本稿は,1983年末に中国で展開されたブルジョア精神汚染批判キャンペーンを,特にメディアを中心に考察したものである。胡喬木と胡績偉との間に「党性」「人民性」をめぐる論争が交わされ,メディアが「党の口舌」として世論をコントロールするのか,「人民の口舌」として世論による監督機能を果たすのかが争われた。この時期は中国共産党内においても保守派,改革派の間でメディア政策が揺れ動いていた。現在までのメディア統制を視野に入れた場合,この運動は党がメディア統制を構築する重要な過程となったと言える。そして「党性」「人民性」の問題は,メディアの監督者が誰であるべきかという点で,今日の中国においてもなお検討されるべき課題となっている。

英語文学を代表するカナダの女性作家Margaret Atwood(1939~)の初期作品を取り上げる。間テクスト性に満ち、あらゆる慣習からの逸脱志向を見せるLady Oracle(1976)は、現代批評の格好のテクストとして研究されてきた。本論は、21世紀を迎えた読者の眼に映る、20世紀中葉カナダの文化的側面に注目する。主人公の語り手が、子供時代の母親との確執、叔母と過ごした時間、父親不在の家庭について語るとき、作者は1950年代のカナダ社会を反映する価値観を示唆している。独り立ちしたヒロインが、出会った男たちとの経緯を語るプロセスでは、ヨーロッパの伝統文化との対比で、カナダ性が立ち現われてくる。さらにコスチューム・ゴシック作家から新進気鋭の詩人へと進化するヒロイン自身の姿は、1960年代から70年代にかけての文化事情を反映している。遅咲きのカナダ文学の歴史において、LadyOracleは、辺境カナダの文学を担う作家が、主流文化を揶揄しつつ、カナダ性をちりばめた、文化の万華鏡なのではないか。Margaret Atwood (1939-) has established herself as a world-class novelist receiving 'The Man Booker Prize for Fiction' in 2000. Lady Oracle (1976) is her third novel whose 'Intertextuality' and 'indeterminacy of meaning' have tempted many to discuss the earlier work as a fair game for modern literary criticism. This article explores its cultural aspects in mid-20th century Canada which attract our interest in retrospect. The author implies the sense of value shared by 1950s when the narrator-heroine tells about her conflict with her mother, time spent with her aunt and absence of her father from home in her childhood. Her association with men she met as a woman in Europe mirrors Canadianism in contrast with traditional Western culture. The evolution of the heroin from a Costume Gothic writer to a rising poet images the cultural background of Canada from 1960s to 70s. In mid 1970s when Atwood wrote Lady Oracle, Canadian Literature had yet been unrecognized national literature. The novel was indeed a challenging attempt by a promising woman writer from the culturally developing country to present a kaleidoscope, pieces of which illustrate cultural aspects of Canada while parodying all kinds of conventions and traditional values.

幕末における出生率上昇,人口増加は,低階層ほど多い(就業に伴う)移動が減少することによりその出生率と家の再生産率が上昇することによってもたらされたとの予想のもとに,幕末石見銀山領における階層別の移動率を観察し,その高さが,10石以上層を別として,階層の高さに反比例することを示すことができた。同時に,家族を残した就業に関わる移動と考えられる出職という記載が宗門改帳にわずかに発見されたが,この記載は,幕末の緊迫した情勢によって一部の村で例外的に行われたものと考えられ,出職の多くは,一度,転出(出人)と記載されたあと,村内の宗門改帳から除外されたと考えられる。この宗門改帳上不在の家成員は,1年に何度か帰宅することがあったとしても,出職が結婚している者の結婚生活にとってさまたげになり,あるいは未婚者の結婚年齢を遅くし,その結果,家の再生産率を低下させ,その階層差を生み出す重要な原因と考えられる。同時に,宗門改帳による在村人口のみによって計算した結婚率や出生率は出職者を多く含む階層では見かけ上やや高くなるものといえる。このことから,1石未満層に比べ無高層の家再生産率は低いにもかかわらず,結婚率と出生率は高くなったものと考えられる。13;

新幹線に乗り込み、座席に座るやいなや、技術評論家の唐津一は原稿用紙をアタッシェケースから取り出し、そのアタッシェケースを机代わりに膝ひざの上に置いて原稿を書き始めた。執筆の速度はとても速い。東京を出発して名古屋に到着するまでの2時間弱で、原稿用紙4、5枚は書き上げていた。

近年,様々な家族構成がある中で,核家族化が進み,1人で子育てをしていると感じる母親が増えている.このような子育てにおける不安やストレスから育児ノイローゼとなり,最悪の場合には子供を虐待してしまうケースがおる.現在,地域毎に子育て支援を行っているがまだまだ十分とは言えない.そこで本研究では,多くの母親が感じている睡眠不足の問題に着目する.母親の睡眠不足の原因は,乳児の夜泣きによるもので,なかなか寝付かない,寝てもすぐ起きるなど乳児によって様々である.そこで,乳児の睡眠リズムを把握し管理または改善するために睡眠を中心としたライフログを可視化し,母親の安心感の増加やQOLの向上を目指す.

Cytopathogenic (cp) bovine viral diarrhea virus (BVDV) strain KS86-1cp was isolated from a cow persistently infected with non-cytopathogenic (ncp) BVDV strain KS86-1ncp after development of mucosal disease by superinfection with cp BVDV strain Nose. cp BVDV strains 799cp and 839cp were also isolated from independent cattle that developed mucosal disease by superinfection with cp BVDV KS86-1cp. In the present study, genetic analysis revealed that the genes of cp BVDV strains 799cp and 839cp were chimeras between the genes of the persisting ncp BVDVs and that of superinfecting KS86-1cp. The genetic recombination that generates 799cp occurred between the identical points in the Npro gene region, whereas genetic recombination that generates 839cp occurred between different points in the Npro gene region. Both 799cp and 839cp were inherited Jiv gene of KS86-1cp strain and envelope protein genes of the persisting viruses. In addition, neutralization test disclosed that antigenicities of 799cp, 839cp, and KS86-1cp were also similar to each persisting virus. These findings indicate that exogenous cp BVDV containing insertion of Jiv gene in the 5 terminal region can induce genetic recombination with the original ncp BVDV at different points in the Npro gene region, and those viruses have high potential to change those antigenicities and pathogenicities by RNA recombination.

Simple and rapid determination of phosphorus in sediment was studied by graphite furnace (GF) AAS using a phosphorus hollow cathode lamp (P-HCL). A Zr-treated graphite tube was used for GF. For each analytical procedure a 20 mm^3 of 1% Zr solution was injected into the graphite tube and then a 10 mm^3 of sample solution containing P was injected. Digestion procedure was as follows : The sediment sample of 0.2 g was decomposed with HNO_3-HClO_4-HF, then the digest was evaporated to dryness. The residue was dissolved with 3 cm^3 6 M HCl, and diluted to 50 cm^3, and P was determined by GF-AAS. All the values obtained by the proposed method agree well with the reference value (Pond sediment, NIES No. 2) and those by Molybdenum Blue spectrometry (River sediment and Submarine sediment).
