本稿では,家電の状態や電力を計測する「スマートタップ」とホームサーバから構成する「スマートタップネットワーク」を用いた家電の電力見える化システムと,見える化システムを実装したスマートマンションルームにおけるエコ生活実証実験について述べる.本システムでは,家庭内の全ての家電や照明の消費電力を個別に計測し,リビングのテレビとゲーム機を用いたインターフェースによって居住者にリアルタイムに提示することで,消費電力を見える化し節電を促すことができる.また,各スマートタップは家電認識機能を実装し,あらかじめ家電を接続する場所を固定しなくても,どこでどの家電を利用したかを自動で判別し,家電ごとの電力使用量を計測することができる.提案する見える化システムをマンションの一室に実装し,実際に生活して本システムの効果を実証した.This paper describes electorical power visualization system based on smart tap network. The smart tap network is an electrical power sensing and control network constructed by from Smart Taps (intelligent outlet with voltage/current sensor, signal processor and wireless communication ). Our system monitor the power consumption for all appliances in a home and promotes saving electricity for the user. The function of appliances recognition is implemented on the smart-taps. We introduce the smart-tap netowrk and visualization system to the apartment room and eveluate effectiveness of our system by real-life experiments.

It is well known that Gertrude Stein's intelligent playfulness towards breaking the literary conventions that had been established traditional syntax and punctuation, led to a close relationship between literature and painting as she pursued creating her own style. Stein always claimed that Cezanne and, especially, Picasso had the greatest influence on her writing, saying that she was doing in writing what Picasso at the time was doing in painting. Stein's creative works-novels, prose poems, the body of short works called 'portraits,' and operas - were, as a result, products that mainly came from an aesthetic desire for abstraction. But when Stein expressed "landscape" in the real world, she put a special emphasis on 'realistic impressionism.' The purpose of this paper is to search for Stein's space of words, "anti-context," through the clue to "landscape" from especially 'The Good Anna' and 'Melanctha' in Three Lives (1909), Tender Buttons (1914), Lucy Church Amiably (1930) and Four Saints in Three Acts (1934). The style of 'The Good Anna' is a realistic expression of the American South's landscape on the model of Gustave Flaubert. But there is a clearly stylistic distinctiveness between 'The Good Anna' and 'Melanctha.' The former is typical of novel based on ninteenth century's realism while the latter indicates that Stein consciously began to make further simplification in words or phrases, and fragmentally represented bits of all things in landscape. Beginning with the prose poem, Tender Buttons, Stein consciously enhanced an eccentric tendency of the irrational combination of words and phrases. When we try to appreciate this poem by viewpoints of the conception of language as a rational means of conveying thought, the meanings of each word become very obscure and mostly meaningless. Stein's literary experimentations might be seen as washing off the dust from a language which accumulated with the stale usage of words in traditional conventions. As for Stein, the rose is not necessarily red. In a way, Tender Buttons represents the final stage of development towards abstraction in words. But Stein's attitude towards the fragmentation of words was delicately changed in the 1920's. A romantic novel, Lucy Church Amiably attains a lyrical beauty that had never appeared before in her writing, and which is compared in popular criticism to Greek romance, Daphne and Chloe. This pastoral novel demonstrates that Stein started to express rather realistically the objects such as the earth, the air, trees, birds and so forth. Unexpectedly, they appear as clearly impressionistic images which make up a part of "landscape" in the foundation of 'anti-context.' Finally, Stein wrote an anti-opera, Four Saints in Three Acts, where the characters, Saint Therese and Saint Ignatius are presented neither plot nor story. In one scene, Saint Ignatius sings a famous aria, "the pigeons on the grass alas and the magpie in the sky on the sky," that lays his heart bare as he becomes deeply moved to see the Holy Spirit, in particular, "magpie." The image of "magpie" is represented two-dimentionally in Stein's verbal landscape like Georgia O'Keeffe's painting titled A Blackbird with Snow-covered Red Hills (1946). What Stein did in this librette was not to recognize simply realistic "magpie" but to reorganize it into a purely formed design. As a result, this aria contains considerable beauty with which Stein revivified sacredly vital qualities of words, transforming them from merely secular cliches.

はじめに 団塊の世代が90歳台に入る2040年にかけて,85歳以上高齢者(以下,超高齢者)が急増する.超高齢者は,他の年齢層に比べ,医療や介護,生活支援に対するニーズが高い.また,入院や死亡に対するリスクも高い.さまざまな環境の変化の影響も受けやすく,状態変化も来しやすい.生活上の課題も多領域にわたるため,単一職種だけでは課題が解決できないことも多い.これら特性,特徴を有する超高齢者が,住み慣れた地域で,安全かつ安心な生活を送るためには,医療・介護・生活支援サービスの包括的提供体制の構築と多職種間の連携強化が必要となる.こうした背景のもと,厚生労働省は,さまざまな多職種連携策を推進しているが,これら施策の意図や内容を理解するためには,まずその背景を理解しておく必要がある. そこで,多職種連携が求められる背景について,人口構造の変化,高齢者の医療・介護ニーズの視点から整理を行う.次に,多職種連携の機能強化に関する制度改正/報酬改定のなかから,リハビリテーションに関する3つのテーマ(① 入退院・退所時の連携強化,② 入院中〜退院後の一貫したリハビリテーション提供の促進(同一職種間の縦の連携強化),③ 自立支援・重度化防止の推進)に焦点を当て,リハビリテーションの視点からみた制度改正/報酬改定のポイントとリハビリテーション職に期待される役割について解説する.最後に,同一職種および他の職種間との連携強化策について私見を述べる.

網膜静脈閉塞症(retinal vein occlusion:RVO)は,糖尿病網膜症についで罹患率の高い網膜血管病変であり,高血圧,糖尿病,高脂血症などが原因で網膜静脈が閉塞されることによって引き起こされる.浮腫や無灌流領域の形成が頻発し,これらの病態の進行は視機能の悪化と密接に関わっていることから,臨床においても重要視されている.薬物治療法として抗血管内皮増殖因子(vascular endothelial growth factor:VEGF)抗体が使用されているが,浮腫や無灌流領域の形成などRVOの病態機序は不明であるため,抗VEGF抗体に対して反応性が低い患者や投与により症状が改善した場合でも再発を繰り返す患者が存在する等の問題が指摘されている.したがって,RVO病態機序の解明による抗VEGF抗体の最適な治療タイミングの判断や新たな作用機序を有した治療薬の開発が望まれている.臨床研究では患者背景が異なるため,抗VEGF抗体の作用検討や新規治療薬の開発は困難であり,臨床と酷似した病態を有するRVOモデルの作製が必要である.これまで,RVOモデルの作製に関して研究が行われているが,RVOの特徴的な病態である嚢胞状の浮腫を再現し抗VEGF抗体の治療効果を検討した動物モデルは報告がない.したがって,RVOの病態解明や新規治療薬の探索を行うためには,臨床病態をできる限り正確に反映した動物モデルが必要である.本稿では,マウスを用いたRVOモデルの作製法並びにその評価法について紹介する.さらに,RVOの治療薬として使用されている抗VEGF抗体及びカリジノゲナーゼの効果についても紹介する.

<p>The head-mounted displays (HMD) allow people to enjoy immersive VR experience. A virtual avatar can be the representative of a user in the virtual environment. However, the expression of the virtual avatar with a HMD user is constrained. A major problem of wearing an HMD is that a large portion of one's face is occluded, making facial recognition difficult in an HMD-based virtual environment. To overcome this problem, we propose a facial expression mapping technology using retro-reflective photoelectric sensors. The sensors attached inside the HMD measures the distance between sensors and a face. The distance values of five basic facial expressions (Neutral, Happy, Angry, Surprised, and Sad) are used for training the neural network to estimate the facial expression of a user. Our system can also reproduce facial expression change in real-time through an existing avatar by using regression.</p>

While decadal variability and predictability in the North Atlantic and North Pacific have received considerable attention, there has been less work on decadal variability and predictability in the Southern Ocean. As shown previously, a coherent mode of decadal to centennial variability exists in multiple climate models. The mechanism involves a multidecadal accumulation of heat in the subsurface of the Southern Ocean, which is then rapidly discharged through intense oceanic convection when the accumulation of subsurface heat reduces the stratification of the water column. The release of this accumulated subsurface heat can have considerable regional scale climatic impacts, along with substantial impacts on ocean heat uptake. Using a large suite of perfect predictability experiments, in concert with long control simulations, we show that this variability has a high degree of predictability. We present further results that show this type of variability may play an important role for interpreting recently observed trends of sea ice and temperature in the Southern Ocean. Specifically, observed trends over the last several decades resemble a particular phase of this variability in which reduced oceanic convection leads to subsurface warming and surface cooling, with associated increases in sea ice extent. This phase of natural variability may substantially contribute to observed decadal trends, working in concert with other factors.

我々はミリメートル~サブミリメートルサイズの小型機械形状を高精度に測定する,微細形状計測装置を開発している.本装置は形状精度や真円度を総合的に計測するため多軸を持つが,計測システムの精度保証のためには各軸の平行度・直交度の精度評価が重要となる.本研究ではマスターボールと変位センサからなる装置主軸の回転中心測定システムを用いて,回転主軸と直進軸の平行度を高精度に求める手法を提案する.

5軸マシニングセンタの運動精度検査方法が規格化されようとしている。規格に取り上げられた装置として、3つの変位センサを組み合わせたR-test装置が注目されている。本研究では、3つのセンサを設置する方向や場所を変えたり、マスターボールの大きさを変えたり、さまざまな試みを行った。実際に5軸マシニングセンタを対象として測定を行い、結果を比較したので報告する。

歯形測定機の精度を2個のマスタボールを用いてnmオーダで校正する研究開発を行っている。この場合、ボール中心間距離の測定不確かさは100nm以下であることが要求される。この目的には、三次元測定機が一般的に用いられるが、測定精度が十分でなく、測定点数には限りがあり、ボールの形状偏差が大きな不確かさ要因となる。そこで、ボールの形状を連続的に測定し、形状偏差の影響を受けにくいボール中心間距離測定装置を開発した。

近年,クラウドサービスの一つとして,ユーザに仮想マシン(VM)を提供する IaaS 型クラウドが普及している.それに伴い,大容量のメモリを持つ VM が提供されるようになってきている.このような VM のマイグレーションを容易にするために,VM のメモリを複数の小さなホストに分割して転送する分割マイグレーションが提案されている.分割マイグレーション後にはリモートページングを行って VM が必要とするメモリをホスト間で転送する.しかし,従来のリモートページングでは必要とされたメモリの中に使用中のデータがなかったとしても転送を行う必要があった.本稿では,未使用メモリに関連するオーバヘッドを削減することで複数ホストにまたがる VM の高速化を実現するシステム FCtrans を提案する.FCtrans は VM の起動時から未使用メモリを追跡し,分割マイグレーション後も追跡を続ける.この情報を用いて,マイグレーション時には移送先ホストに未使用メモリを転送しないようにする.そして,分割マイグレーション後には未使用メモリに対してリモートページングを行わないようにし,未使用メモリにアクセスした VM の実行を即座に再開する.OS が解放したメモリページも未使用メモリとして扱えるように,VM の外から OS のページ管理情報を取得する.FCtrans を KVM に実装し,従来手法と性能を比較する実験を行った.

メモリは外的要因によるビットフリップやモジュールの故障により保存したデータが呼び出せなくなることがある.特に In-Memory Key-Value Store(In-Memory KVS)はメモリを大量に使用するのでメモリページのエラーに遭遇する可能性が高いアプリケーションの一つである.しかし,In-Memory KVS はメモリ上に全ての key-value を展開しており,再起動にかかるコストが高い.既存研究では ECC などの誤り訂正符号を用いたエラーの回復を行っているが,広範囲に渡るメモリのエラーには対応できていない.本論文では,メモリに部分的な故障が生じたとしても,In-Memory KVS を継続して稼働可能にする手法を提案する.提案手法では OS Kernel と In-Memory KVS を連携させ,メモリページのエラー発生時に破損ページに保存されていたデータオブジェクトの回復処理を行い,動作を継続させる.本研究では Linux Kernel 4.13.9 と memcached 1.4.39 に提案手法の実装を行った.評価実験を行い,メモリエラー発生時でも約 3 秒のダウンタイムでスループットの劣化無しに動作が継続することを確認した.

不揮発性メモリのアクセス速度が速くなっている.そこで,揮発性メモリと不揮発性メモリが混載された計算機を想定し,プログラム実行を高速化する手法として,新たな実行プログラムのファイル形式(OFF2F: Object File Format consisting of 2 Files)を提案した.OFF2F は,プログラムをメモリ上で実行するときのアクセス形態に着目し,2 つのファイルからなる実行ファイル形式である.本稿では,混載環境として,揮発性メモリのみを搭載した計算機で不揮発性メモリを擬似的に実現する手法を述べる.また,この擬似不揮発性メモリを用いて,OFF2F プログラムを実行する方式を述べる.
