本研究の目的は, 農家の起業活動の一環として注目されている農家レストランについて, 農家レストランの存在が地域住民の意識の変化にどのような影響を与えているのかを明らかにすることにある.そのために, まず立地条件の異なる2つの農家レストランを選定した.1つは農村集落型であり, もう1つは住宅地型である.これら2つの農家レストランを対象に, 地域住民がどの程度農家レストランの存在を認識し, 実際に利用しているのか, さらに地域住民の意識変化についてアンケート調査で把握した.その結果, 農村集落型の農家レストランでは地域住民の認知度, 利用は高く, 安全安心な生産物や食の提供に対して意識変化がみられた.住宅地型の農家レストランでは, 地域内からの利用は多いが, 認知度は2極化しており, 安全安心, 地域住民同士の交流といった項目に意識変化がみられた.

本稿は、場面シラバスを用いてコミュニケーションのための日本語をいかに導入するかの取り組みの報告である。初級の日本語学習者に対し、文法積み上げ式でない教授法で「コミュニケーションに必要な日本語」に重点を置いた教育実習を行った。その結果、場面シラバスと文法シラバスとでは教え方において大きな違いはないが、場面シラバスの場合、新出文型や場面提示をより分かりやすく丁寧に行うことが求められることが分かった。また、話せるようにすべき日本語と聞いて分かればよい日本語とを区別して提示することにより、コミュニケーションに必要な日本語の多角的な学習が維持できる。コミュニケーション重視の日本語指導は、現実場面で使用されているリアルな日本語を学べるという点で、学習の楽しみや学習意欲を引き出す効果が見受けられた。

インドネシアの中では開発の優等生として今日豊かさを享受しているバリ州において、2007年に起こった、人々の知らぬ間に手続き上、外部からの推薦という形で新たなバリ人国家英雄が認定された出来事を取り上げ、その認定取り消し要求に及んだバリ人たちの批判の中から、過去の様々な記憶が喚起され、新たに認定されたその国家英雄を反転像として、国民としてもバリ人としても「真」なる英雄像が立ち上がっていった様相を分析する。

This article analyzes Mishima Yukio's Confession of a Mask (1949), focusing on the sexuality of the male protagonist "I". Although "I" confesses his sexual desire to the same sex, it is not appropriate to apply the term "homosexual" to him, because his sexual inclination is not exactly equal to the "homosexuality" in the modern Western sense. The fact that he is attracted to men of a different age group from his own is related to the traditional make-up of the same sex couple in nanshoku (the Japanese tradition of male-love), which typically consisted of an older man and a younger boy. There were two different nanshoku traditions; monastic and military, and "I" possesses the features of both: the idolization of the love object of the former, and the educational function of the latter.However, in contrast with traditional nanshoku, which was tolerated and even celebrated in pre-modern Japan, "I" considers his same sex desires sinful and shameful. His notions about his sexuality are influenced by Western prejudices about male love seen in discourses on homosexuality in the West. At the same time, he has a strong sense of subjectivity that makes him capable of expressing and confessing his own sexual desires. With "I"'s confession, a modern subjectivity and sexual identity emerges, and in this sense, he can be called a "homosexual", in the same sense as, for example, the male protagonist Billy in John Fox's Boys on the Rock (1984), a representative work of American gay fiction. By comparing "I" with Billy, I will point out modernized and Westernized aspects of the narrator's sexuality, and conclude that the character "I" represents the mixed characteristics of indigenous and exogenous elements of male love in modernized Japan.

地方競馬の馬券投票システムの開発・運用・保守を受託するソフトバンク系列のオッズ・パークは10月中に2度のシステム障害を起こし、完全復旧までに19日を費やした。この間、パソコンや携帯電話を通じた馬券購入が断続的にできなくなるなど、サービスの根幹にかかわるトラブルに発展した。 本誌の取材によれば、2度の障害の原因はこうだ。

本研究では,大学教育における第二外国語に対して,学生が何を望んでいるのかの調査,分析をある私立大学内で行った。その際には,大学で中国語,ドイツ語,スペイン語,フランス語,朝鮮語といった第二外国語を履修する62 名の自由記述型の質問項目の回答を用いて,捕獲率による知見の収集率の確認と,得られた知見の吟味,考察を行った。その結果,(a)実用的な授業,(b)学習者にとって困難な点の把握,(c)コース設計に対する考慮の重要性が明らかになった。また,調査用紙のフェイス項目を用いて協力者をサブグループに分類し,より詳細な層ごとに捕獲率を計算した。この試みにより,留学や仕事で外国語の使用を志望していない学生でも実用性を求めていることが確認された。

Henri Bergson states that "duration", which cannot be fragmented into instants, has reality, and that the instants themselves are unreal. Herein lies the difficulty of discussing the photograph from a Bergsonist viewpoint. To solve this problem, this paper proposes that Bergson treats the "any-instant-whatever" as a kind of duration, but one which is without memory, and is therefore extremely expanded. In contrast, subjective human perception is a condensing of myriads of instants via the memory, and is therefore a contracted duration. Without memory, the any-instant-whatevers return to themselves, and become objective. This paper proposes that the camera, being only physical matter without human memory, reveals the any-instant-whatever that had become indistinguishable in the contracting memory. From this viewpoint, the photograph is objective in its instantaneity, revealing instantaneous "differences" that are "useless" for human beings; Bergson recognizes that "revelation" is a function of art. Thus, the "optical unconscious" revealed instantaneously by the photograph, refers not to psychological reality, but to the objective (material) world.

FTTHエフティーティエイチ(Fiber to the Home)サービスがいよいよ始まった(表1-1)。 2001年3月1日,有線ブロードネットワークスは東京都渋谷区と世田谷区の一部で,FTTHサービス「Broad-Gate01」の提供を正式にスタートした。4月になると,ソフトバンク系のベンチャー企業であるアイ・ピー・レボルーションも集合住宅在住者向けのFTTHサービスを始めた。
