症例は81歳,男性.低血糖を伴う一過性意識消失で救急搬送.血糖降下剤の内服なく,誘因として発作性心房細動に対し内服していたシベンゾリンコハク酸塩が疑われ,同剤を中止の上入院.第2病日に突然意識消失し,心電図モニター上Torsade de Pointes(TdP)を認めた.QT延長を認め,シベンゾリンによる副作用を疑ったが,同剤中止後も改善なし.コハク酸ソリフェナシン内服中止したところ改善.経過より同剤内服によるQT延長と推測された.

The author implemented Japanese language classes for international students at university using cases with the objective of developing their ability to find and resolve problems. Here, cases refer to teaching materials that write on the circumstances surrounding issues and the emotions of the people concerned in story form. Analyses were made of recordings of group and class discussions. As a result, these discussions prompted the students to deepen their understanding and thinking with regard to the cases used while helping them recognize the perspectives of others and accept differing opinions and ideas.

摂食行動障害者の早期発見を行うために,393人の女子高校生および382人の女子大学生を対象に,健康状態,心理的特性および食習慣状況について調査した。その結果,(1)高校生より大学生の方が,摂食行動障害傾向者が多かった。(2)大学生より高校生の方がやせている者(BMI<18.5)および月経異常者が多かった。(3)心理的特性と食習慣状況では同じ傾向を示した。食習慣状況では,20%の学生は朝食を欠食し,そのうちの60%の学生は朝食を摂らずに間食で補っていることが判明した。また,女子学生の多くは計画的な食生活をしていないので,食教育を受ける必要性がある。次に,思春期女性を食事行動様式に従って,4グループ(健常者を含む)に分類した。大学生の摂食行動障害傾向者の割合は,44.5%(過食傾向者37.9%,拒食傾向者0.3%,両方の傾向者6.3%)で,高校生の摂食行動障害傾向者の割合は27.0%(21.9%,0.1%,5.0%)であった。拒食傾向者を除く3グループのBMI値は同じ傾向を示した(BMI=19~20)ので,外観や体型からでは健常者グループと摂食行動障害傾向者グループを判別することは出来ないことが分かった。また,幼児期の食物アレルギーが拒食傾向者に関与していることも分かった。4グループにおける心理的特性について因子分析した結果を,次のようにまとめた。(1)拒食傾向タイプ;やせ願望・体型不満・良い子意識,(2)過食傾向タイプ;やせ願望・自己否定・過食,(3)拒過食傾向タイプ;やせ願望・自己否定,体型不満,過食。摂食行動障害傾向者では,自尊心とうつ状態に強い正の相関関係を示した(r=0.7)。過食傾向者と拒過食両傾向者の約60%の者が月経異常者であった。反対に拒食傾向者は無月経症状を示した。さらに,自己否定者数と月経正常者数に負の相関関係を示した(r=-0.8)。(オンラインのみ掲載)

本論文では,ユーザの状況に応じて適切な情報を提供する状況依存型情報推薦システムのプロトタイプを提案する.膨大な情報からユーザの嗜好に合致する情報を提供する手法として,情報推薦システムに関する研究が行われているが,ユーザのそのときの状況(時間帯や天気,同伴者,予算など)に応じて変化するユーザの嗜好に対し,柔軟に対応することは容易ではない.そこで我々は,状況に応じて変化するユーザの嗜好を適切にモデル化する手法を提案した.本論文では,このモデル化手法を適用した状況依存型情報推薦システムのプロトタイプを提案し,検証実験に基づいて,提案手法の評価を行った.この中で,提案手法であるコンテクスト依存型情報フィルタリングとコンテクスト依存型協調フィルタリングの有効性や特長の違いを明らかにするとともに,対象コンテンツの特徴パラメータの最適化に関して考察した.

大学宇宙工学コンソーシアム(University Space Engineering Consortium:UNISEC)は10年余にわたる国内高専・大学への実践的宇宙開発の支援を経て,宇宙ハンズオントレーニングの有用性・有効性を確信し,活動を宇宙開発新興国を含む他地域に広げるべく,2011年に国際委員会を組織した.国際向けの活動としては,超小型衛星のミッションアイディア国際コンテスト開催,海外の新興国への衛星開発教育の実践,超小型衛星シンポジウムの事務局運営などがある.UNISECでは,2020年までに100以上の国で大学生が実践的宇宙開発に参加できるような世界を作ろうという「VISION 2020-100」を発表し,世界各地にUNISECのような大学連携組織を作り,それらの組織を横断的につなぐUNISEC-Globalを設立しようという提案を国連の会議等で行い,2013年11月には,第1回UNISEC世界大会(The 1st UNISEC-Global Meeting)を実施し,UNISEC-Globalの設立が宣言された.本稿では,UNISEC国際展開の経緯と成果およびその将来展望,課題について考察する.

Volcano Sakura-zima resumed explosive eruption in its summit crater after a long repose on Oct. 13. 1955, and is still active up to the present (Oct. 1957). In order to throw a light on the relation between explosive eruptions and volcanic earthquakes, we applied to this volcano the same method of seismometrical observation as being carried out in Volcano Asama. As the result, we observed four types of volcanic earthquakes originating from Sakura-zima: Namely, 1) volcanic earthquakes of the A type, 2) volcanic earthquakes of the B type, 3) earthquakes accompanied by explosive eruptions and 4) volcanic pulsation of continuous train (or harmonic tremor). On the basis of the seismometrical observation at four or six stations, we determined localities of these earthquakes of the four types. As the result, it was made clear that the epicentral area of the B type earthquakes, the explosion earthquakes and the volcanic pulsation agree with the locality of the active crater on the summit, and the A type earth quakes are originated from deeper part of the volcano. From the illustration of seismic activity and explosive eruption in Fig. 5, it seems that frequency of the B type earthquakes harmonizes with the eruptive activity. After precise examination of the development of the mentioned phenomena, we find that marked swarms of the B type earthquakes preceed in many cases to respective swarms of explosive eruption by ten or fifteen days. However, the problem is not always simple. It is neccessary to continue the observation not only in active state of the volcano but also in its calm state.

The chromosomal locations of glutamate oxaloacetate transaminase gene loci in Japanese bunching onion (<i>Allium fistulosum</i> L., 2<i>n</i>=2X= 16, FF) and shallot (<i>A. cepa</i> L. Aggregatum group, 2<i>n</i>=2X = l6, AA) were investigated using alien monosomic addition lines (2<i>n</i>=2X+1=17, FF+nA, AA+nF) and hypoallotriploid lines (2<i>n</i>=3X-1=23, AFF-nA, AAF-nF) between these two species. The gene locus <i>Got-2</i> was located on the homoeologous sub-telocentric chromosomes, 6F in <i>A. fistulosum</i> and 6A in <i>A. cepa</i> Aggregatum group. The gene locus <i>Got-1</i> was on the other chromosomes. The present results indicate that chromosomal locations of these gene loci, at least <i>Got-2</i>, were conservative both in <i>A. fistulosum</i> and <i>A. cepa</i> Aggregatum group during speciation and subsequent evolution.<br>

高リーク世代において、Self-Timed Cut-Offに基づくブロックレベル活性化法は、待機時のみならず動作時においてもリーク電流を減らすことができ有効である。その基本動作は統計情報に基づいている。Self-Timed Cut-Offスイッチを使い、一定時間動いてないブロックをスリープモードに入れる。本提案の有効性を8ビットRISCマイクロプロセッサのVerilog HDLによるシミュレーションと々もに、0.25umのSOIプロセスで試作された64ビットのcarry look-head 加算器の測定を通して検証した。

2004年4月より運用が続けられている休講通知掲示Webアプリケーションシステムに,休講通知情報を電子メールにより配信する機能を付加実装した。実現したメール配信機能では,メール文の作成・配信やメール配信希望の登録・登録削除を含め全てに自動化が図られ,また,携帯電話端末でのメール受信に対応するよう文字化け防止等の対策もなされている。本研究で付加した機能は,マルチプラットフォームに対応し,Windows系OS以外でも容易に実装可能である。休講通知掲示システムの機能が補完され,システムの有用性や利用者の利便性が一段と高まることが期待される。
