A set of Hamilton cycles in the complete graph K_n is called a λ-ply Dudeney set if every path of length two lies on exactly λ of the cycles. The problem of constructing a λ-ply Dudeney set in Kn has been solved when n is even, but it is still open when n is odd. In this paper, we construct a λ-ply Dudeney set in Kn, where λ=n-3 when n=4k + 3 (k ≥ 1), and II^<e-1>_<i=0>(2^<e-i>k_1-2) when n=2^ek_1+1 ≥ 5 (e ≥ 1, k_1 is odd).

Dudeney's round table problem was proposed about one hundred years ago. It is already solved when the number of people is even, but it is still unsettled except only few cases when the number of people is odd. In this paper, another solution of Dudeney's round table problem is given when n=p+2, where p is an odd prime number such that 2 or -2 is a primitive root of GF(p). The method of constructing the solution is new.

A set of Hamilton cycles in the complete graph on n vertices is called a Dudeney set, if every path of length two lies on exactly one of the cycles. It has been conjectured that there is a Dudeney set for every complete graph, but it is still unsettled. Furthermore, little is known about the number of non-isomorphic Dudeney sets. In the previous paper, we constructed two types of new Dudeney sets using perfect 1-factorizations and determined the numbers of these Dudeney sets. In this paper, we show Dudeney sets of these types are not isomorphic, so the number of them are determined.

In this paper, we prove that there exists a perfect 1-factorization of the complete bipartite graph K_<n,n> if there exists a perfect 1-factorization of the complete graph K_<n+1>, and when n > 2 is even, there does not exist perfect 1-factorizations of K_<n,n>.

We analyzed economic and social development in 42 countries of the world with statistical data from the World Bank and the United Nations Development Program. Using Principal Component Analysis, we found 6 principal components; economic and social development level, economic growth potential, trade dependency, agricultural development, agricultural potential and inflation. We also categorized the countries using Cluster Analysis.

新型インフルエンザによるパンデミックは、20世紀に入って以降、1918-19年、1957-58年、1968-69年と3回が記録されており、それぞれ、スペインインフルエンザ(原因ウイルスはA/H1N1亜型)、アジアインフルエンザ(A/H2N2亜型)、香港インフルエンザ(A/H3N2亜型)と呼ばれているが、その後、2005年現在までパンデミックの発生はみられていない。インフルエンザに関する科学的知見が蓄積されるにつれ、再びパンデミックがおこることが懸念され、1993年にはドイツでの第7回ヨーロッパインフルエンザ会議、また1995年に米国でのパンデミックインフルエンザ会議での報告をはじめとして、多くの専門家から「人の世界において流行する新型インフルエンザウイルスが早ければ数年のうちに出現する」との警告が出されていた。世界保健機関(WHO)は、1999年4月に、Influenza pandemic preparedness plan. The role of WHO and guidelines for national or regional planning. Geneva, Switzerland, April 1999を発表し、各国でPandemic Planを策定することを勧告し、2005年5月には、WHO global influenza preparedness plan. The role of WHO and recommendations for national measures before and during pandemics.(グローバルインフルエンザ事前対策計画)を発表してその具体的な方針を示したことから、世界各国のパンデミックプランの策定は促進された。そして、近年の鳥インフルエンザのヒトへの感染事例の多発を受けて、現在世界では、H5N1亜型の鳥インフルエンザウイルスがヒト世界に侵入してパンデミックを起こすのではないかという目前の脅威に対して莫大な予算をかけて準備を進めており、本邦においても、2007年度末に新型インフルエンザ専門家会議が、サーベイランス、公衆衛生対策、ワクチン及び抗ウイルス薬、医療、情報提供・共有の5つの部門別に設置され、2007年3月にそれぞれのガイドラインとしてまとめられた。もちろん、この背景にはこれまでの歴史的な背景からH5N1亜型のような高病原性の鳥インフルエンザウイルスはヒト世界には侵入しないのではないかと議論も理解した上で、これが近い未来にパンデミックを起こさなかったとしても、他の亜型による発生の危険性は依然として存在する。また、これに対して準備を進めることは、大地震、ハリケーン、津波などの自然災害、バイオテロなどの人為災害、すべての健康危機から国民を守ることにつながるという国家戦略としての危機管理の考え方がある。ここでは、歴史的なLesson Learnedや世界の対応状況をもとに、パンデミック対策の戦略を考えてみたい。

In the age of open admission to colleges, changes need to be made to the social mission of each college. In order to maintain a high standard of education, the following issues need to be discussed and coped with in each college : the establishment of the social mission of each college ; clarification of educational goals; a system for enforcing educational programs ; evaluation method of the outcome. An activity for academic quality assurance has been introduced in the college of engineering at Shibaura Institute of Technology. The systems for improving core academic competence, including a system of advice on withdrawal, educational content and so on, were introduced into foundation courses. For education in specialized field, an educational program based on JABEE has been utilized. This program fulfills the requirements of academic quality assurance.

〔目的〕理学療法学科1学年女子学生における精神的健康度と大学生活不安との関連を調査すること.〔対象〕平成27年2月に1学年に在籍する4年制大学の理学療法学科女子学生44名であった.〔方法〕コーネル・メディカル・インデックスによる精神的健康度と大学生活不安尺度を調査した.〔結果〕CMIにて32%の学生が神経症またはその可能性ありと分類され,これらの学生は,CLASの日常生活不安,評価不安,大学不適応感,総合点のすべてにおいて正常群と比べて有意に高値であった.〔結語〕神経症傾向の学生は,対人関係,学業成績,大学への適合感,就職について不安感を持つ学生が多い.このため,早期に良好な対人関係を作られる援助,職業意識を高める指導など不安を軽減させるための対策が必要である.
