スギ花粉症の多くにヒノキ花粉症を合併するが,スギ花粉症の免疫療法がヒノキ花粉症に効果的とは限らない。【目的】スギ花粉の舌下免疫療法がヒノキ花粉症にも有効かを検討する。【方法】ヒノキ花粉症合併のスギ花粉症に舌下免疫療法を行った55例を対象とした。本検討の舌下免疫療法は季節前季節中投与法で,維持期に週1回(スギ花粉2000JAU)投与である。スギとヒノキ花粉の飛散期に1週間を単位とするくしゃみ,鼻汁,鼻閉の3項目の10cm長のvisual analog scale(VAS)を検討した。スギまたはヒノキ花粉の飛散期で最も悪かったVASを採用した。【結果】スギ花粉期のVASは0cm 11例(20.0%),1cmまで19例(34.5%),2cmまで22例(40.0%)と良好であった。VAS平均ではスギ花粉期(3.6±3.2cm)はヒノキ花粉期(2.6±2.7cm)より大きかったが有意ではなかった。VASがスギ花粉期よりヒノキ花粉期に少しでも悪化した例は20例(36%)であった。スギ花粉に効果的と想定したVAS 2cmまでの22例でヒノキ花粉期のVASをみると,引き続き良好が9例,ごく少し悪化が5例,明らかに悪化が8例であった。ヒノキ花粉期に悪化した例の背景因子に明らかに相関する因子はなかった。【結論】スギ花粉症の舌下免疫療法はヒノキ花粉症に効果的な例と効果不十分の例があった。

Sub endothelial infarcts leads to non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome. Proinflammatory cytokines are raised in serum, the severity of which is a poor prognostic sign. Vitamin D deficiency is prevalent among patients of ACS. Vitamin D has immunomodulatory roles having effects on various aspects of inflammation. A total of 40 patients were divided into experimental (n=20) and control (n=20) groups. Experimental group was given single dose of vitamin D 200,000 IU. They were assessed for baseline C-reactive protein, interleukin-6, tumor necrosis factor-α levels by using sandwich ELISA technique. Four months after intervention resampling was done for the same parameters. Findings were expressed as mean±SD. Independent sample t-test was used to compare effect of vitamin D intervention between control group and intervention group. p-value of ≤0.05 was considered to be significant. The serum C-reactive protein showed significant reduction (p=0.028*) after intervention with vitamin D. Serum interleukin-6 (p=0.848), tumor necrosis factor-α (p=0.20) were decreased non-significantly in experimental as compared to the control group. It was concluded that a single large dose of vitamin D was able to reduce the C-reactive protein in non-ST-elevation acute coronary syndrome patients while non-significant reductions in interleukin-6 and tumor necrosis factor-α were observed.

In an on-going faunal study of deep regions of the East China Sea, using a Remotely-Operated Vehicle (ROV), a single specimen (57.4 mm in standard length: SL) of Epigonus elongatus Parin and Abramov, 1986 was collected at 410 m depth off the west coast of Okinawa Island, Japan. The species has been previously reported only from the type locality in the Farquhar Islands, Western Indian Ocean, the present report being the first of the species from waters adjacent to Japan. The new standard Japanese name “Kogeme-yasemutsu” is proposed for the species, which belongs to the E. pandionis group, and is characterized by the following combination of characters: dorsal-fin rays VII-I, 10; pectoral-fin rays 18–20; gill rakers 22 or 23; vertebrae 10 + 15; pyloric caeca 7–9; pored lateral-line scales 48–50 + 2; pungent opercular spine absent; maxillary mustache-like process absent; lingual teeth absent; a pair of ribs on last abdominal vertebra absent; tubercle on inner symphysis of lower jaw absent; orbital diameter 12.1–13.6% SL; lowerjaw length 13.4–15.1% SL; and body depth 16.4–18.5% SL. An in-situ ROV photograph of E. elongatus from Okinawa Island is provided. The genus Epigonus is represented in Japanese waters by six species including E. elongatus; Epigonus atherinoides (Gilbert, 1905); Epigonus ctenolepis Mochizuki and Shirakihara, 1983; Epigonus denticulatus Dieuzeide, 1950; Epigonus fragilis (Jordan and Jordan, 1922); and Epigonus pectinifer Mayer, 1974.

In recent years, it is clarified that autism spectrum disorder person have special senses, and differ from normal senses. This study is therefore intended to clarify confusion between autism spectrum disorder and building environment.The survey was conducted as follows;1) Analysis of texts written by persons with high functioning autism and Asperger syndrome.2) Interview by documents to some persons with high functioning autism and Asperger syndrome.We can be clarified that autism spectrum disorder persons have various type of confusion and barriers against building environment. And the barriers between autism spectrum disorder and living environment are space planning, shapes, color, quality of materials, lighting, acoustic, heating, air-conditioning.

労働時間と精神的負担との関連についての体系的文献レビュー:藤野善久ほか.産業医科大学公衆衛生学教室―労働環境をとりまく厳しい状況のなか,労働者のストレスやうつ・抑うつなどメンタルヘルス不全が増加していると指摘されている.これに伴い,精神障害等の労災補償に関する請求件数,認定件数ともに著しい増加傾向にある.労働時間,対人関係,職場における支援,報酬などは労働者のメンタルヘルスに影響を与える要因と考えられている.平成16年には厚生労働省が「過重労働・メンタルヘルス対策の在り方に係る検討会」報告書を発表し,長時間の時間外労働を行ったことを一つの基準として対象者を選定し,メンタルヘルス面でのチェックを行う仕組みをつくることを推奨した.しかしながら,上で示されたメンタルヘルス対策としての長時間労働の基準は,企業・産業保健現場での実践性を考慮したものであり,労働時間と精神的負担との関連についての科学的な確証は十分に得られていない.一方で,労働時間が様々な労働環境要因,職業ストレス要因と関連して労働者の精神的負担やメンタルヘルスに影響を与えることは,過去の研究からも合理的に解釈できる.そこで本調査では,労働時間とうつ・抑うつなどの精神的負担との関連を検討した文献の体系的レビューを行い,労働時間と精神的負担の関連についての疫学的エビデンスを整理することを目的とした.PubMedを用いて131編の論文について検討を実施した.労働時間と精神的負担に関して検討した原著論文が131編のうち17編確認された(縦断研究10編,断面研究7編).それらのレビューの結果,精神的負担の指標との関連を報告した文献が7編であった.また,労働時間の評価に様々な定義が用いられており,研究間の比較を困難にしていた.今回のレビューの結果,労働時間とうつ・抑うつなどの精神的負担との関連について,一致した結果は認められなかった.
