近年「メディア芸術」に重点化した文化政策への関心が高まっており、中でもマンガを扱う文化施設が増えている。しかし、ちまたに流通しているマンガをあえて文化施設に収めること、またそれを人々が見に(読みに)訪れるとはいかなることなのだろうか。本論は、京都国際マンガミュージアムに注目し、2009年度に実施した来館者調査をもとに上記の問いに答えようとするものである。調査の結果、利用者の行動としては、館内でマンガを読んで過ごす図書館的な行動と、展示を見るように館内を観覧するような博物館的な行動に加え、このどちらにも回収できないような行動がみられた。本論ではこの3つ目の行動パターンに注目し、その特徴を分析する。このことを通じて、マンガ文化施設とは、単にマンガをどこかに集めればよい、あるいはマンガの展示を洗練させればよいという発想では捉えきれず、むしろ〈マンガ環境〉に注目した分析が今後必要とされることがわかった。

本稿は、宝塚市立手塚治虫記念館を取り上げ、館がいかなるコンセプトのもとに設計・運営されているのか、訪れる来館者がその空間をいかに受容しているのかに注目して行った調査結果を考察するものである。地域活性化・地域振興を掲げたマンガ関連文化施設の一例として、その現状を来館者の行動から詳細に繙き、地域振興という言葉が抱える矛盾や、そもそもマンガを博物館などで扱うことの意義や課題が見過ごされてきた点について分析・考察する。This paper questions the purpose of manga museums intended to promote regional development. This has been at rend for more than 20 years in Japan,an d Tezuka Osamu Manga Museum is one of the earliest museums established for such purpose. Through conducting a visitor survey and analyzing the visitor's movements and attitudes,w e aim to understand what it means to adopt manga in a museum for regional development.

This article aimed to examine psychological fairness in risk communication. We hypothesized that people are motivated to assess the procedural fairness of risk managers through risk messages from them. Thus, the first aim of the study was to reveal the psychological fairness criteria used by people when they read the risk messages regarding a nuclear power plant and an artificial food additive. Using the data on a sample of 408 citizens, SEM (structural equation modeling) revealed two criteria of a fair message: truthfulness and consideration. The truthfulness criterion consists of three elements: accuracy, informational openness, and suppression of concealment. The consideration criterion also consists of three elements: using plain words, respect for people, and voice. The second aim of the study was to examine the structure and efficiency of these criteria in comparing two risk communication settings: social debate and personal choice. The results revealed the same structure and efficiency, so that truthfulness and consideration are commonly used criteria beyond the settings. The results of this study suggested that presenting a fair message with truthfulness and consideration could determine future interactions among people in risk communication.

学術情報の円滑な流通を図るため,国立情報学研究所(NII )の主導のもと,大学などの研究機関において学術リポジトリの構築が進められている.しかし,学術情報のメタデータ作成は労力がかかるため,より簡便にメタデータを作成できるツールやサービスの開発が望まれている.本研究では,学術機関リポジトリの構築支援を目的として,理工系の研究者の間で研究者に広く用いられているBIBTEX 形式のメタデータを,NII メタデータ記述要素に準拠するメタデータに変換するシステムを開発する.提案するシステムを利用することで,メタデータ記述の労力を5 分の1 程度に抑えることができる.また,コンパイラ・コンパイラを利用することで,開発の労力を抑えることができた.

東京都羽村市にある食品スーパー、福島屋。酒販店やコンビニエンスストア、青果店を経て1980年に設立した。2011年9月期の売上高は41億円、従業員数360人ほどの中堅スーパーだ。 本店を構える羽村の駅前では大手食品スーパーが特売攻勢をかけ、近隣にも中堅スーパーが立ち並ぶ。それでも安売りとは一線を画しつつ、30年以上にわたり黒字経営を続けてきた。

I am convinced that the important thing in science education is to teach the fundamental facts, concepts, and natural laws through learners’ experiences, experiments and manufacturing. Learning with an intelligent interest is essential to the class of science education. As typical examples, I can pick up the class dealing with the questions such as ; “If you drink 1 kilogram of juice, how do you think your weight will change?” “What is the silver substance which is coating the surface of a silver dragees (little silver balls sold for decorating cookies)? Is that a metal?”
