研究目的は,事例研究を通して,わらべうた遊びを基盤とする幼児の表現活動においてどのように共同体形成が起こるかを明らかにすることである。事例とした保育実践は,わらべうた遊びからその替え歌づくりの表現活動へと展開する5歳児クラスの実践である。わらべうた遊びに内在するノリは,表現活動では身体・言語コミュニケーションを促進した。身体・言語コミュニケーションが共通の目的,共同行為,意味共有を可能にし,教室に共同体形成をもたらした。The purpose of this paper is to reveal the characteristic appearance of community formation in young children's expressive activity based on warabeuta play through case study. The case is an early childhood education practice to create a new version of warabeuta play "Hayashi no naka kara". Nori in warabeuta play worked to facilitate body/verbal communication in the expressive activity. Body/verbal communication made it possible to share an end, actions and meanings of expressive activity, and then formed community in the class.

Traffic accidents caused by the pedal operation error by the elderly drivers have become social problem, for example the collision with structure, vehicle or pedestrian. It is generally known that due to the weakening of the flexibility of the elderly's body, the angle at which the knees are placed inside decreases. As the result, in the sitting posture of elderly drivers, there is a difference in the posture of the legs with non-elderly drivers. This may be the hypothesis that it is one of the major causes of the increase in pedal operation errors by them. In this study, we focused attention on the posture of the leg when parking the vehicle with backward movement, and visually checked the sitting posture of the driver's leg and the behavior of the right foot, the driving in simulating the rearward turning motion experimentally verified by twisting the waist of a person. As this check, it is clarified the relationship between the posture of driver's leg or right foot and the foot location area on the brake pedal, which are assumed making effects of pedal operation error.

In clinical practice, sensory tests are performed for patients with a disorder to establish a diagnosis or verify a hypothesis concerning sensory impairment. The hypothesis is set up by the therapist through observational assessment and a graphic display of movements based on a top-down approach. This paper discusses sensory testing based on a top-down approach by presenting effective clinical methods to identify sensory impairments.

This paper presents our design concepts of our original extensible-boom-based optics on a 5kg satellite “PRISM” which stands for “Pico-satellite for Remote-sensing and Innovative Space Missions”. The boom has been designed especially for a telescope, so it is very different from any conventional structure. The handheld satellite will be the first test bed of the extensible boom and will obtain Earth images with 30 meter resolution or better when this boom works well in orbit, with its compact spacecraft bus, which is 18cm×18cm×40cm body. The satellite will be launched 2008.

一見孤立無縁に生きているように見える単細胞生物である細菌も,細胞間でコミュニケーションをとりながら,集団として生育し,集団としてのパワーを最大限に発揮していることが分かってきた.細菌の場合は,細胞間コミュニケーションの媒体として化学物質を利用することが多い.中でもよく研究されているのが,クオラムセンシングと呼ばれる現象で,同種菌の生産するシグナル物質“オートインデューサー”の菌体外濃度を感知することで,同種菌の菌密度を感知し,それに合わせて,さまざまな遺伝子の発現をコントロールするというものである.本稿では,このような細菌の細胞間ケミカルコミュニケーションの分子機構について,グラム陰性菌からグラム陽性菌までその知るところを概略し,紹介する.
