovoltaic generation is considered, and the fundamental voltage characteristics are discussed by PV curves and phasor diagram. The voltage characteristics considering the current limit by PCS (Power Conditioning System) in the photovoltaic generation are also discussed.
