The paper proposes a novel recommender system which supports users to clarify the most appropriate preference by recommending other categories' items that almost meet the attributes selected by users. Such an advantage is achieved by both the preference ncretization of users and the preference change of users.To investigate the effectiveness of the proposed system, we conducted the human-subject experiments and found that the proposed system supports users to find their desirable items by clarifying their preference. Concretely, the following implications have been revealed: (1) the proposed recommender system with both the serendipity and decision buttons enables users to clarify their preference by comparing items which are classified in different categories; (2) in detail, the item recommendation based on the selected item attributes contributes to clarifying the users' preference through a change of their preference, while the item recommendation based on the item characteristic contributes to clarifying the users' preference through a concretization of their preference; and (3) the proposed recommender system with the decision button succeeds the further clarification of the preference of users who have already clarified it.

投稿論文The terminology of anima and animus in Augustine seems to be floating. G. O'Daly says that anima and animus can apply without distinction of meaning to human soul, and he concludes that the two terms are employed interchangeably. But in "Soliloquia", Augustine distinguishes between these terms. In this dialogue, he first declares that he wants to seize animus by the intellect, but afterwards, what he investigates is not animus but anima. In this paper, I would like to point out that Augustine's use of animus contains the meaning of self, and this self is the subject that uses rational soul. Rational soul can be used both in good and bad way. According to Augustine, the good use of it leads the soul to the vision of God. Man can uses rational soul in good way when he searches only for God and himself. Searching for himself is a preparatory condition for knowing God. That can be furnished with fides, spes and charitas. Thus, these virtues are considered to be something divine in anima. Augustine distinguishes two sides of the soul by using the words animus and anima, the rational soul as the searching subject and the soul as a place where the searching subject can find God.

一斉授業において伝統的に用いられている黒板を,コンピュータやネットワークに接続したものが電子化黒板である.双方向的な授業への活用が期待されるが,この特徴を活かした研究は少ない.本研究では,効果的な電子化黒板の活用を目指し,利点の1つである受講者の視線集中の効果に着目する.その効果として,受講者の存在感の向上を取り上げ,電子化黒板を用いた学習活動情報の共有が受講者の情意面に与える影響について検証する.そのために,電子化黒板の有無,教師役の有無,個人/共同による学習の3要因を変えた実験的な一斉授業を行った.分散分析の結果,電子化黒板がある授業において存在感が高いことが示された.次に,電子化黒板を用いた授業において,存在感を高めた要因と効果を調べるために,共分散構造分析とビデオ分析による検討を試みた.結果,電子化黒板への視線集中が存在感を高め,そのことが情意面を支援した可能性が示唆された.

次期米国標準の128ビット共通鍵ブロック暗号AESにおいて,論理設計の工夫によって回路の消費電力を減らす方法を検討した.今回筆者らが行った調査では,AESの消費電力の大半をS-Boxと呼ばれる非線形変換を行う組合せ回路が占めており,S-Boxの消費電力は回路中を伝播するダイナミックハザードの量で決まる.本稿では,消費電力の少ないS-Boxの論理回路構成法(multi-stage PPRM)を提案する.その方法では,合成体上で演算を行うことによって回路規模を減らすとともに,二段論理を何ステージか直列につなげることによって,各ゲートへの信号到達時間を揃えハザード発生を減らす.この結果,これまで知られているS-Box回路と比べて半分から3分の1以下の消費電力を達成した.本手法は,S-Boxにガロア体の逆元演算を用いたその他多くの共通鍵暗号回路にも有効である.Reducing the power consumption of AES circuits is a critical problem when the circuits are used in low power embedded systems.We found the S-Boxes consume much of the total AES circuit power and the power for an S-Box is mostly determined by the number of dynamic hazards.In this paper,we propose a low-power S-Box circuit architecture: a multi-stage PPRM architecture.In this S-Box, (i) arithmetic operations are peformed over a composite field in order to reduce the total circuit size,and (ii) each arithmetic operation over sub-fields of the composite field is implemented as PPRM logic (AND-XOR logic) in order to reduce the generation and propagation of dynamic hazards.Low power consumptions of 29uW at 10\,MHz using 0.13um 1.5V CMOS technology were achieved,while the consumptions of the conventional S-Boxes are two or more times larger.The proposed method is effective in the other common-key ciphers whose S-Boxes use Galois field inversion.

Intent-to-treat解析に関してはさまざまな議論がある.多くの生物統計家がランダム化臨床試験では必須の解析であるとしているものの,ランダムに割り付けられた治療の効果が正しく評価可能であった対象だけを解析すべき,または両者を併用すべき,などの方針も容認されている.これは,intent-to-treat解析は治療が臨床に導入された後に起こり得る状況をも考慮した実践的な解析で,プロトコルを遵守した治療効果評価可能例のみの解析は生物学的な効果を調べるための研究的な解析である,という認識にもとづいている.本論文では,intent-to-treat解析による治療効果の検定と治療効果の推定について因果推論の立場から議論し,治療効果の検定に関してはintent-to-treat解析は正しく因果帰無仮説の検定を行っていること,一般に「実践的」と考えられているのはintent-to-treat解析による治療効果の推定であることを明らかにする.さらに,プロトコルを遵守した治療効果評価可能例のみの解析でも因果パラメータを正しく推定できないことを示し,ランダム化にもとづいたintent-to-treat解析で因果パラメータを推定する方法を提案する.この方法は因果パラメータに強い生物学的な仮定を必要とするが,ランダム化にもとづいたノンパラメトリックな治療効果の推定を実施できるという利点を持っている.

広汎性発達障害者の抱える心理的な問題として,他者との違和感や自分のつかめなさといった自己概念の問題の重要性が近年指摘されているが,その研究は非常に困難である。本研究では,当事者の自伝を,彼らの自己内界に接近できる数少ない優れた資料であると考え,中でも卓越した言語化の能力を有する稀有な当事者による自伝を分析することによって広汎性発達障害者の自己内界に迫り,自己の特徴と自己概念獲得の様相を探索的に明らかにすることを目的とした。1冊の自伝を取り上げ,KJ法で分析を行った。結果,311のエピソードを取り出し,28のカテゴリーを生成した。その当事者の自己の様相においては,自己感の曖昧さや対人的自己認知の困難などの特異的な困難が明らかとなった。それらの困難ゆえに,対人的自己認知の獲得の過程において,主体としての自己を喪失する危機が生じやすいが,その際,自己感の曖昧さや対人接触の拒絶,解離など一般に障害あるいは症状とみなされる現象が危機に対する対処として機能していると考えられた。さらに,対人的自己認知は困難であるとはいえ,対人的経験の中で自己感を得られる新たなコミュニケーションスタイルを獲得しうる可能性も示唆された。

本研究は新たな声紋認証手法の開発を目的とする.提案システムは特徴量抽出に Fast Fourier Transform を用い,識別器に未知のパターンに対して排除能力が優れた Radial Basis Function Networks(RBFN) を用いる.提案手法は RBFN の出力細胞数を 1 としているために,特定個人の認識と未知のパターンの排除に優れると予測される.実験により認証対象者となる被験者の未学習データを評価し,提案手法の認証率および排除率を確認する.

2011年3月11日に発生した東北地方太平洋沖地震津波による福島県の被害に関して,現地調査及び数値シミュレーションを行い,海岸構造物の破壊機構を解明した.また,構造物へ大きな波力を及ぼす段波に関する水理実験を行い,津波の波面勾配が限界値を超えると段波が発生し,その限界値は海岸の地形勾配が緩やかなほど小さくなることが分かった.また,段波が構造物に作用する衝撃波圧は,入射波前面の波面勾配が大きくなるほど大きくなることが確認された.実験結果を津波の数値計算と組み合わせることで,福島県沿岸域の段波発生を分析した.その結果,中部では最大水位が高くかつ激しい段波が発生した可能性が高いことがわかり,中部で特に卓越する海食崖地形が,波面勾配の急峻化と段波の発生に影響しているものと推察された.
