Killer whales Orcinus orca are cosmopolitan in distribution, but study sites are restricted to small geographic areas, primarily shore-based and boat-based studies focusing on nearshore areas. To contribute understanding about the biology of killer whales in pelagic areas, we created photographic identification catalogue of killer whales sighted during T/S Oshoro-maru cruise to the northern North Pacific, Bering Sea and Chukchi Sea in 2003, 2005-2009. For 6 years, 37 groups were found, containing 182 whales, and 29 individuals were identified from left side photos of dorsal fin. No individual was re-sighted within-year, nor between-year. And no matches were found between killer whales observed in Alaska, Russian far east seas, Kushiro and Shiretoko, Japan. Our result can serve as background information for the future study of pelagic killer whales.

Dans un entretien, Michel Foucault a parlé de Pierre Legender, avec un ton critique, quecelui-ci, en réduisant les procédures de pouvoir à la loi d'interdicton, ne puvait penser du pouvoir que de facon négative, homogène et symbolique ; qu'il ne comprenait pas des procédures positives de pouvoir qui visent directement au corps, comme un pouvoir disciplinaire. Peut-être, sa crtique est bien justifiée,mais,en examinant ses arguments de près, nous nous appercevons qu'elle n'est possible qu'en negligeant ce que Legendre conçoit en terme de "rite". À partir de ce point litigieux, nous pouvous soulever de plusieurs arguments interessants : repenser le concept de rite : réexaminer les forme comtemporaines du rituel d'un point de vue différent. : relire les oeuvres de Foucault comme traités sur la stratégie des rites. : remesurer la portée des remarques de Nietzhe dans son "Zur Genealogie der Moral".

Somatic cells can be reprogrammed into pluripotent stem cells by introducing a combination of several transcription factors. The induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells from a patient's somatic cells could be useful source of cells for drug discovery and cell transplantation therapies. However, most human iPS cells are made by viral vectors, such as retrovirus and lentivirus, which integrate the reprogramming factors into host genomes and may increase the risk of tumor formation. Studies of the mechanisms underlying the reprogramming and establishment of non-integration methods contribute evidence to resolve the safety concerns associated with iPS cells. On the other hand, patient-specific iPS cells have already been established and used for recapitulating disease pathology.

This study was focused on the every day feeling adjustment with makeup. The purpose of this study was clarified whether manicure had as influenced to be desirable for feeling adjustment. The analytical subject was 40 female university students (M=19.68years old, SD=2.03). The index used Profile of Mood States(POMS). After using manicure, "Tension-Anxiety score","Depression -Dejection score","Anger-Hostility score", "Fatigue score","Confusion score" decreased significantly of Profile of Mood States(POMS) and "Vigor score" increased significantly of Profile of Mood Sates(POMS). The result of this study indicated a fact it is possible to give positive feeling adjustment affects on female university students through the using manicure. 本研究の目的は,化粧の日常的な感情調整作用に注目し,女子学生40名(平均年齢=19.68歳,SD=2.03)を対象に,マニキュアのもたらす感情調整作用について検討することである. マニキュア使用前後の感情の変化をProfile of Mood states(POMS)によって測定したところ,マニキュアの使用にともない,「緊張-不安」「抑うつ-落ち込み」「怒り-敵意」「疲労」「混乱」が有意に低下し,「活気」が有意に上昇することが明らかとなった. 本研究の結果から,マニキュアの使用はリラクセーションに有用であると考えられた.
