本論文では、より細かな表情認識を目的として、笑顔に着目し、快・不快・社交的の3つの笑顔に分類する方法を提案する。まず、目・口・眉の構成要素の追跡を行い、次に、表情筋の6グループの動作と追跡結果を適合させる。最後に、どの表情筋の動作により各笑顔が表出されるかを観察することにより、笑顔の分類基準を検討する。In this paper, we propose the method of classifying a smile into pleasantness, unpleasantness, and sociability for recognition of facial expressions in detail. First, we track the facial components, such as the eyes, mouth and eyebrows. Second, we match the tracking result with the motions of the six groups of facial muscles. Finally, we investigate the criterion for classifying the smile by observing which musule motion creates the smile.

急性壊死性食道炎の4例を経験した.4例とも初発症状は吐血で,上部消化管内視鏡検査では特徴的な黒色食道を呈した.発症時の基礎疾患は,3例がケトアシドーシス,2例が糖尿病であった.3例は保存的に軽快し,死亡例を1例認めたが死因は急性壊死性食道炎によるものではなく,基礎疾患である敗血症が予後を規定した.急性壊死性食道炎はまれな疾患ではあるが,緊急内視鏡における鑑別診断として念頭に置くべきであると考える.<br>

Three experiments on mental rotation were carried out to investigate conditions under which hand images are operated kinesthetically. In Experiment 1a, either a left or right hand was presented in a photographic slide, and subjects' task was left-right identification. In Exp. 2, each slide consisted of two hands, identical hands or mirror-imaged hands, and same-different judgment was required. In Exp. 3, two hands were presented successively, requiring same-different (mirror-reversed) judgment. On the other hand, subjects in Exp. 1b were asked to rate physical difficulty of actual hand movements to imitate stimuli. Six to 12 undergraduate students served as subjects in each experiment. The results suggested that subjects' mental operations of hand images were kinesthetic in Exp. 1a but visual in Exp. 2 and 3, on the basis of comparison between reaction times in the three experiments and the ratings in Exp. 1b. Conditions which give rise to kinesthetic image processes were argued in relation with task structures.

This paper aims to investigate the budget making process of public libraries. The focus is not on the library in isolation, but in relation to various forms of local government level. I interviewed seven library administrators in Saitama Prefecture about factors affecting the budget making process. On the basis of the data collected, I conclude that not only the administrator's negotiation ability and available human network resources affect the allocation of budgets, but also the council, the local administrative chief, the long-term plan, and the level of citizen support each play a significant role in this process.

The aim of this study is to investigate the budgets of public libraries from a financial point of view. We analyzed historical data of nationwide public library budgets. We especially examined it from three aspects, the total budget, funding sources, purposes of budgets. We also used data of local government budgets and budgets for social education to compare the library budgets. The results showed that the trend of local government budgets had strong influence over library budgets. The trend of library budgets bore a striking resemblance to budgets for social education. Capital expenditure of libraries had drastically decreased from late 1990s in line with the burst of economic bubble.

現代ロシアでは、メドヴェージェフ大統領とプーチン首相による双頭政治体制が強化されています。政治権力の集中にともない、社会では市民団体などの非営利団体の活動が衰退しているように考えられています。しかし今回の調査では、中央集権化がすすむ一方で、人権擁護団体や宗教組織が政治権力と真っ向から対峙しなくても、独自の運動を展開している実態が浮き彫りになりました。
