Is business management science or art? To answer this big question, we apply such concepts as Mishina's three strategic factors for success in the long term, Vygotsky's activity theory, and Engestrom's knotworking, to the history of E.YAZAWA, who is well-known as entertainer, rock musician, and self-producer in Japan. As a result, we extract some theoretical problems in order to describe his own business strategy by E.YAZAWA consistently, while admitting some contributions of those factors, concepts, and theories as necessary conditions. Instead, we introduce other psychological factors, i.e.,passion, persistence, and sense as sufficient conditions so as to connect them altogether logically.

Japan has adopted community-based integrated long-term care, which has shifted the burden of care from institutions to the home. However, family caregivers have received less attention compared with care recipients. Many family caregivers are also older adults, and it is important that caregivers receive appropriate support to alleviate the burden of care. In rural and sub-urban area with limited resources compared to urban area, it is necessary to know which support to be prioritized. Therefore, this study aimed to understand family caregivers’ perceptions of social support, the type and source of support which were considered important, and how it affected their caregiving burden and quality of life (QOL). We conducted a convergent mixed-method study with 174 primary family caregivers of older adults receiving home care in rural and suburb area of Central Japan. The mixed-method approach enabled qualitative data to complement quantitative results. Strong family support and higher education had positive effects on QOL, while higher caregiving burden and longer duration of care had negative effects on QOL. Provision of tangible support from family and healthcare professionals was central in reducing caregiving burden and improving caregivers’ QOL. Support from distant relatives or neighbors, which was deemed inappropriate by caregivers, had a negative effect on caregivers’ emotional status. In conclusion, family caregivers perceived support positively, but the effects depended on who provided support. While tangible support from close family and professionals was perceived positively, support from neighbors or distant relatives should consider caregivers’ needs and condition to avoid a negative impact.

高速道路での逆走が問題になっている。現在、看板や路面標識などの視覚的対策がされているが、どの対策がどれほどの効果をもたらすかは明らかにされていない。そこで、どの対策や組み合わせが効果があるのか検証する。場所はパーキングエリアの入り口を想定した。路面舗装、指摘する看板の数、指摘する看板の色、路面標識を組み合わせて検証した。CGでサンプルを作ってドライブシミュレータで実験をした。その結果、空間を占める赤色の面積を大きくするほうが効果が高まることが分かった。

Nine species of stragglers and rare birds were recorded from Taik, southern Tokachi district, Hokkaido, from September 1970 to May 1981. A single bird of <i>Accipiter gentilis albidus</i> was observed on February 10, 1981 at Hikata. A single bird of <i>Falco rusticolus</i> was seen from January 11 to February 20, 1980: January 11 at Kosei, January 20 at Shimo-taiki, February 1 at Memu and February 20 at Furubetsu. A single bird of <i>Falco columbarius</i> was observed on March 10, 1979 at Toyosato. A single bird of <i>Grus grus</i> was observed in September, 1970 at Bisei and November, 1971 at Seika. Two birds of <i>Grus monacha</i> was seen in late October at Nakajima, from 1972 to 1974, and a single bird of <i>G. monacha</i> was seen at Nakajima from April 29 to May 6, 1981. A single bird of <i>Grus canadensis</i> was seen from December 5 to 23, 1979 at Seika. Two species of <i>Grus</i> were seen in company with <i>Grus japonensis</i>. A single bird of <i>Tringa guttifer</i> was seen from September 21 to 23, 1980 at Kosei. A single bird of <i>Emberiza pusilla</i> was seen among a flock of <i>Acanthis flammea</i> from January 25 to 28, 1978 at Kaishin. A single bird of <i>Corvus monedula dauuricus</i> was seen from April 3 to 8, 1978: April 3 at Taiko and April 3 at the town of Taiki, and on March 13, 1980 at Takuhoku. These records are the first ones from Tokachi District.

中国の古典、先哲の著述中の刑罰に関する言辞を抄録し、併せて古来の裁判事例を収録した書で、刑罰運用の心得を示す。明の呉訥(1372-1457)撰。呉訥は監察御史(諸官吏の違法を取締り、地方官庁の行政を視察してまわる官)の職を歴任し、宋代の裁判事例集「棠陰比事」の改編も行っている。本版は元和年間(1615-23)木活字印本。古活字版。首に正統2年(1442)の自序、「棠陰比事」の後序を付す。巻頭に「祥刑要覧巻上」、巻末に「祥刑要覧巻上終」とあり、末尾に「下巻者即棠陰比事也」とあるので、両書合して印行されたとみられる。下巻にあたるものの現所在は不明。

司馬懿の遼東遠征が持つ意味を、公孫氏政権の盛衰とからめて考えてみた。この遠征の成功は司馬懿の国盗りの本格的なスタ-トとなったのではないかと考えられる。これには倭の女王卑弥呼への王号授与がおおきなヒントになっている。
