In Japanese, "gentou" (magic lantern, slide, filmstrip) means visual media projecting still images onto screen. In Japan, gentou had first thrived during the Meiji period and revived in the Showa period from war-time to post war 1950s. In both case, gentou had been introduced as "educational media" for school, social and home education, with the recommendation of the Ministry of Education and some authorities of education for the first time. However, since the entering into force of the Treaty of Peace with Japan in 1952, gentou also flourished as grass-roots media within several social movements like labor disputes, anti-basement movements, anti-nuclear movements, and utagoe movement.  In this article, I try to explore the possibility of the independent history of gentou, without subordinating it to the history of other media like cinema, photography, or fine arts. Especially, I would like to focus on the 1950s independent gentou production and screening within social movements. During 1950s, social activists often produced original gentou films for the purpose of documenting and propagating their activities, and tried to establish the public sphere for "the exchange of experiences" through gentou screenings. Analyzing newly found materials like films and scripts of these 1950s grass-roots gentou movements I would like to clarify how these gentou films, with their peculiar characteristics, created sense of "the exchange of experiences" among their audience.

The Act on the Partial Revision of National Referendum Act was enacted at the 186th ordinary session of the Diet, and was enforced on June 20, 2014. By this revision, the minimum age of voting in the referendum regarding constitutional amendment is prescribed at twenty for next four years, and the age will be at eighteen four years later. But the minimum age of voting in public elections, the age of majority in the Civil Code, and the age of application for Juvenile Act are remained at twenty, lowering promptly these ages to eighteen is recognized as an important problem at the point of view of legal uniformity. At the final stage of the 187th extraordinary session of the Diet, the Bill for the Act on the Partial Revision of the Public Offices Election Act (to lower the minimum age of voting) was submitted, but was scrapped due to dissolution of the House of Representatives. Additionally, the problems as to the regulation to organizational campaign by the public officials, expansion of the referendum subjects, methodology of political education and the others are also emerging in relation to NRA system. These remaining problems should be solved legislatively on the wide consensus of political parties, according to the initiative requirement of Article 96 of the Japanese Constitution. It is considered definitely that to solve legislative problems as to NRA on the wide consensus is politically important requirement to lead to the success to the initiative for the amendment to Japanese Constitution by the Diet in future.

[Abstract]Hiragana is separated by line endpoints, line intersections, and curve vertices, the distance between the lines is determined in pixels, and the aspect ratio is determined to determine whether the golden ratio and silver ratio are included. It has been clarified that the golden ratio is included in the ratio of. He also revealed that √2 rectangular diameter called Porte d'Harmonie, which has been considered ideal since ancient times, and √3 rectangular diameter drawn from it are included in Hiragana characters. Furthermore, it was clarified that the ratio of the line length in the hiragana letter shape includes the golden ratio and the silver ratio.

脳と腸は,自律神経系や液性因子(ホルモンやサイトカインなど)を介して密に関連していることが知られている.近年,次世代シーケンサーを用いたメタゲノム解析法の登場により,ヒトの腸内細菌叢の実態が明らかになってきた.このことから,脳と腸だけでなく腸内細菌叢を加えた「脳-腸-腸内細菌叢軸」という概念が提唱され,腸内細菌叢の包括的な解析による中枢神経系疾患の病態メカニズムの解明が期待されている.こうした背景から本稿では,メタゲノム解析とバイオインフォマティクスツールにより,統合失調症患者の腸内細菌叢を包括的に解析したZhuらの論文を紹介する.なお,本稿は下記の文献に基づいて,その研究成果を紹介するものである.1) Zhu F. et al., Nat. 近年、糖尿病患者及び予備軍が増加し続けている。糖尿病管理を行う場合、毎日血糖測定を数回行わなければならない。しかし、現在の血糖測定器は使い捨ての針を用いて採血を行うため、衛生面上の問題だけでなく患者への精神的及び経済的負担が発生している。この問題を解決する非侵襲血糖測定法としてMHC技術がある。MHC技術とは、体内のブドウ糖濃度と人体から放出される熱量の相関を用いて血糖値を予測する技術である。本研究ではMHC技術を用いた非侵襲血糖測定器の開発を行った。そしてEGA法を用いた精度調査により、臨床的に許容できる範囲であることを確認した。また、非侵襲血糖測定器を用いた血糖値管理システムの開発を行った。

指導要領の改訂に伴い高校の生徒達は,小学校理科の「音」で学んだ基礎知識だけで振動・波動現象の理解と定式化に取組まなければならない.このような問題点を軽減する目的で,下端を燐青銅薄板で封じた透明アクリル管にアルミニウム懸濁液を入れ,底部から市販の超音波洗浄器からの振動を伝えることにより定常波の観察が可能であるよう工夫した簡単な実験を行った.定常波の観察から波長を求め,この値と発振器の振動数とをもとにして音速を求めた.本実験により得られた水中での音速は約1448m・sec^<-1>であり,これまで他の方法で求められた値とよく一致することがわかった.さらに音速に影響を与える諸因子についての検討をも行った.本実験は準備が簡単であり,操作・測定も容易であるため,高校物理「振動・波動」に関する演示実験用教具として活用できるものと考えられる.

本研究は日本人男性と結婚する外国人女性の中で,最多の中国人女性について,異文化適応に重要な役割を果たす人間関係作りの実態を考察したい。都市部の状況について,「職場の同僚」,「近隣・地域組織」,「日本語教室の受講者」,「保護者同士」,「母国・日本にいる中国人同士」との関係作りの実態を分析した上で,先行研究で明らかになった農村部の状況と比較分析する。その結果,発生期と変化期において,同じ時期に来日する中国人妻と友人関係を構築したこと,子どもを通じるつながりを持つこと,変化期において,日本語教室は中国人同士が集まる場所であり,女性たちはそこで友人関係を作ることなどの点で共通している。中国人同士との関係作りについて,減少期において,都市部は農村部より多様性を持っていること,近隣・地域組織との関わりについて,どんな時期においても,農村部は都市部より人間関係を築きやすいことなどがわかった。

チョコレートが日本で製造・販売されてから100年になる.日本菓子協会の統計によると,2014年チョコレートの売り上げは和生菓子を抜きトップになった.チョコレートは,それほどわれわれの身近な食品となってきた.このチョコレートの原料であるカカオ豆の学名はギリシャ語でTheobroma Cacaoといい,神々の食べ物と訳される.この名が表すように古くから滋養強壮の高い食べ物として知られており,われわれはカカオに含まれるポリフェノールに着目し20年ほど前から研究を続けてきた.今回はわれわれが行った研究を中心にカカオポリフェノールの機能性について報告させていただく.
