This essay analyzes In This Corner of The World (both the original manga and the anime version), focusing on the role of “memorizing now”. This work is very successful in depicting truly daily life in wartime Japan. The protagonist Suzu represents “memorizing now” through her act of drawing things and gives the meta-structure to the work. The little girl Harumi who tells Suzu names of warships in Kure Port that she could hardly know at that time mediates the continuity between innocent citizens and military. Absent and invisible brothers who taught her those names and also connect Suzu to her husband Shusaku function as the presentness itself of “memorizing now”. They are the limit of depicting=memorizing the past, bring about a tragic death to Haruim and deprive Suzu of her drawing right hand.

本稿の目的は,学校管理下の体育的部活動時に発生した重大事故(死亡や重度の負傷)の件数に関して,既存の統計資料を二次分析にかけることで,どの種の部活動が重大事故につながりやすいのかを明らかにすることである。今日,学校安全が不審者対策と同一視されることがある。本稿は,学校安全を不審者対策に特化しない。学校管理下の多種多様な災害の集計データを幅広く見渡し,「エビデンス・ベイスト」の視点から体育的部活動に焦点を合わせ,どの部活動で事故が高い確率で起きているのかを明らかにする。これまで学校事故のデータの「集計」はなされてきたが,そこに一歩踏み込んで「分析」をくわえようという試みはおこなわれてこなかったのである。分析の結果,中高の部活動のなかでもっとも重大事故に遭う確率が高いのは柔道部とラグビー部であることがわかった。確率が高い部活動においては,早急な安全対策が求められる。

常識的には、人間は、物事を「頭の中」で理解していると考えられている。例えば、人間は、他人の言葉を、耳や目といった感覚器官を使って体の中に取り入れ、それを「頭の中」で理解していると考えられている。しかし、この描像は正しくない。他人の言葉は、「頭の中」で理解されているわけではない。そもそも他人の言葉そのものは、「頭の中」には入ってこない。では、他人の言葉は、どのようにして理解されているのだろうか。人間が、他人の言葉を理解するということはどのようなことなのだろうか。本稿の目的は、まずこの問いに答えることである。また、人間が理解しているのは、他人の言葉だけではない。人間は、言葉として表明されない他人の気持ちや意向、ひいては世界における様々な物、事象、現象をも理解している。そして、それらも人間の「頭の中」で理解されているわけではない。では、それらは、どのようにして理解されているのだろうか。こうした問いに答えることも本稿の目的である。

The separation and purification methods of precious metals from the scrap containing precious metals are introduced in this review. The solid waste containing precious metals first is dissolved by the solution somprising oxidation agents and ligands, such as aqua regia, Cl2+HCL and NaCN+O2. The separation of precious metals in the leached solution or wasted solution is carried out by using various methods like classic precipitation, cementation, ion exchange resin, activated carbon adsorption and solvent extraction. It depends on the concentration and combination of precious metals what kind of separation method is applied. Generally, adsorption and ion exchange methods are applicable to the dilute solution, while precipitation, cementation and solvent extraction are used for the concentrated solution. In the recovery of the precious metals in automoble catalyst, the collection of the platinum group matels in Cu or Fe metals melted by a plasma melting method is performed as one of the recovery techniques by the pyro-metallurgy. The fundamental of separation and purification methods, and some commercial plant examples are described for recycling of precious metals.
