高速VTRシステムを用い, 顔面の運動経路を3次元解析した.画像処理装置によるオートトラッキングを行うための標点を作製し, 被検者顔面皮膚上に皮膚用粘着材で貼布した.被検者は, 上下顎無歯顎者3名, 被検音は, 短文「桜の花が咲きました」である.計測部位として, 鼻下点, 上口唇赤唇部上縁, 下口唇赤唇部下縁, モダイオラス部, オトガイおよび切歯点として下顎義歯の中切歯唇面からワイヤーを口腔外へ延長し, 標点を設けた.発音中の被検者の顔面正面と側貌を2台の高速テレビカメラ (nac社製) により高速ビデオカセットレコーダー (nac社製) で録画した.同時に, 音声を, 同一ビデオテープに録音した.得られた音声出力をDSP Sona-Graph (KAY社製Model 5500) に導入し, time-waveおよびスペクトログラム (3D Sonagram) から各音の発生および終了時点を求め, 解析対象区域を規定した.画像解析装置 (Image Data : ID-8000, nac社製) により解析対象区域間の各標点をオートトラッキングして自動解析し, 3次元座標を求め, コンピュータに転送し, 3次元運動解析ソフト (MOVIAS 3D, nac社製) を用いて立体構築した.解析項目は, (1) 空間的移動距離累計 (TL), (2) 計測区分開始点と終了点間直線距離 (SL), (3) TLとSLの比率 (TL/SL), (4) 立体移動範囲 (CR), (5) 方向変更角度 (TH) である.以上の結果, 下顎および各計測点の被検音全体の発音中の運動経路のTL, CR, THは, 無歯顎時 (A) より義歯装着時 (C) の方が小さいことが明らかになった.また, 被検音に含まれる他の母音および各子音の中で, /s/, /∫/, /m/発音中には, 特異の運動経路を示すことが認められた.

コンピュータ将棋は予想を上回る勢いで進化を遂げ,プロレベルまであと一歩のところまで来た.本稿ではその強さを象徴する話題を取り上げ,次に最新技術の紹介を探索,評価関数,詰み探索の順に行う.実現確率探索は人間に近い思考を実現する画期的な方法でブレークスルーとなった.2006年コンピュータ将棋選手権で初出場初優勝を果たしたBonanzaは,これまでの常識を覆す全幅探索と評価関数の学習でこの世界に衝撃を走らせた.今後はさらに進歩が加速すると予想され,名人を超える日もそう遠い未来ではないのかもしれない.

黒毛和種の子牛市場成績,繁殖雌牛の体型,肥育成績などの経済形質に対して近親交配がどのような影響をもたらすかを調べた.材料牛は宮城県内の市場に上場された15,142頭の子牛,県内の11の改良組合の改良基礎雌牛(3歳以上)1,042頭および986頭の去勢肥育牛である.子牛では叔姪交配(近交係数6.25%以上)による近親交配が全子牛の16.4%を占めている.また,繁殖雌牛および肥育牛では,近交係数が6.5%以上のものが,それぞれ13.3%と13.4%を占めている.子牛の日齢体重は,近交度が上昇するにつれて小さくなっており,子牛市場上場時の発育形質に,近交退化が認められた.繁殖雌牛における近交係数に対する体測定値の一次回帰係数は,体高を除いた部位がすべて負となり,近交係数の高いものほど体測定値は小さくなる傾向にあったが,かん幅の体高比を除いて有意性は認められなかった.肥育牛の近交係数に対する発育形質の一次回帰係数はすべて負で有意となり,近交度の上昇にともない発育が低下しており,肥育牛の発育形質においても近交退化が認められた.一方,脂肪交雑の近交係数に対する一次回帰係数は正で有意であったが,種雄牛と一次回帰との間に交互作用が見られ,脂肪交雑に及ぼす近交の影響が種雄牛によって異なることが分った.

The sepals of Hydrangea macrophylla show various colors from red through purple to blue and famous for its easy color change. However, any colored sepals consisted of the same components; one anthocyanin, delphinidin 3-glucoside (1) and three co-pigments, 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid (neochlorogenic acid, 2), 5-O-p-coumaroylquinic acid (3) and 3-O-caffeoylquinic acid (chlorogenic acid, 4). For blue color development, Al^<3+> has been clarified to be essential and we obtained stable blue solution by mixing 1, 2 and Al^<3+>. However the mechanism of flower color variation and the chemical structure of the blue pigment are still obscure. To clarify the color variation of hydrangea, we established "Single Cell Analysis Method". After recording the absorption spectrum of a cell, the vacuolar pH of the cell was measured by using a microelectrode. By micro-HPLC technique, the composition of 1-4 and Al^<3+> was determined. Combining the results, we could reproduce the cell color from blue to red by mixing the components in various pH aq. solutions.

橋本孝先生古希記念論文集The characteristics of Italian Mannerism as represented by Vasari and Bronzino were these ; the flattening of figures, their action in two dimensions, the isolation of principal figures and groups of figures. It was illustrated by Vasari in the explanation of the word " maniera " of his " The Lives of the Painters, Sculptors and Architects" that these characteristics were used for the purpose of creating the graceful figures. The same characteristics mentioned above can been seen in the painting of Pieter Bruegel the Elder, such as " The Battle between Carnival and Lent ", " Children's Games ", " The Peasant's Wedding " and " The Dance of the Peasants ", which he worked out after his journey in Italy. We must, however, emphasize that he did not make use of any graceful figures as his subjects, for he suggested the universal human being in the form of peasants in the same manner as he arranged all sorts of things in nature according to the universal order shown in his landscape painting. Here we can recognize the original quality of Mannerism that Bruegel established in his Flanders.

This paper presents plug-in automatic charge of omnidirectional mobile robot with active casters. In this system, a camera on the robot detects an outlet on wall and a plug on the robot is inserted in the outlet by only movement of robot. Because this system needs no stations for automatic charge of robot, this system provides space saving and improvement of efficiency for robot task. Outlet is detected by feature values of contours. Distance and angle of outlet are measured by geometric relation of object and picture. Furthermore, it is confirmed that camera enables robot to approach outlet by experiment. Hereafter, robot will be installed plug and experiment of plug-in automatic charge will be tried.
