The ice cream, also known as King of Sweets, gives you deliciousness, fun and peace of mind. Ice cream market size in Japan expanded steadily during the late Showa period, supported by the expansion of the population and the high growth of the economy. However, it had shrunk significantly over the past 10 years in the Heisei period, and then it has expanded again and still continues the present day. This V-shaped recovery is explained by factors in fields such as logistics, sales, production, marketing, and research and development. We also introduce big hit ice cream products in the Heisei period and discussed the challenges of the ice cream industry in the Reiwa period.

誤嚥はみられないが、嚥下時に咽頭-喉頭に異常感を訴える4名の高齢者に、症状の改善を目的に、訓練を行った。咽頭食道透視にて訓練を行った前後の比較を行った。訓練は対象者に下顎を胸の方向に強く持続牽引してもらい、施術者が頤部に手を固定し用手的に、下顎を短時間伸展するように牽引した。この操作により、2名において造影剤の通過時間の短縮がみられた。またこの訓練により、4例とも安静時の甲状軟骨の位置が高くなった。また軟口蓋の咽頭閉鎖も改善がみられた。簡易な訓練ではあるが、低くなった喉頭の位置の改善とそれによる誤嚥抑制の効果が期待された。

EVシフトが進めば、大幅な税収減となり新たな財源の確保が必要となる。一方で、インフラ維持管理費用が深刻な問題となる。走行距離など移動経路に応じて課税する受益者負担の考え方はわかりやすく身の丈にあったインフラ量を誘導する。道路修繕更新費用の一部が走行税で賄われる受益者負担課金を想定し、地方自治体まちづくりに与える影響を分析し、社会最適化などの理論モデルを構築する。

Philosophers often liken living well to creating an art work. I call this conception “poetics of life.” Hanna Arendt’s thought about human existence is very unique in that she interprets poetics of life concretely and rejects it clearly. On the contrary, there are few philosophers who concretize the metaphor and evaluate it negatively. In this paper, by replying to her criticism, I try to develop poetics of life in the right direction. The ground for her rejection to poetics of life comes from her famous typology of vita activa. In The Human Condition (1958), Arendt divides human activity into three types, namely “labor”, “work”/ “fabrication,” and “action.” Since Arendt categorizes creation of art works into “work” and regards “action” as proper activity for human being, she cannot accept the metaphor “to live well is to create a work of art.” However, investigating detailed descriptions of examples of “action”, it is revealed that the general explanation for the difference between “work” and “action” does not comprehend the essential feature of “action”; the function of formation that integrates parts already existing ad-lib. By this function, this paper will show that Arendt’s theory is capable of containing the idea of “making one’s own life.”

症例は40代,女性。右耳内違和感を主訴に受診。術前約20ヶ月の間に,頻回に再発を繰り返す右外耳道腫瘤に対して計6回の生検が施行された。1~4回目では粘液を有する炎症性肉芽様組織と病理診断し,経過観察をされていた。経過中に耳下部腫脹は認めなかった。5回目の生検で悪性腫瘍の可能性を疑い,その後CTで右耳下腺に腫瘍が存在することが判明し,外耳道を含む拡大耳下腺全摘術が施行された。手術検体の病理組織像では,耳下腺上極に発生した低悪性粘表皮癌が上方に進展し,軟骨部外耳道の「サントリーニ裂溝」を穿通して外耳道へ進展していた。本例は,臨床的および病理学的に終始外耳道病変と認識されていたことで,生検組織を長期間にわたり奇異な粘液性上皮構造を含む炎症性肉芽と判断し,耳下腺腫瘍の存在を早期に認識することが困難であった。まれではあるが,本例の様な耳下腺腫瘍の非定型的な外耳道方向への進展形式について注意を払うことが必要と思われた。

In Temp et recit (1983-5), Ricoeur posed the concept of "narrative identity," saying "subjects recognize themselves in the stories they tell about themselves." Subjects narrate their lives, and thereby understand why I am what I am. We can regard this mode of self-understanding as past-oriented. However, we should note that in the texts written during the same period, Ricoeur also emphasized the importance of future-oriented self-understanding and claimed that both modes of self-understanding interact with each other. That is, subjects can project their futures only starting from the narrative reconstruction of their pasts, and what they project as the future has a retroactive effect on their understanding of the past. Yet, how precisely does the narrative reconstruction of the past allow subjects to make new future? Ricoeur didn't clarify this course. The only way to concretize it is reinterpreting his theory of will in terms of time and narrative. It was in Le volontaire et l'involontaire (1950) in which Ricoeur told "I cannot will the new without finding the old and finding myself already given," that he discussed will and freedom. Therefore, by investigating the argument of Le volontaire et l'involontaire, this paper will elucidate and embody Ricoeur's conception.

From the early period of his career, Paul Ricoeur (1913-2005) focused on project and action as a form of self-understanding. In the 1970s, he associated the concept of self-understanding with the question of interpretation of poetic language such as metaphor and narrative fiction, arguing that the act of interpreting poetic works enabled the reader to project a new existence. However, Ricoeur's own account on this association is fragmentary, even containing internal contradictions. Especially, his idea of "the world of the text," despite its centrality in his argument, seems to conflict with his earlier thoughts. Yet, we should note that in Temp et recit (1983-5), Ricoeur reconsidered and modified that concept. Though virtually no attempt has been made to elucidate the significance of this modification, it is crucial to reinterpret his texts written in the 70's in light of the revision made in the 80's for understanding the design of Ricoeur's hermeneutics integrally. By investigating the process of the shift from interpretation to project in terms of the reader's act, this paper will reconstruct Ricoeur's apparently fragmented hermeneutics as a whole, thereby demonstrating that he regarded interpretation as an act of dialogue and a creative activity supported by imagination.

われわれは下顎を支え前頸部舌骨上下筋群と胸鎖乳突筋に等尺性収縮の運動負荷を短時間に行うことにより嚥下機能の改善につながることを報告してきた。等尺性収縮は短時間での筋力増加が期待できる訓練手技であり、この訓練を高齢者 11 名 (60 - 88 歳) に毎食事前 4 - 6秒 3 回ずつ、自分自身で行い、2 - 4週間後にその効果を確認した。結果、repetitive saliva swallowing testは訓練前平均 2.7 (± 1.2) から訓練後 6.2 (± 1.6) と変化した。頸部側面単純レントゲン撮影では頤 - 舌骨間が11.1%、頤 - 甲状軟骨間が 8.4%短縮した。胸骨 - 甲状軟骨間は12.0%延長した。年齢とともに胸骨に近づいた舌骨・甲状軟骨の位置はこの訓練により頤に近づいた。このことは嚥下運動の開始が早くなり誤嚥防止に役立つと考えられる。舌骨・喉頭周囲の筋力増強を目的とした嚥下訓練は確立されたものは少なく、本手技は高齢者の嚥下機能改善に寄与することが考えられると同時に手技が簡便で短時間での効果発現が見込まれるため各種嚥下障害への応用が期待される。

HPV 関連中咽頭癌は HPV 非関連癌に比べ、化学療法や放射線療法に高感受性で予後良好である。今後、HPV の検出が中咽頭癌の治療効果予測や治療方針決定に対する有用なバイオマーカーとなり得る。今回、68 例の未治療中咽頭癌のホルマリン固定パラフィン包埋ブロックからの最適な HPV 検出法とその手順の探索を行った。方法はリアルタイム PCR 法でハイリスク型 HPV の 7 亜型の検出、In situ hybridization 法 (ISH) で HPV 16/18 DNA の検出、免疫組織化学検査で p16 の発現を検討した。HPV 陽性率はPCR、ISH、p16 で各 37、32、44%、PCR で HPV 陽性 28 例の内訳は、16 型が 26 例 (93%)、56 型 1 例 ( 4%)、58 型 1 例 ( 4%) であった。3 種類の検出法のうち 2 種以上が陽性のものを真の HPV 陽性と仮定すると、感度と特異度は PCR (92%、93%)、ISH (92%、100%)、p16 (100%、86%)で、陽性的中率と陰性的中率は PCR (88%、95%)、ISH (100%、96%)、p16 (80%、100%) であった。HPV 検出法として、まず p16 でスクリーニングを行い、p16 陽性例に対し ISH で確定診断する方法が至適と考えられた。

[Abstract] Oligomeric state of the actin interacting protein 2/D-lactate dehydrogenase protein 2( Aip2p/Dld2p)isolated from Saccharomyces cerevisiae was shown to be able to unfold the conformation of pathogenic highly aggregated polypeptides, and has been supposed to be a novel chaperone protein. However, the mechanism of the unfolding activity is little understood. Since experiments for the structure–function relationships of a protein require an efficient expression system, we attempted to use the methylotrophic yeast Pichia pastoris because of its ability of very high expression yield. Changing the vector/protein construct combinations, we examined the secretion expression system of P. pastoris with several Aip2p/Dld2p constructs as well as the intracellular expression system. We did not observe significant expression yields in any construct combinations. RT-PCR analyses revealed that mRNA coding Aip2p/Dld2p was successfully synthesized, suggesting that the structure of Aip2p/Dld2p is inherently unstable and susceptible to proteolysis of the cellular quality control system. [抄録]出芽酵母Saccharomyces cerevisiae から単離されたオリゴメリック蛋白質Aip2p/Dld2p は病原性の蛋白質異常凝集体を解きほぐす活性を持ち, 新規のシャペロン蛋白質であることが示唆されている. しかしながら, その解きほぐし活性の物理化学的メカニズムについてはほとんど調べられていない. 蛋白質の物理化学的解析や構造解析には数十ミリグラム程度の試料が必要であり, そのためには高効率の蛋白質発現系を要する. そこで今回, 我々は他の蛋白質で高収量が報告されているメタノール資化酵母Pichia pastorisによる大量発現を試みた. 種々のAip2p/Dld2p コンストラクト(全長体、N 末端欠損体, システイン→アラニン置換体)とベクター(細胞内発現系、分泌発現系)の組み合わせを試したところ, Aip2p/Dld2p をコードするmRNA の合成は見られたが, 蛋白質の発現は細胞内発現系でも分泌発現系でも見られず, さらに分泌発現系の場合の細胞内にも見られなかった. Aip2p/Dld2p の天然構造は非常に不安定で, ヘテロロガスな発現の場合, 翻訳直後に細胞内の品質管理機構によって加水分解を受けているのではないかと考えられる.近畿大学先端技術総合研究所紀要編集委員会

本研究課題は,老朽化する都市インフラ整備の選択集中に関して,独自にデータ収集し,実証分析を実行し,同時に理論的知見を導くことを通じ,施設整備に関する具体の政策を提言することを目的としている.最初に研究基盤を構築した上で,逐次廃止手法の効率性評価,リスク分析における効率性と冗長性とのトレードオフ構造等に関する理論研究・実証研究を展開した.様々な自治体と意見交換・情報収集することから,実装対象を北海道網走郡津別町,茨城県土浦市,茨城県常総市に絞り,研究・理論の自治体への実装を進めた.
