Ground mixtures containing uracill were prepared using various additives such as celluloses, proteins, cyclodextrins, enteric coating agents and inorganic compounds in a planetary ball mill. The amorphous state of uracil was observed in the X-ray diffraction patterns of some of the ground mixtures. The results of infrared spectral analysis indicated deprotonation of uracil after 30 h of (30-h) grinding with sodium polyglutamate. All ground mixtures showed the transient supersaturation of uracil in dissolution studies. The initial amount of uracil dissolved from the 30-h ground mixtures with sodium benzoate derivatives, ethylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethylcellulose acetate succinate and proteins was 2.5 to 9-times that dissolved from intact uracil. The crystallinity and solubility of uracil in the ground mixtures were affected by the mixing ratio, grinding time and moisture content of the additive.

1. A new apparatus, consisting of a strain gauge and a carrier amplifier, was devised for measuring back muscular and shoulder arm strength by the author. This apparatus was applied for analysing myogenic disorder related to muscular fatigue or pain.2. Muscular strength with load and its myogram were recorded simultaneously, and their changes during the exertion were analysed.3. Muscular strength-myograms of sternocleidomastoid muscle, upper trapezius muscle, deltoid muscle, rhomboid muscle and lumbodorsal muscle were observed from the back muscular strength-myogram, and those of teres minor muscle and major pectoral muscle from the shoulder arm strength-myogram.4. It seemed paradoxically that the amplitude of action myogram increased in proportion to the grade of lowering of muscular strength caused by muscular fatigue or pain.

本研究の目的は,健康な若年女性を対象に,冷え症の要因として遺伝子変異が関わっているか否かを明らかにし,冷えの発症機序を自律神経機能から解明することである.女子学生 27 人を冷え症 17 人と非・冷え症 10 人の 2 群に分け,肥満関連遺伝子(UCP-1, β2-AR, β3-AR)と高血圧関連遺伝子(AGT)の変異の出現頻度を検討した.その結果,冷え症体質者では非冷え性体質者に較べ冷水負荷後の皮膚温度回復が遅く(<i>P</i>=0.006),β3-AR 遺伝子変異の出現率が高いことがわかった.次に,β3-AR 遺伝子を wild 群と mutant 群の 2 群に分けて,冷水負荷時の自律神経活動の変化を心電図の R-R 間隔から検討した.冷水負荷により心臓交感神経活動は抑制されその後回復するが,mutant 群では wild 群と比較して回復が遅延し,有意差が認められた.以上から,冷え症は β3-AR 遺伝子変異が引き起こす交感神経の反応性の低下に起因する可能性が示唆された.

An advanced underwater camera was used for recording coral spawning at a flow-through seawater aquarium. A colony of Acropora digitifera from the reef flat of Sesoko Island, Okinawa, Japan was transferred to a flow-through aquarium and photographed continuously for 5 days at 10 min intervals using an underwater digital camera equipped with a lens wiper. LED lighting was provided. The number of gamete bundle-like particles between the coral and seawater surface was counted on the photographs obtained. The gamete bundle release started around 22:00 pm on 31 May, 2015 (2 h and 50 min after sunset and 3 days before full moon). Spawning was estimated to continue for < 2 hours. The present study indicates that an underwater camera with a lens wiper system will help elucidate the details of coral spawning.

文化年間刊行の『文苑玉露』は、国学者の交友ぶり、作歌態度などの自照性に富んだもの、消息文などの資料的価値があるもの、未見の序文など文献学的価値の高いもの等、まさに種々混交している和文集である。この作品は学統世界を越境した、一般の読者の期待にも応えるものであった。この世界は四十数年のちの嘉永年間刊行の『遺文集覧』に受け継がれるが、学際的な面白みはあっても、もはや学究的な挑発を楽しむ、越境の期待は充足されないものであった。

西鶴の『本朝桜陰比事』(元禄二)巻三の七「銀遣へとは各別の書置」は、従来より目録副題などから、二十五歳までは自由に銀を遣えと遺言した親父の粋な計らいと、その親父の遺言が正しかったことを判じた御前の名裁判官ぶりがこの章の眼目として扱われてきた。しかし、裁判物という趣向をはずし、町人を素材とした、いわゆる町人物として読んだとき、違った新しい読みが提示できるのではなかろうか。本稿では、それを「相続制度」という視点から読み解いていく。
