To investigate intergender differences in muscle cleavage and joining during development of the external anal sphincter (EAS), we examined semiserial sections of 16 fetuses between 15 and 30 weeks of gestation (6 males and 10 females). The subcutaneous part of the EAS (EASsc) developed along the male perineal raphe and extended posteriorly. Thus, the male EAS was characterized by anterior protrusion of the subcutaneous muscle, in contrast to the almost circular female EAS. In both genders, the bulbospongiosus anlage (or the levator ani anlage) issued muscle fibers to form the superficial (or deep) part of the EAS. The EASsc communicated with the superficial part in males, whereas the female bulbospongiosus tended to communicate with the levator ani rather than the EAS. In both genders, the longitudinal muscle bundle(s) of the anorectum contributed to perineal body formation. However, the male perineal body also had a thick fascia between the rhabdosphincter and the levator. The bulbospongiosus seems to play a critical role in forming the EAS. A strict intergender difference in subcutaneous muscle development is evident along the perineal raphe, as the raphe is not evident in females. These results help to explain variations in the EAS, including anal malformations.

目的 布に皮膚が触れた瞬間に感じられる接触冷温感と, 布の熱吸収特性の関係を調べるために, 布の熱吸収特性の過渡特性を測定する装置を試作し, 20種類の男子用外衣服地を用いて布の過渡的熱吸収特性を測定する.また一方で布の風合い判定の熟練者6人によりそれらの布の接触時の冷温感め判定を行ない, その判定順位と熱吸収特性との関係を点検する, 結果 過渡的な熱吸収特性を, 接触直後の最大熱流速度qmax値で代表させた.同種繊維, 同種織物の比較においてqmax値と温感の順位とは密接に関係することが認められた.また定常流での熱伝導率は関係しないように思われる.

We monitored changes in serum leptin, adiponectin, and resistin concentrations in obese cats during weight loss. Six naturally developed obese cats were fed low-fat, high-fiber dry food during a 9-week experimental period. Serum leptin, adiponectin, and resistin concentrations were measured at week 0, 4, 8, and 9. Body weight became significantly lower week 4 onward than that at week 0 (P<0.05 or 0.01). At week 9, serum leptin concentrations were significantly lower than those at week 0 (P<0.05). Contrarily, serum adiponectin and resistin concentrations did not significantly differ within the 9 weeks. While serum leptin levels were strongly positively correlated with body weight (r=0.923, P<0.001), serum adiponectin levels were moderately negatively correlated with it (r=−0.529, P<0.01), with serum resistin having a no correlation with body weight. Serum leptin levels might be more closely related with pathogenesis of adiposity than serum adiponectin or resistin in cats.

In LTE (Long Term Evolution) / LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) system, the user-plane for a user equipment (UE) is provided by tunneling, which increases header overhead, processing overhead, and management overhead. In addition, the LTE-A system does not support moving cells which are composed of a mobile Relay Node (RN) and UEs attached to the mobile RN. Although there are several proposals for moving cells in the LTE-A system and the 5G system, all of them rely on tunneling for the user-plane, which means that none of them avoid the tunneling overheads. This paper proposes MocLis, a moving cell support protocol based on a Locator/ID split approach. MocLis does not use tunneling. Nested moving cells are supported. Signaling cost for handover of a moving cell is independent of the number of UEs and nested RNs in the moving cell. A MocLis prototype, implemented in Linux, includes user space daemons and modified kernel. Measurements show that the attachment time and handover time are short enough for practical use. MocLis has higher TCP throughput than the tunneling based approaches.

A conversion method of a netlist consisting of conventional logic gates for superconducting rapid single flux quantum (RSFQ) circuit realization is proposed. The method detects OR gates which can be replaced with confluence buffers (CBs) which converge their input pulses into their outputs. The detection problem of replaceable OR gates is treated as a SAT problem. Each OR gate requires clock input in RSFQ circuits. By replacing OR gates with CBs, wiring for clocking those OR gates are eliminated and the number of active devices known as Josephson junctions is reduced.

特殊関数論を他の分野との相互作用を意識しつつ展開することを探る挑戦的研究である。初年度である本年度は、まず、特殊関数として、Mittag-Leffler 関数やそれを拡張した一般ライト関数など、あまり馴染みのない関数の性質を調べた。特殊関数というと先行研究では超幾何関数やゼータ関数などがよく扱われているが、その範囲を超えていった場合にどのような性質が保たれ、どのような新しい現象が起こるのかをこれらの関数の族で検証していったものである。Uuganbayar(モンゴル国立大学) 並びに私の研究室の大学院生Dorjgotovと共同研究では、先行研究で得られている関係式を整理するとともに新しい関数関係式を与えることができ、それを論文として公表した。今後はこれらの関係式がなす代数構造があるかどうか、あるとしたら超幾何関数の昇降演算子のようなリー代数としての解釈を許すかどうかなどの発展が見込めるものである。特殊関数の由来として、新たに分数階の偏微分方程式の対称性の決定と、その対称性による変数分離の機構を考察した。群作用による多様体の分解だけでなく、独立変数の選択が分数階の微分の場合には、ドラスティックな変更をもたらすことに気づいたのが我々の研究の成果であり、この成果の副産物として、解の今まで知られていなかった表示を与えることに成功した。連立系に対する基礎方程式(係数関数に対する拘束条件)も新しく与えている。これは多数の未知関数を含む非線形の連立系であるが、帰納的構造を見出すことで幾つかの場合は係数関数と対称性のリー環を決定できている。このアルゴリズムが上手くいくカラクリを解明することは今後の課題である。

On August 22, 2009, during the kendo club activity in school, a 17-year-old male high school student suffered heat stroke. He was taken to the hospital, but died. His heat stroke was caused by an abusive instruction and negligence of a kendo coach and an assistant coach who were school teachers and local government employees. The parents of the student pursued their legal responsibility using various legal means such as a civil action, criminal complaint and appeal for review a procecutor's decision of non-prosecution to Committee for Inquest of Prosecution for more than seven years. The Act concerning State Liability for Compensation provides that state or local government is liable for a compensation for damage due to wrongful conduct by public officials. When there was intent or gross negligence on the part of the public officer, however, the State or public entity shall have the right to obtain reimbursement from that public officer. Therefore, the student's parents take a legal action of resident's audit re-quest (confirmation of the illegality that the local government has been defaulting on exercise of right of reimbursement for a long time) against Oita prefecture use as a last resort in pursuit of the personal responsibility of them. December 2016, the parents were able to get the court admit that the coach should take responsibility personally at last (but an assistant coach's responsibility was not accepted). This was the extremely epoch-making judgment that authorized the responsibility of the public employee individual. It can be hope that this judgment will put a brake on the coach's abuseful/inappropriate conduct in public school club activities. Oita prefecture, however, appealed against the decision on January 2016.正誤表あり
