Web-based knowledge-sharing communities, which are supported by countless voluntary Internet users, are in widespread use today. We explored a number of characteristics of interpersonal communication among participants based on their questioning and answering behaviors. A questionnaire survey on participants of Yahoo! Chiebukuro, one of the most popular knowledge-sharing communities in Japan, was conducted, and access data of their behavior in the community were collected. Based on 7,989 survey samples and access data, we found that there were several significant differences in their behavior and motivation based on their participation style, question content, and gender. Results also suggested that information was exchanged and accumulated actively in the community and interpersonal communication of community participants was developed by an aggressive need for information acquisition and subsequent social support.

明治 9 (1876 )年 1 月に,大阪で発行された,オランダ医師エルメレンス(Christian Jacob Ermerins:亞爾蔑聯斯または越尓蔑嗹斯と記す,1841-1879)による講義録,『日講記聞 原病學各論 巻十一』の原文の一部を紹介し,その全現代語訳文と術語(語句)の解説を加え,また,一部では,歴史的および時代背景についても言及した.本編では,『原病學各論 巻十一』の「泌尿器病編」の最終部分である「第三 腎盂輸尿管及膀胱諸病」の中の「膀胱結石」,「遺尿」,「膀胱麻痺」,「膀胱痙攣」と,追加されている「男子生殖器病(遺精,交接無力)」との部分を取り上げる.各疾患の病態生理や症候論の部分は詳細に記されているが,病因論は明瞭でなく,また,治療法は内科的対症療法がその主流であり,使用されている薬剤も限られている.しかし,この書物は,わが国近代医学のあけぼのの時代の医学の教科書である.

本研究では,「SOSの出し方」について子どもたちに考えてもらうことを目指し,分岐と選択を取り入れた動画教材と,その教材を用いた授業プログラムの開発を試みた。公立A中学校2年生143名に授業を実施した結果,動画教材や授業内容についての評価を求めた事後アンケート,悩みや不安を抱えた時の意識を問うた事前・事後アンケートなどの多くの項目において肯定的な結果が得られた。今後は,話し合いのプロセスの詳しい分析などを行い,授業プログラムの有効性の検証と改善を重ねる必要がある。

韓国の公的扶助制度の大きな改革は、2000 年施行の国民基礎生活保障法であった。扶助の種類など日本の生活保護法と類似する点も多い制度であるが、改正を繰り返して2015 年にはそれまでのパッケージ方式の給付から各扶助の個別給付への大きな転換も果たしている。 その中で、国民基礎生活保障法の対象である生活困窮者を経済的理由等で文化芸術に触れる機会が少ない文化疎外階層と呼び、その人々の文化的な生活を送ることを支援することを目的に文化利用券制度が2004 年から展開されてきた。2017 年現在その文化利用券は「文化ヌリカード」として発行され、生活困窮者160 万人以上が利用している。 本論では文化利用券制度の概要と展開を明らかにして、日本の生活困窮者対策に示唆できることを検討する。

Lachrymatory factor synthase (LFS), an enzyme essential for the synthesis of the onion lachrymatory factor (propanethial S-oxide), was identified in 2002. This was the first reported enzyme involved in the production of thioaldehyde S-oxides via an intra-molecular H+ substitution reaction, and we therefore attempted to identify the catalytic amino acid residues of LFS as the first step in elucidating the unique catalytic reaction mechanism of this enzyme. A comparison of the LFS cDNA sequences among lachrymatory Allium plants, a deletion analysis and site-directed mutagenesis enabled us to identify two amino acids (Arg71 and Glu88) that were indispensable to the LFS activity. Homology modeling was performed for LFS/23–169 on the basis of the template structure of a pyrabactin resistance 1-like protein (PYL) which had been selected from a BLASTP search on SWISS-MODEL against LFS/23–169. We identified in the modeled structure of LFS a pocket corresponding to the ligand-binding site in PYL, and Arg71 and Glu88 were located in this pocket.

目的:岩手県北地域には、砕いた豆腐を加えて打つ“そば切り”(以下“そば”と記す)が伝わっている。このそばには、現在一般的につなぎとして加えられている小麦粉ややまのいもといったものは入れられず、打つときに鶏卵が加えられることがあるが、なければ豆腐と熱湯だけで打たれるそばである。この豆腐の役割はつなぎと考えられるが、現在、豆腐をそばのつなぎとして用いる例は全国的にも珍しいものであり、実際の効果についての報告は見られない。そこで、豆腐がそばのつなぎとして果たす役割を調べることを目的として実験をおこなった。方法:そば粉にペースト状にした木綿豆腐、豆乳、および豆腐とにがりを、それぞれの量を変えて水と共に添加し、容器法により水回しをおこない生地を調製した。生地を薄く延ばし、一定の厚さ、大きさに整え所定の時間茹で、流水で冷却した。生および加熱後の生地のテクスチャーを測定し、豆腐、豆乳、にがり、加熱時間が生地の物性におよぼす影響を調べた。結果:豆腐および豆乳には加熱後のそばの硬さを増加させ、そばを切れにくくさせる効果が認められた。にがり添加量は、豆乳によるつなぎ効果に影響を与えた。茹で時間により硬さは減少した。豆腐および豆乳の添加は加熱後におけるそばの水の吸収に影響を与えた。

The purpose of this article is to report how affective factors including anxiety, self-confidence, risk-taking and inhibition change and how Willingness to Communicate in Japanese outside the classroom is affected by those factors while studying in Japan. The data was collected by interview and questionnaires to two advanced learners and analyzed by qualitative data analysis method. The results show that opportunities to perceive language competence, experiences of communication, features and participants of communication, and learnersʼ beliefs affect Willingness to Communicate. Successful communication enhance self-confidence and decrease language-use anxiety. Self-confidence influences Willingness to Communicate with significant others in the target language society. Experiences of failures in communication causes language use anxiety and decrease Willingness to Communicate with others. Conditions of communication also impacts their willingness to communicate, especially with significant others in the target community. The implication of the findings suggests Willingness to Communicate is concerned with the desire to establish a relationship with others as a member of the target community.
