追熟過程のバナナ果肉および果皮に、主として2種の酸性α-グルコシダーゼ(AAG)が存在し、これらは、塩を含まない中性緩衝液で抽出される可溶性型酵素(SAAG)および0.2M以上のNaClを含む中性緩衝液で抽出される細胞壁結合型酵素(BAAG)であった。総AAG活性に対するSAAGおよびBAAGの活性比率は、それぞれ、48.0%、42.1%であり、このほかに塩を含んだ中性緩衝液では抽出されない酵素が9.9%存在した。成熟した黄色バナナからSAAGとBAAGを順次抽出し、Con A-SepharoseおよびSephadex G-150カラムクロマトグラフィーにより、それぞれ744倍(回収率7.8%)、264倍(回収率13.4%)に精製した。それぞれの分子量はSAAGが約70,000、BAAGは約90,000であった。これらの酵素は共通してマルトースを最もよく分解し、マルトオリゴ糖も分解する典型的なマルターゼであることが明らかとなった。しかし、長鎖マルトオリゴ糖(G_5-G_7)に対する分解効率(Vmax/Km)はSAAGよりもBAAGの方が低かった。

The identification method for the components of the traditional wooden architecture in the Central Vietnam is characterized by the 'Gian-Chái/Dam-Quyet' method that is based on its structure style of column and slanting beam 'Kèo'. Firstly, the joint of column and slanting beam has to fix on the ground before detail making of the slanting beam. Secondly their total view on the architecture consists of the one set of the longitude section and the parts of it. This identification method has been suited to their carpentry process and shows their carpentry production idea that the architectural space is composed by several pairs of the column and slanting beam. Because this method is based on the architecture style and carpentry process, it can be said quite natural or primitive one. On the other hand, the applicability of this method is not as wide as the method in the Middle Age of Japan.

Certain bacteria produce some carcinogens such as N-nitro compounds, n-butyric acid and n-valeric acid.From this point of view, the examination of intrauterine bacterial flora in patients with uterine endometrial cancer may provide important information.Twenty patients with the diagnosis of uterine endometrial cancer and 20 patients without complications other than myoma uteri were enrolled in the study. Enterobacteriaceae, Streptococcus agalactiae and anaerobic bacteria were mainly detected.The products of these bacteria might be considered to contribute to the initiation of endometrial carcinogenesis.Mixed abnormal flora between aerobic and anaerobic bacteria were detected in all patients with uterine endometrial cancer. It is suggested that uterine endometrial cancer provides favorable conditions for bacterial growth. Mixed abnormal bacterial flora also might influence the onset and growth of uterine endometrial cancer.

本稿では、天理教がハワイで組織的な伝道活動を開始した1930年代から伝道体制を確立した1950年代までの期間に注目し、ハワイ日系移民社会また日本社会との関係を検証しながら、ハワイにおける天理教の布教活動とその特徴を明らかにすることを試みている。19世紀後半に開教した仏教や神道などの日系宗教と同様に、天理教はハワイの日系移民社会を基盤として活動を展開し、日米開戦前には日系移民社会のおいて主要な教団の1つとなった。戦後の復興期にハワイ諸島の活動を統括するハワイ伝道庁が設立されるとハワイでの伝道体制が確立し、日本の教会本部との強い繋がりを維持しながら、布教師たちは日米両国や各地域に限定されないトランスナショナルな存在として、変容するハワイ社会や日系移民社会に対応していった。1990年以降様々な分野でトランスナショナルな研究が盛んになっている。これまでハワイの日系宗教研究の中で比較的蓄積が少ないとされる新宗教に関して、その一つである天理教の伝道を日系移民社会と日本社会の歴史的、社会的、宗教的文脈においてトランスナショナルな視点から読み解くことで、戦前から戦後にかけてのハワイ日系移民社会の変容への理解を深めることにもなるだろう。This paper—with focus on the period between the 1930s when Tenrikyo launched organized missionary work in Hawaii and the 1950s when its missionary system was established—attempts to review Tenrikyo's relationship with the Japanese immigrant society in Hawaii and the Japanese society to clarify Tenrikyo's missionary activities and their characteristics in Hawaii. As was the case with such Japanese religions as Buddhism and Shintoism whose centers opened in the latter half of the 19th century, Tenrikyo carried out activities in Hawaii with the Japanese immigrant society as its foundation and became one of the major religions in the society before the start of war between Japan and the U.S. During the postwar reconstruction period, the Mission Headquarters of Hawaii was set up to supervise its activities in the Hawaiian Islands, thereby establishing the missionary system in Hawaii. While maintaining strong ties to Church Headquarters in Japan, missionaries worked transnationally without being bound only to either Japan or the U.S. or to a specific location and responded to the changing Hawaiian and Japanese immigrant societies. Transnational studies have actively been conducted in various fields since the 1990s. Japanese new religions are considered to have been studied relatively little in the field of Japanese religions in Hawaii. Applying a transnational perspective to the study of the mission of Tenrikyo—one of the new religions—in the historical, social, and religious context of the Japanese immigrant society in Hawaii and the Japanese society will help deepen the understanding of the transformation of the Japanese immigrant society during the prewar-topostwar period.

新名神高速道路通過予定地の淀川河川敷には,「鵜殿ヨシ原」と呼ばれる雅楽に使用される良質なヨシの自生地がある。そのため,環境保全を目的に各種調査,検討を実施している。その一つとして,簡易動的コーン貫入試験を実施し,結果を長谷川式土壌貫入試験値に換算し,地下茎の確認状況や,土質構成から良質なヨシの生育環境を評価した。<BR>その結果,良質なヨシの生育場所は軟らかなシルト層が広がる箇所であることが確認された。

A 'national language' is undoubtedly strongly affected by that nation's ideology. "American School," written by Nobuo Kojima, describes how three English teachers encounter difficulties resulting from the political and ideological differences between the Japanese and English languages. This paper aims to examine "American School" in the context of the period when Japan was occupied by America, focussing particularly upon the political aspect of language and the nature of national language.
