The paper presents the application of a three component model to the theoretical study of the combustion process of a Diesel engine fueled with sunflower oil and sunflower oil-Diesel fuel mixtures. The model assumes that the working fluid consists of three components: the fresh air, the flame and the burned gases.<BR>The combustion model uses the energy conservation equation:<BR>v<SUB>c</SUB>·Q<SUB>c</SUB>·dξ<SUB>α</SUB>=dU<SUB>α</SUB>+dL<SUB>α</SUB>+dQ<SUB>wα</SUB>, [1]<BR>where v<SUB>c</SUB> is the fuel cyclic dose, Q<SUB>c</SUB> is the fuel heating value, ξ<SUB>α</SUB>=v<SUB>cα</SUB>/v<SUB>c</SUB>, v<SUB>cα</SUB> is the quantity of burned fuel up to the moment α, U<SUB>α</SUB> is the internal energy of the working fluid, Q<SUB>wα</SUB> is the heat exchanged through the cylinder walls and L<SUB>α</SUB> is the mechanical work.<BR>The heat release law was assumed to be a Vibe type one:<BR>ξ<SUB>α</SUB>=R<SUB>c</SUB>·[1−exp(−6.9·A<SUP>m</SUP><SUB>P</SUB><SUP>p+1</SUP>)]+(1−R<SUB>c</SUB>)·[1−exp(−6.9·A<SUP>md+1</SUP>)], [2]<BR>where:<BR>·A<SUB>p</SUB>=(α−α<SUB>d</SUB>)/(α<SUB>P</SUB>−α<SUB>d</SUB>) and A=(α−α<SUB>d</SUB>)/(α<SUB>F</SUB>−α<SUB>d</SUB>);<BR>·α<SUB>d</SUB>-start of combustion angle;<BR>·α<SUB>f</SUB>-end of combustion angle;<BR>·α<SUB>P</SUB>-end of rapid combustion angle.<BR>Using Eqs. [1] and [2] we have obtained the cylinder pressure during combustion, for the vegetable fuels taken into account; the peak values were confirmed during the experiments.

This paper focuses on the special economic zone policy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (North Korea), in particular its revitalization after 2009. Kirn Jong-il, the former leader of North Korea, visited Rason, the special economic zone, at the end of 2009. Since that time, North Korea's special economic zone policy has been revitalized. The question is, why has North Korea revitalized this policy? This paper first focuses on the background of North Korea's special economic zone policy. Kim Jong-il wanted to establish 'an economically strong country to be inherited by his successor, Kim Jong-un. This paper also focuses on changes in the special economic zone policy. The biggest feature of the special economic zone in recent years is China's cooperation in development and management. In 2011, North Korea and China agreed to jointly develop Rason and Hwanggumpyong. It is the conclusion of this author that North Korea will establish an economically strong country with foreign capital obtained in the special economic zone. Therefore, developing the special economic zone is a very important point to establishing Kangsung (strong and prosperous) country which North Korea considers as a target.

本研究の目的は、水蒸気加熱処理を用いて、微細藻類から効果的に油分を抽出するだけでなく、副生成物も有効に利用することにある。水蒸気加熱処理技術を微細藻類からの油分抽出に利用することによって、単に高い発熱量を有するバイオオイルが抽出できるだけでなく、固体肥料と微細藻類の培養液も製造することができる。バイオオイルから製造された脂肪酸メチルエステルは、適切に改質することによって、バイオディーゼルとして利用することが可能である。水溶性残渣は、微細藻類の培養液として有効に機能し、固体残渣も植物の成長促進に効果的であることも示された。

The phytochemical study of the aerial parts of Aster scaber THUNB. (Asteraceae) yielded a new caffeoyl quinic acid, (-) 3,5-dicaffeoyl-muco-quinic acid (2) and three known compounds, (-) 3,5-dicaffeoyl quinic acid (1), (-) 4,5-dicaffeoyl quinic acid (3), (-) 5-caffeoyl quinic acid (4). The structures were established by high resolution spectroscopic methods. The antiviral effects against HIV-1 integrase of the compounds was evaluated. (-) 3,5-Dicaffeoyl-muco-quinic acid (2) exhibited potent antiviral activity with an IC_<50> value of 7.0±1.3 μg/ml.

A new curriculum based on stundent's informal knowledge in ratio was established in the present study. The goal of this study was to examine the effect of the new curriculum on students' understanding of ratio. The ratio concept as a quantity rather than symbol operations was stressed in the new curriculum. In addition, the second term of proportion (b × p=a ; b : base quantity, p : proportion, a: quantity to be compared) was introduced first in the sequence of teaching three terms on ratio. Thirty-five students participated in eight lessons based on the new curriculum and 71 received normal lessons following the textbook. The students of the experimental group showed significantly superior performance over the textbook group (control group) in solving ratio problems. Although computational strategy was used in the textbook group in problem solving, an estimation strategy was mainly adopted in the experimental group. These results are discussed from the viewpoint of curriculum based on informal knowledge in children.
