Children have come to withdraw softly by degrees into themselves from the society. It seems to us that they are hoping to have to do with others but that they are afraid of being involved in others from the bottom of their heart. These soft withdrawals are caused by avoidance of others and as a resutl of that, shallow selves. In this thesis, two episodes are picked up: a 14 years' boy who killed young children bizarrely in Kobe and high school girls who look themselves in the looking glass elaborately in the train. In the first place, I interpret the crime statement of a 14 years old murderer. He describes himeself as the transparent being. It means his ego who lives in a different world from others and cannot communicate with others. In the second place, I explicate high school girls and show that they are seeking for others' sight but that they will not pay no attention to others' feeling. These episodes show commonly that some children demand and refuse others at the same time. Behind such their contradictory attitudes, weak or shallow selves of children are hidden. Children produce a variety of communication styles adaptative to their way of being. Many children go along easily with others' principles. They represent these accomodations as dependence and tuning. Or they refuse or neglect others. The result is that such attitudes are not the essence of the problems but only symptoms and that we have to pay attention to the anxiety of being themselves. Therefore it is important for us to accept their being.

先天性心疾患をもつ学童期までの子どもに対して母親が行う病気説明プロセスを明らかにすることを目的とし、疾患をもつ10歳~12歳の子どもの母親4名に半構成的面接を行った。分析にはSCATの手法を用いた。母親は医師から病気説明を受け、 「自発的な情報収集」 を行うが 「断続・漸進的な理解向上」 しか望めず、子どもが学童期になっても 「理解追求が停滞する不全的な病気説明理解」 状態にあった。その背景には 「疾患衝撃による理解阻害」 「病気理解の追求困難」 「医師母親間の信頼関係形成困難」 があり、母親は幼児期までの子どもに対する 「日常生活に即した内容中心の病気説明」 を、学童期までに 「日常生活に即した内容と不十分な医学的知識が共存した病気説明」 に変容させていた。またその病気説明は 「成長に付帯する病気説明選択要因」 に影響されていた。母親が医学的知識を向上し、子どもへ希望に沿った説明を行えるよう支援することが求められる。

Focusing on the correlation between speech sounds and body movements, we developed a voice-driven embodied entrainment character called InterActor that automatically generates communicative motions from speech, and demonstrated the effectiveness of the system. We also developed a communication agent that responds appropriately to utterance contents by focusing on words in speech using speech recognition. However, these systems simply generate body motions from the burst-pause of speech. The response actions corresponding to speaker’s speech speeds were not considered. In this paper, we analyze the relationship between an individual’s speech activity and speech speed[mora/s] from various speech experiments with the aim of facilitating speech according to speaker’s speech characteristics. We develop a voice-driven embodied entrainment system which performs nodding with different speeds according to speech speeds based on speech recognition. Based on the results of the speech experiments, we conduct an online evaluation experiment using videos of multiple speakers with different speaking speeds using the robot as a platform to verify the effectiveness of the response actions generated by the system.

In 2017, 2 household washing machines which were used at a house in Saitama prefecture were tested for fungal flora sampling. The fungi were identified in detail via genetic analysis of the ITS region. The number of fungi which were isolated were 8.7×106~6.1×107 cfu/100cm2 and dematiaceous fungi such as Ochroconis musae, Exophiala, Cyphellophora, Knufia epidermidis were dominant. As for Knufia epidermidis, this is the first report for identification from a Japanese household. The number of isolated Cladosporium, which is common in the environment, was fewer compared with the above 4 genera. The identified fungi were Cladosporium halatolerans, which is recently being recognized as the main species of Cladosporium. In our research, we have cleaned the 2 washing machines with different bleaches. Residual fungi was detected in washing machine A, which was cleaned with an oxygen bleach. On the other hand, no fungi was detected in washing machine B, which was cleaned with a chlorine bleach.

Applicability of the following marine fish species (Sillago japonica, Rudarius ercodes, and Pagrus major) in habitating the Japanese coastal waters as an experimental animal on the bioconcentration of hazardous chemicals has been examined by comparing the bioconcentration of TBTO, TPTC, TBP, HCB, α-HCH, and Co in these fish. These species of fish bioconcentrated these chemicals differently depending on the uptake and elimination rates. The bioconcentration factors of the chemicals in S. japonica were similar to those in P. major. The bioconcentration factors in R. ercodes were slightly different from those in S. japonica and P. major. A large amount of Co was bioconcentrated in R. ercodes. On the other hand, organic chemicals such as TBTO, TPTC, and TBP were not significantly bioconcentrated in R. ercodes. Our results based on the characteristics of bioconcentration suggest that S. japonica and P. major were suitable for the experimental species of fish.

本研究では,地域における再生可能エネルギー技術の導入がもたらす環境・社会経済効果を評価するための再生可能エネルギー部門拡張産業連関モデル・地域版(Renewable Energy Focused Input-Output model for Region: REFIORegion)を開発している。REFIO-Regionの作成は次の2段階のプロセスで構成されている。第一に,国と47都道府県の産業連関表,経済センサス活動調査など各種統計を用いて,1,741 市区町村の産業連関表(地域内表)を作成している。 第二に,1,741市区町村を任意の2地域に分類して2地域間表とするとともに,12種の再生可能エネルギー技術に関わる部門を結合することで,2地域間産業連間モデル,すなわちREFIO-Regionを構築している。REFIO-Regionは,わが国の1,741市区町村の産業構造ならびに12種の再生可能エネルギー技術の技術構造を詳細に表現しており,各技術の地域レベルの導入効果を詳細に分析可能である。REFIO-Regionを用いて,18市町村で構成される熊本連携中枢都市圏に風力発電を導入した場合の地域経済効果についてケースタディを実施している。ケースタディの結果は風力発電と導入地域の特徴を反映したものとなっており,本モデルの有効性を示している。
