本研究では,キャリア教育における主体と自己に関する概念整理をおこない,教育実践上の課題について検討した。OECD 2030プロジェクトにおけるエージェンシーの概念にはラーニング・コンパスが目指すウェルビーイングに向かう方向性が見出され,学習指導要領における主体には一元的な自己観が反映されていた。教育哲学,心理学,社会学における主体や自己の概念には,関係性や公共性との関連付けや,多元的かつ構成的な性質が確認された。これらの概念を整理した枠組みを提案し,キャリア教育の実践上の課題について検討した。

The causal relationship between the number of failing subjects on an exam and each subject were analyzed by means of structural equation modeling (SEM). The data used were the results of the first semester final examinations of sophomore belonging to the Department of Information, Communication and Electronic Engineering of Kumamoto National College of Technology. Since these data provide unsuitable solution, a stepwise method was applied to extract four subjects that affect the number of failing subjects. These subjects are mathematics, physics, computer engineering and engineering practice, which are the base of science and engineering. I also determined the number of latent variables by means of scree plots and dendrograms. Then I propose a causal model in which one latent variables behind the four subjects affect the number of failing subjects. The lavaan package on R was used to apply the SEM. From the goodness-of-fit indices, it was found that the model explained well the causal relationship related to the number of failing subjects.

一般的な織物および難燃性織物の燃焼性について検討した.1) 難燃加工を施した天然繊維織物の防災性は, 合繊混用の難燃加工交織物より優れている.2) 合繊および天然繊維を混用した交織物の難燃加工では, 加工液濃度を標準濃度より低減することができる.3) 交織物の燃焼性は, 燃焼角度や燃焼方向により異なる場合がある.4) 難燃ポリエステルはフエノール繊維と燃焼挙動が異なるため, 防災性も著しく異なる.5) 衣服の防災性は接炎, 可燃物の付着, 熱伝達など総合的見地から判断されなければならない.

これまで長い間、料理本は歴史や文学の研究対象になるジャンルだとは見なされてこなかったが、最近ではアメリカ文化の形成を明らかにするのに有用な、文化的社会的な価値をもつ「生きたドキュメント」と考えられるようになっている。本稿では南北戦争以前に最も人気のあった料理本作家だったEliza Leslie (1787-1858)とSarah Josepha Hale (1788-1879)を取り上げ、その代表的なクック・ブックを読み解くことによって、著者たちがクッキングという狭い私的な領域に留まることなく、より大きな文化や思想の世界と深く関わろうとしていたという事実に光を当てる。Directions for Cookery (1837)においてLeslieが徹底的に「質」にこだわったレシピを並べているのは、それが中産階級の裕福な女性たち向けに書かれた料理本だったからだが、新しく台頭した中産階級の人々のために理想の料理を提供しようとした彼女は、正確に食材を計量する料理法が誰でも同じ料理を作ることを可能にすると主張し、アメリカ中産階級の確立という公的な仕事に貢献したのだった。他方、Haleはこれまで保守的な男女の領域分離主義者と評されてきたが、Early American Cookery: "The Good Housekeeper" (1839) における彼女は、男性にふさわしいと考えられていた科学を料理に取り入れることを強調し、公立学校における女子教育の重要性を力説しているが、こうしたラディカルな考えは「ハウスキーパー」を育てるための料理本にすぎないという彼女のレトリックによって巧みにカムフラージュされている。これらの料理本は、いずれも家事、料理という私的な世界に関する助言書にほかならないが、著者の Leslie と Hale は19世紀アメリカの女性たちに押し付けられていた「女性の居場所は家庭」というドメスティック・イデオロギーを逆に利用することによって、家庭性に潜む政治性を女性読者に伝えようとする、きわめてポリティカルな活動家たちだった、と結論できる。

本報では,ガソリンに灯油や軽油といった揮発性の低い燃料油が混合された場合の蒸発拡散挙動を予測することを目的とする。低揮発性燃料油が混合されたガソリンが蒸発した場合には,より蒸気圧の高いガソリン成分のみが蒸発すると仮定し,混合ガソリンの蒸気圧及び蒸発速度の予測モデルを提案し,その適用範囲を明らかにした。また,混合ガソリンの床面散布時における蒸気濃度分布の予測モデルを導出した。さらに,床面散布した20 mass% 軽油混合ガソリンから発生する蒸気に対する着火実験を行ったところ,実験結果は着火予測とよく一致し,提案した予測モデルにより,灯油あるいは軽油が混合したガソリンが床面に散布された場合における着火危険性を予測できることが明らかとなった。

As has been pointed out by Chakraborty et al (Seeing the invisible: around generalized Kubert functions. Ann. Univ. Sci. Budapest. Sect. Comput. 47 (2018), 185-195), there have appeared many instances in which only the imaginary part—the odd part—of the Lerch zeta-function was considered by eliminating the real part. In this paper we shall make full use of (the boundary function aspect of) the q-expansion for the Lerch zeta-function, the boundary function being in the sense of Wintner (On Riemann's fragment concerning elliptic modular functions. Amer. J. Math. 63 (1941), 628-634). We may thus refer to this as the ‘Fourier series-boundary q-series', and we shall show that the decisive result of Yamamoto (Dirichlet series with periodic coefficients. Algebraic Number Theory. Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Tokyo, 1977, pp. 275-289) on short character sums is its natural consequence. We shall also elucidate the aspect of generalized Euler constants as Laurent coefficients after a brief introduction of the discrete Fourier transform. These are rather remote consequences of the modular relation, i.e. the functional equation for the Lerch zeta-function or the polylogarithm function. That such a remote-looking subject as short character sums is, in the long run, also a consequence of the functional equation indicates the ubiquity and omnipotence of the Lerch zeta-function—and, a fortiori, the modular relation(S. Kanemitsu and H. Tsukada. Contributions to the Theory of Zeta-Functions: the Modular Relation Supremacy. World Scientific, Singapore, 2014).
