経肛門的直腸異物は自慰行為などにより突発的に生じることが多い.われわれは経肛門的直腸異物の3例を経験したので,報告する.症例1は59歳,男性.ゴム製の棒を自ら肛門より挿入し抜去不可となり,当院を受診した.外来での抜去は困難で,腰椎麻酔下に砕石位とし,腹部を愛護的に圧迫することにより,異物を把持でき,経肛門的に摘出した.症例2は65歳,男性.化粧水の容器を自ら肛門より挿入し抜去不可となり,当院を受診した.外来での抜去は困難で,症例1と同様の方法で経肛門的に摘出した.症例3は43歳,男性.コルク製のボールを自ら肛門より挿入し抜去不可となり,当院を受診した.外来での抜去は困難で,腰椎麻酔下に経肛門的に摘出した.腰椎麻酔下では肛門括約筋の弛緩が得られ,用手肛門的に摘出可能となることがあり,試みられるべき治療法の1つであると思われた.

日本では古くから文学作品の中では心や魂のいろいろな面が書かれてきたが,心を科学的な目で見ることはなかった。明治維新以後,海外で心理学を学び帰国した教師たちによって心理学の研究や教育がなされるようになった。日本の大学で心理学を学んだ寺田精一は,刑務所にいる囚人の調査,研究により,多くの犯罪心理学の著書や論文を発表した。こうしたきっかけから内務省では多くの心理職員を嘱託として採用していたが,やがて正式の職員として採用するようになった。心理テストは精神科医による鑑定書に用いられた。

戦後新しい法律が制定され,心理職が制定された。最高裁判所,法務省,警察庁や児童相談所に心理職が設けられた。その結果心理学関連の学部を持つ大学が増えた。臨床心理士制度ができた結果,臨床心理学の大学院も増えた。日本犯罪心理学会が1963年に発足した。今では会員が犯罪心理学を講義する大学は日本中に広がっている。犯罪心理学の専門書は出版され,犯罪心理学者はマスコミ界で主要な役割を果たしている。

A microwave Doppler sensor can sense wide range of human motion, from minute displacement of body surface caused by respiration to large movement like walking, without contact. To apply the sensor to monitoring human daily activity for safety and health, it is necessary to estimate the current state from the raw signal of the sensor output. In this paper, we propose a method to detect the following three state, “move”:the target is changing his/her position or pose, “resp.”:the target sits still and is breathing, and“hold”:the target sits still and holds his/her breath. The observed sensor signal is classified by three binary classifiers prepared for each state. For input of the classifiers, three kinds of features, energy, frequency-domain entropy, and histogram are extracted from the raw signal. The result of the experiment showed that the proposed detector surpassed that of previous related works especially in respiration detection. We tested three classification methods, least squares, SVM and AdaBoost. There was no significant difference between the performances of classification methods. Cross validation was done by two different ways of data division. In one way of the data division, both training and test data contain data of all the subjects who participated in the experiment. In the other way, training data do not contain the data which belong to the subject of the test data. As the result of this test, the classifiers trained by other persons'data were not inferior to those trained by data which contain the target's own data. This means that the state detection does not depend on the individual target. The parameters can be configured at the factory.

Onomatopoeia appears much frequently in the word-of-mouth restaurant search site. In this paper, we first analyzed the relationship between food categories and onomatopoeias on the word-of-mouth restaurant search site. From the analysis, we found that the appearance of onomatopoeias and food categories are highly correlated. This fact indicates that na?ve way of using onomatopoeia as feature of restaurant makes the recommendation similar to food category based recommendation. This motivate us to develop sense related onomatopoeia based recommendation as senses plays an important role to enjoy food in restaurant. For the purpose, we propose an algorithm to collect sense related onomatopoeias from the web and produce serendipitous restaurant recommendation using sense related onomatopoeias as feature. We have conducted user test and the result shows that the recommendation using sense related onomatopoeia based recommendation satisfies 14 subjects from the viewpoint of serendipity, which is much larger than 3 subjects of food category based recommendation.

The purpose of his study was to investigate the speed and the accuracy of smash strokes of forehand in which conditions of various timing and hitting point in table tennis. Two male subjects participated in the world championships, and one of them participated in The 24th Soeul Olympic Games. The pictures of the action in hitting was recorded by a video cassette recorder while the reaction of three dimentional forces of forceplate and the wave of impact on the racket were synchronized on date recorder. The results obtained as followes. 1) The ball speed were between 17.6m sec. and 26.0m sec., and the accuracy were 69 % and 74 %. 2) Player with higher performance showed higher accuracy of smash strokes in front position trend to use his leg and arm more efficiently and sufficiently for make the distance the middle point of a circle of turning of trunk shorter. 3) Player with higher performance showed higher speed of smash strokes in middle position trend to use his leg and arm more efficiently and sufficiently for make the distance the middle point of a circle of turning of trunk longer. The results obtained were as follows. It was guessed that to control the distance the middle point of a circle of turning of trunk strongly influenced on the accuracy and the speed of ball smashed in front and middle position.

本研究では, 睡眠中生理量を無拘束かつ小型の装置で計測することを目的とする。具体的には等間隔に並べた圧力センサを枕の下に入れ, 圧力値をワンチップマイコンでA/D変換し, 同室のPCに無線で送る。PC上では呼吸数, 寝返り数を計測するアルゴリズムの構築を試みた。実験では, 医療用生理量計測機器とビデオカメラで睡眠中の寝返り数, 呼吸数を計測し, センサ枕による計測結果と比較する。また簡単なモデルを用いて, 呼吸に伴う頭部の圧力値変化を考察する。

本論文では、室内環境での、物品検出システムを提案する。物品が置かれた時、取り除かれた時には入力画像の安定的変化が生じることが期待できるため、本研究では背景差分法を用いた物品検出システムの構築を行う。背景差分法の出力から物品の設置、除去を判別するため、本研究では複層型背景モデルを採用する。画像の安定変化は人領域のような一時静止領域によっても引き起こされるため、一時静止領域と物体領域の判別が必要になる。オクルージョンの多い室内環境において頑健な判別を実現するため、本研究では特徴点を用いたトラッキング手法と局所フレーム差分を用いる。実験により、提案手法を用いて十分な速度で頑健な検出が可能であることが明らかとなった。

米飯食味の良否はデンプン胚乳の糊化特性が大きく関与し, 胚乳内部への吸水ムラが大きく影響すると言われているが, 未だ明らかにされていない。このため, 水浸漬時の精白米への吸水現象を微細構造的に観察した結果, 胚乳部への吸水深さは背面よりも腹面が大きく, 疎水性タンパク質 (PB-1) の分布特性とよく一致した。背面では, 複粒デンプン内の単粒間に吸水されず, 胚乳細胞壁沿いでも吸水されない部位が存在した。また, 洗米水濁度が高い精白米では, 洗米水中に浮遊するデンプン粒の大半が単粒として分離しており, 精白米最外面の単粒間によく吸水した。

Chemically modified compounds of glycyrrhizin have been synthesized and evaluated for their inhibitory effect on the replication of human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) and herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV-1). Among them, the 11-deoxo compound having a heteroannular diene structure at the C and D rings proved as active against HIV-1 as glycyrrhizin in MT-4 and MOLT-4 cells. It completely inhibited HIV-1-induced cytopathogenicity in both cell lines at a concentration of 0.16mM. The compound was also effective against HSV-1 with a 50% inhibitory concentration of 0.5μM.
