The localized spin wave associated with two different impurities in an insulating b.c.c. antiferromagnet is investigated within the linear spin wave theory. The four cases with regard to the relative position of two impurities which include the case of nearest neighbor positions are considered. The energy of localized spin wave is calculated for the various values of exchange integrals and the magnitude of impurity spin. It may be concluded that some of the localized spin wave modes of the first impurity are not affected even if the second impurity is on the vicinity of the first impurity. When the same two impurities are on the same sublattice the larger interferential effect on the localized spin wave energy is induced than on the different sublattice. The dependence of localized spin wave energy on the distance between two impurities is discussed briefly.

I found the method to be able to photograph by from so near by using the portable X-ray apparatus, and by this method the position, forms, etc. ofthe Crvity in the lung can be known exactly before resection of the Cavity.

胸部断層撮影における截断層の厚さは, 種々の要素に支配されて必ずしも一ように律することは不可能であるが, 一般的には管球の移動角度の変化により, この厚さも変ってくるものといえる.管球の移動角度と截断層の厚さとの相関関係について検討するため, 一般的な諸条件により, 細線等による基礎実験を行い, 又切除肺標本の断層撮影像からする検討, 並びに同時多層撮影写真による臨床観察等により, 20度から70度迄の各角度における読影可能範囲内の截断層の厚さを求めた.

日本固有のカードゲーム大貧民の戦略について考察した。不完全情報多人数ゲームであり、必勝アルゴリズムの導出は難しい。自動プレイヤの終盤データベースの構築を目指し、10枚2人および10枚3人について、1枚プレイに限定して探索した。効率的な探索のため、大貧民の特性に基づいた手の同相性を定義して、パターン数の縮約を行った。パタンの縮約を行い、2人については5 741通り、3人については1 428 867通りに縮約した。探索の結果2人では3 518通り、3人では621 368通りの必勝パタンがあることが明らかになった。We introduce a reduction algorithm using hand structure under DAIHIMIN game rule. 10 cards with 2 players distribution and 10 cards with 3 players distribution are solved and shown. 2 players reduced pattern is 5,714 and 3 players reduced pattern is 1,428,867. As a searching result, the winning distributions are 5,741 patterns for 2 players and, 621,368 patterns for 3 players.

Polygonum deflexipolosum 丈の高いタデの新種ヒマラヤにはタデ屬は頗る多い。Clematis alternata センニンソウの新種。葉が對生するのがこの屬の通性であるがこれは葉が互生する.Deophiium nepalense ヒエンソウの新種.ヒマラヤには美しいヒエンソウ屬が多い.これは非常に小さい種.Potentilla eriocarpa var. major キジムシロ屬の大變大きなもの,莖が地をはって蛇のようである.Prunus himalaica 赤い花のサクラの新種.P. imanishii 黄色の花咲くサクラで,種名は今西錦司氏を記念せるもの.Sibbaldia minutissima 非常に小さいタテヤマキンバイの新種.Caragana nepalensis ムレスズメの新種.ヒマラヤの北側の乾燥地帯に出る.Utricularia nepalensis タヌキモの新種.苞が莖に盾状につく.Lonicera minutifolia 葉や花の小さいヒョウタンボクの新種.Nardostachys gracilis 有名な薬用植物N. jatamanshiiに近い小さいもの.

We previously demonstrated that Amaryllidaceae alkaloids, lycorine and lycoricidinol, inhibit induction of apoptosis by calprotectin derived from neutrophils, and that the latter alkaloid showed suppression in rat adjuvant-induced arthritis model. These findings suggest that the alkaloids have a modulating activity against inflammatory reaction. To explore further the mechanism of the suppression for inflammation, we studied the effect of the alkaloids on macrophage tumor necrosis factor(TNF-α) production in vitro, since TNF-α is recognized as a pivotal cytokine to regulate inflammation. As a result of this study, lycorine and lycoricidinol inhibited TNF-α production of murine macrophages stimulated with lipopolysaccharide(ID_<50> were 0.2μg/ml and 0.002μg/ml, respectively). The inhibition was also observed in macrophages treated by Gram-positive bacteria, Enterococcus faecalis. Both lycorine and lycoricidinol reportedly have inhibitory activity for protein biosynthesis. Although the inhibition of TNF-α production by lycoricidinol was mainly due to the inhibition of protein biosynthesis, lycorine showed inhibition against TNF-α prodictuon at lower concentrations than the case that they inhibited ^<35>S-Cysteine/^<35>S-Methionine incorporation into macrophages. These facts sugges that the inhibition of TNF-α production is not due to the inhibitory activity against protein translation at least at lower concentrations. From these results, it was concluded that these alkaloids exert inhibitory effects not only on neutrophil apoptosis-inducing protein, calprotectin, but also on macrophage TNF-α production.
