Differential form is an alternative mathematical form to describe the field variables and the operators in electromagnetism. From the viewpoint of differential forms, discretization of electromagnetic field is divided into two steps, i) discretization of the exterior derivative operator (Maxwell’s equations), and ii) discretization of the Hodge star operator (constitutive equations). The first step, the discrete form of the Maxwell’s equations based on differential forms has been obtained by other researchers. In contrast, the discrete Hodge star operators (discrete constitutive equations) have not been obtained so far. In the previous studies, unsigned diagonal discrete Hodge star operators are defined using the unsigned area and length for circumcenter dual meshes, however, it does not lead to correct solution of partial differential equations in the general Delaunay meshes. In this paper, we propose a definition of the signed diagonal discrete Hodge star using the signed area and length operator for circumcenter dual meshes. Also, based on this definition, we propose a simple practical calculation method for the signed discrete Hodge star operators. The result of convergence experiment indicates that the signed diagonal Hodge star operators produce the correct numerical solution for the general Delaunay meshes. Therefore, this definition and calculation method for the signed discrete Hodge star operator provides us with the explicit dynamics formulation for finite element analysis of electromagnetic field.

In order to investigate patho-physiology of the nephrotic syndrome, the author made on examination of lipid, energy and carbohydrate metabolism, with priority to liver, by using the experimental nephrotic rats induced by aminonucleoside (AN). The resalts were as follows 1) In the AN nephrotic rats, the significant increase in serum cholesterol, esterified fatty acid, and phospholipid were observed, although these lipid concentration in the livers were nearly unchanged. The incorporation with acetate-1-C14 into cholesterol, glucose-U-C14 into fatty acid, and NaHP32O4 into phospholipid respectively, in the liver slices, increased in the nephrotic rats injected nine times with AN, and the synthesis of these lipids in the liver was considered highly increasing. 2) O2 Consumpsion of the substrates in the liver slices generally increased in the nephrotic rats and the result suggested increasing energy metabolism in the nephrotic syndrome. 3) The content of glycogen in the livers and muscles decreased in the nephrotic rats at the time of taking food freely as well as after five hours fasting, and showed a tendency to decrease even after the administration of a certain quantitative of glucose, and the similar decreasing tendency was also seen in the blood sager. In the nephrotic rats, hypoglycemic state was clearly observed. The ratio yields of C14O2 from glucose-6-C14 to that from glucose-1-C14 in the slice of liver showed a tendency to decreased in the nephrotic rats and the above-mentioned fact suggested the possibility of increasing lipogenesis. By investigating the activity of glycolytic enzymes, the author observed that G-6-ease and MDH significantly decreased in the nephrotic group, while LDH strikingly increased. There were no significant differences in PG iso, PG mut, ALD, G6PD, and ICD. From the enzymological level, the existence of lipogenic pattern could not be concluded.

(目的) 副腎出血は保存的に経過観察できるものから致死的なものまで様々である一方,治療の基準や方法は明確に確立されていない.今回我々は自験例および文献例にて副腎出血の治療法,そしてその適応について検討する. (対象と方法) 2004年11月から2013年9月までに東京大学医学部附属病院および同愛記念病院に来院した副腎出血6例と医中誌にて検索し得た57例について後向きに調査した. (結果) 今回の自験例6例と既報告57例の計63例において,悪性腫瘍の転移による副腎出血は重篤化する可能性が高い傾向があった.治療では保存的治療が13例(23%),TAEを行ったのが5例(8%),緊急手術が3例(5%)であり,残りの症例は状態が安定した後に診断を兼ねて待機的に副腎摘除術を施行していた.また,Hb 10 g/dl以下かつ血腫径が10 cm以上の症例は5例あり,そのうち1例を除いて,緊急止血術が行われた. (結論) 悪性腫瘍の副腎転移による出血,Hb 10 g/dl以下かつ血腫径が10 cmを超えるものは緊急で止血術を考慮すべきであり,止血術後も再出血や全身状態の悪化を起こす可能性があり厳重な観察を要すると考えられた.治療法としては,手術と比べ侵襲も少ないことからTAEを第一選択とすることが勧められる.

We reported a case of complex odontoma in a 3-year-old 1-month female infant.She was consulted with a complaint of an unerupted mandibular left first deciduous molar. Based on X-ray examination, we found that the tooth was impacted, and a calcificated mass was observed surrounding the tooth. We enucleated the mass with the tooth surgically. Histopathologically, it was diagnosed as complex odontoma.This is a rare case of complex odontoma, which interferred with the eruption of the mandibular first deciduous molar.

高度成長文化研究会を定期的に開催し各自の成果を共有した。7月9日には、研究代表者・成田龍一と研究分担者・坪井秀人が、1960年前後の世相と社会運動をめぐって問題提起をした。また、2018年3月23日に『思想』「<世界史>をいかに語るか」(同年3月号)をとりあげ合評会をおこなった(WINCとの共催)。こうした研究活動の成果は、アメリカの研究者との研究集会によって還元した。6月9日~12日まで、UCLAでの国際ワークショップ「トランスパシフィック ワークショップ」に、成田、研究分担者・渡辺直紀、同・高榮蘭、岩崎稔、鳥羽耕史、坪井が参加、報告した。また、成田と岩崎、坪井は8月30日~9月3日まで、EAJS(ヨーロッパ日本学会)リスボン大会に参加し、報告し議論した。また、9月21日~23日、韓国・ソウルに国際シンポジウムに参加、成田、渡辺、坪井、岩崎、高、および、研究分担者・島村輝、同・竹内栄美子が報告した。10月25日~28日まで、アメリカ合衆国でおこなわれた国際シンポジウムに、成田と岩崎が参加し報告・討議をおこなった。2018年3月2日~4日には、国際日本文化研究センターが主宰する国際シンポジウム「戦後文化再考」で成田が報告したほか、島村、高、研究分担者・戸邉秀明が参加した。そのほか、成田は、琉球大学で開かれた戦争社会学会 4月22-24日)で報告したほか、日本社会文学会(10月4日、5日)で、井上ひさしについて報告をおこない、成果を還元した。12月17日には、シンポジウム「ジェンダー史が拓く歴史教育」(奈良女子大学)で報告した。また、各自が出版活動をおこない、随時、成果を公表している。高度成長の思想史を考察し、歴史学、文学史の領域で成果を着実に公表している。文献史料とあわせ、本研究では重要な核となる大衆文化にかかわる資料も、DVDをはじめ順調に収集され前進している。

Infection with the skin fluke Benedenia seriolae is a serious threat of yellowtail aquaculture. ​Development of genomic resources and molecular markers for B. seriolae is an essential infrastructure to develop control strategies against B. seriolae infections. ​As a seminal study to establish the genomic resources of the Japanese B. seriolae populations, we sequenced the complete mitochondrial genome (mitogenome) sequences of 12 B. seriolae specimens collected from four prefectures in Japan. ​The Japanese B. seriolae mitogenomes were mutually 99% identical, while the identity was 85% when compared to that of an Australian specimen. ​Furthermore, the gene arrangement in the Japanese B. seriolae mitogenome was slightly different from that in the Australian specimen. ​The substantial mitogenomic divergence between the Australian and Japanese specimens indicates that B. seriolae is composed of molecularly divergent populations. ​Variable sites were dispersed in the mitogenome of the Japanese B. seriolae. ​Phylogenetic relationships among the Japanese B. seriolae specimens did not reflect the host species or geographic distributions within Japan.

A prime example of the difference in measures taken by the Republic of Belarus and Japan at present is the presence of laws and regulations concerning the measurement of radioactive contamination. The preparation of laws and regulations is crucial to the organization of an inspection system. Furthermore, the most fundamental data analysis at present, the creation of a radiation dose distribution map, ought to be a core element for radioactive contamination countermeasures. Explanations for why harmful rumors created by dialogue about risk with consumers have yet to be overcome can be linked to the fact that consumers are unable to confirm their own safety. In such a situation, it is not enough to thrust upon consumers reassurance alone.

Various studies have been conducted on photovoltaic (PV) power generation systems that focus either on a generation control circuit (GCC) to prevent power reduction due to a partial shade or on an active power decoupling method (APD) to reduce the power pulsation with twice the utility frequency. However, to the best of the authors' knowledge, only few studies have examined the PV power generation systems in which both the GCC and the APD functions are installed. In this paper, a novel PV power generation system equipped with both the GCC and the APD functions is proposed, and its fundamental operation is verified.

This letter proposes a single-phase full-bridge inverter with a capacitor embedded in a bus bar. In order to reduce the switching ripple flowing in the electrolytic capacitor, the proposed structure embeds a barium titanate (BaTiO3) ceramic capacitor in the bus bar. The experimental results verified the operation of the inverter circuit, rated 300V, 4.1A with a switching frequency of 100kHz.

「当事者型授業研究」とは, 教師集団による協同的な協議を通じて個々の教師の専門性を向上させるために, 当該授業者(教師), 当該学習者(子どもたち), 当該学校の教師集団を当事者として最大限尊重するようにデザインされた授業研究の一形態である。本研究では小学校での実践事例を取り上げ, 当事者型授業研究が教師たちの専門的な学習や成長に及ぼす効果について自己決定理論に基づいて検討した。談話分析, 質問紙法, インタビュー法を組み合わせたマルチメソッドアプローチによる分析の結果, 当事者型授業研究の実践によって, 当該授業の個別具体的な文脈を伴いながら教師や子どもに焦点化された写実的で精緻な情報が交流する協議会が実現するとともに, 教師がそのような協議会を繰り返し体験することを通じて, 授業研究において当事者をより重視すべきだという教師の信念(授業研究観)が形成され, 積極的な協議会参加と授業研究に関する成果に関する自己認識が促進されることなどが示された。本研究の結果は, 当事者型授業研究が教師たちの基本的心理欲求を充足することを通して, 彼らの動機づけや専門的学習, さらにはキャリア発達を促す可能性を示唆している。

The color tone and viscosity of the Japanese honey was examined. The nearly maximum chromaticity of the Japanese honey was 580〜590 mμ represented by CIE system. The viscosity of the honey between 20 to 45 was related to the temperature and the content of the water, as the following equation: W=(-0.87t+91.5)/(logη) where, W, water content (%); t, temperature (℃), and η, viscosity(centi poise) respectively.

食品栄養学的観点から,トリプトファン代謝産物キヌレン酸産生の制御による高次脳機能低下の予防・軽減を目指した.細胞・組織レベルの研究により,キヌレン酸産生抑制作用をもつアミノ酸10種を見出し,その作用機構を明らかにした.動物実験により,アミノ酸関連化合物の摂取がキヌレン酸産生を抑制し,ドーパミン機能を改善することを明らかにした.行動実験により,キヌレン酸産生増加によって社会行動が低下することを見出し,食餌のアミノ酸組成を変えることによってこの行動異常を抑制できることを明らかにした.以上の結果より,アミノ酸摂取によってトリプトファン代謝を制御し,高次脳機能を調節できる可能性が示された.
