漢字圏の外国人日本語学習者は,漢字音の読みにおいて,清音・濁音の区別や母音の長短,促音の有無などに間違いが多く,またそのような間違いは中上級に進んでも残りがちであることが指摘されている。本論文では,その中でも特に学習者からの質問が多い漢字音の促音化の問題に焦点を絞り,どのような場合に促音化が起こるのかを整理する。そして,このような漢字圏学習者の弱点を克服させるためには,どのような漢字の教授法が効果的かについても検討する。Students from kanji background countries tend to retain certain errors such as the distinction between voiceless and voiced consonants, long and short vowels, single and double consonants, etc. in the ON reading of kanji. Kanji that can cause doubling of consonants are taken up particularly for discussion in this paper and the author tries to explain when doubling of consonants occurs. The author also examines ways of teaching such kanji for the students of kanji background.

This paper examines the "ontological gerrymandering" critique and subsequent controversies in the constructionist studies of social problems. After glancing over three kinds of responses to this critique within the constructionist camp, I focus on their coping with the self-referential aspect of the constructionist perspective. Further, I take up political and moral concerns in constructionism. My insistence is that within these concerns one can find one clue to overpass the epistemological and methodological difficulties in constructionism. In conclusion, I address a question of the pragmatic justification in the studies of social problems.

Laughter is a research theme with two-sided nature and it is not easy to establish an all-inclusive theory of laughter, because it tends to depart from real laughter. In this paper, which focuses on laughter in myth and folktale, I have a view of both and try to demonstrate a point of view that is helpful to understanding laughter in the practice of psychotherapy. As a consequence, I obtain mainly three viewpoints for laughter. First, there will be arisen the movement such as sound, vibration or the internal movement in an individual by laughter. Second, it arises in the interaction between this world and another. That laughter can be both the entrance and the exit to these worlds. Third, laughter has a great tendency to make a person move passively without consciousness. So, laughter in psychotherapy sometimes has a chance to move dynamically. On the other hand, we need to consider the possibility that the laughter does force us to move.
