The selling and buying system in California can be divided into two processes. The first process is the process to make an agreement to purchase and the second is to verify the agreement and execute the contract. Throughout these processes, various professionals such as real estate agent, inspector,appraiser, the title insurance company, escrow company serve to both the seller 's side and buyer 's side. Almost of all the information is investigated and given by the real estate company in Japan, but the divisions of professional roles are established in CA. The accumulation of Information in both private and public sectors contribute to speed up the survey. The information disclosure about living environment like TDS is the legal duty not ylno fo the seller but also on the seller ’ s agent. The division of professional roles and the accumulation of information may support the real estate company to survey and disclose more useful information and fasten the transaction.

We developed a robot user interface where the robot controller's motions were reflected in the motions of certain characters appearing on a computer display. We then conducted a simple experiment to investigate the effectiveness of this interface system to see whether users felt that this controller was enjoyable. We also conducted several user experiments that investigated the effectiveness of the appearance and material of this interface.

This paper provides an overview of the outline and current status of automated driving (AD) technology, and presents possible future issues for ELSI of that.First, an overview of AD, the background for social implementation, the aims, and the current status of social implementation is presented.Next, two reports on the ethics of AD published in Europe are introduced.Based on the above, several future issues are presented. First, I review the "E," "L," and "S" aspects of AD on responsibilities in an accident. Then, I hold that it is necessary not only to make adjustments for the acceptance of AD into society, but also to consider the necessity of its acceptance. Furthermore, I hold that the ELSI study of AD will lead to a reexamination of the automobile transportation system. Finally, I introduce a research project in Japan that are working on the ELSI of AD.

内視鏡検査前処置剤として使用されるグルカゴンの糖尿病患者における安全性を検討する目的で,糖尿病患者33例を対象にグルカゴン投与の血糖値と血中総ケトン体に及ぼす影響および胃蠕動抑制効果について検討した.グルカゴン1mg筋注後血糖値は60から120分で最高血糖値(頂値)に達した.頂値,血糖上昇度は食事療法群(6例),経口血糖降下剤群(19例),インスリン群(8例)の順で高い傾向を示した,頂値の最大は340mg/d1,上昇度の最大は138mg/dlであった.前値150mg/dl以上の症例における血糖上昇率は134%~178%であった.血中総ケトン体は経口血糖降下剤群とインスリン群で低下傾向を示した.グルカゴン1mg筋注10分後の蠕動消失率は約7割であった.以上より,糖尿病患者においても"fair"controlの範囲内であれば,グルカゴン注射によって,高血糖性昏睡等の急性合併症をおこす可能性は少なく,グルカゴンは前処置剤として安全に使用できると思われた.

In general, it is not always easy for people to communicate each other comprehensively by limited information media. In such a case, employment of another information medium is very helpful and therefore cross-media translation is very important during such a communication. This paper presents the method and experiment of cross-media translation based on MIDST(Mental Image Directed Semantic Theory), where natural language texts about static positional relations of physical objects are systematically interpreted into 2-D pictures.

被験者に漫才, CM, 落語の5演目ずつをビデオでみせ, その印象を28対の形容詞対により評定させ, 結果を主成分分析法および重回帰分析法によって解析した. 主成分分析の結果, (1) 直感的↔論理的因子, (2) きらい↔好き因子, (3) 攻撃的↔平和的因子, (4) リズミカルでなさ↔リズミカル因子, (5) しぶさ↔若々しさ因子, (6) あっさり↔しつこい因子が得られ, 累積寄与率は83%となった.落語は論理的で平和的であり, 漫才は攻撃的, CMは直感的といえる. 次に, これらの6主成分得点を独立変数に,“おかしくなさ”を従属変数とする重回帰式を導いてみたところ, 落語では直感的で, 好きで, 平和的であるほどおかしく, CMでは直感的で, 好きで, 攻撃的あるほどおかしいとなり, 寄与率は94~99%であった.
