近傍界の特性が異なる波源による頭部内ばく露特性への影響を評価するために,理想的な電磁波放射波源が近傍に存在する場合の不均一組織の数値頭部モデル内電磁界レベルを有限差分時間領域シミュレーションにより計算した.頭部近傍に位置する電磁波放射波源の近傍界特性の違いが頭部内の電磁界分布に大きく影響することが示された.さらに,半波長ダイポールと微小電気ダイポールの場合,頭部内の電磁界,電流密度やSARは,入射電界よりもむしろ入射磁界に依存していることが示唆された.

近年,内容ベースの音楽検索における研究はますます多くの関心を引き付けている.適切な特徴セットを用いた類似検索アプローチにより,計算時間を減少させ検索速度を向上させることができる.本論文は音響ベースの音楽検索に対し以下の二点で貢献している:1.スペクトル特性を研究し,隣接しているフレームのスペクトル特徴が非常に関連していることを示している; 2.基本的な音響特性の分析に基づき,スペクトル相関関係に焦点を合わせた高速で効率的なQuery-by-Exampleによる音楽検索モデルを提案している.また本提案手法の評価としてシミュレーション結果におけるスペクトル相関関係(SC)閾値,データ格納量,計算時間の分析を行い,単旋律および多声音楽における有効性を確認した.Content based music retrieval is attracting more and more research interest. Suitable feature sets and similarity match approaches can help to reduce the tedious computation time and speed up the retrieval. This article mainly contributes in the two-fold to the current acoustic based music retrieval: 1. we report a study of the music spectral property and show that the spectral features of adjacent frames are highly correlated; 2. on the basic acoustic characteristics analysis we propose a fast and efficient Query-by-Example Music Retrieval modeling focused on spectral correlation. The extensive evaluations confirm the effectiveness of the proposed retrieval model for both monophonic and polyphonic music. The simulation results are analyzed with a theoretical approach that seeks to obtain the mathematical relation for our retrieval system parameters such as Spectral Correlation (SC) threshold, storage, and computation.

Organization image, defined as psychological reproduction of organization made by individual who is a member of or is involved in the organization, has been less examined in the past research. Instead, quite a few research dealing with "non-membership" image, which was built by non-member or non-involved person of the organization, have been conducted. It is inconsistent with the definition of image literally, which has an affinity for impression toward object. In this article, we developed a new scale to measure membership image of organization, tested its reliability and validity, and revealed item characteristics of the scale items using graded response model of Item Response Theory (IRT). Questionnaire survey was executed to 3,412 university, college, or junior college students who were informally promised their first job employment. Results of exploratory factor analysis showed that factor structure was consistent with the notion on which the scale was based, and discriminant validity of the scale and reliability of each subscale yielded as high. Results brought by IRT analyses also showed general tendencies that each value of item characteristics parameter emerged high in discriminant and relatively low in difficulty. Further discussion was made about (1) dimensionality of the scale and its overall feasibility; (2) psychodynamic account for organizational image; and (3) future direction to improve validity of the scale.

複数の関連性の無いプロジェクトをPMとして同時に管理する場合, 全てのプロジェクトに対してその進捗状況, リスク等にきめ細かく目を配る事は難しい。まして, 10件を超えるプロジェクトを同時に管理する事は現実的に大変困難である。このような複数のプロジェクトを効率的に管理し, 進捗状況・リスクを的確に把握し, 適切なプロジェクトマネジメントを行うために, 現在実践しているプロジェクトマネジメント手法並びにその考慮点を示す。

情報社会の進展に伴い,安全な社会システムの構築が産官学において進められている.情報セキュリティ技術の国際標準化活動は,安全な社会システムの構築にとって重要な役割をもつ.ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27/WG 2では,情報セキュリティのアルゴリズム及びプロトコルに関する国際標準化規格の策定を進めている.本報告書は,現在,ISO/IEC JTC 1/SC 27/WG 2で審議事項を解説すると共に,特に今年の5月に行われたロシア会議に関して報告する.

愛・地球博において、ブラザー工業(株)は、「モノづくり、ユメづくりBrother Output Fantasy」というテーマで出展を行った。その中のアトラクションのひとつ「ファンタジーシアター」では、当社NID開発部で開発中の網膜走査型ディスプレイ(RSD)と呼ばれる技術を使用している。RSDは、光束を走査して、網膜上に直接画像を形成するディスプレイである。本稿では、この技術の高いポテンシャルについて言及する。

本稿では、多数の自律行動するCGキャラクタで構成される群集を効率的に管理する手法を提案する。木構造を用いてキャラクタを階層管理することで、キャラクタの行動決定に必要な情報を簡単に取捨選択できるようにする。これにより、キャラクタの行動を計算する時間を大幅に短縮できる、さらに映像表現能力を高めることも可能である。実験システムを通して、取り扱うキャラクタの数と演算時間を線形の関係にできること、および群れの疎密を調整できるなど表現力を高めることができることを確認した。This paper proposes a new method for managing computer-generated crowds of autonomous CG characters. We employ the tree structure to manage the crowds, which makes it possible to select the required sets of information efficiently. We can reduce the amount of time to generate locomotion of the characters and get capability to represent more sophisticated crowds' movement.

我々は,データベース機能を完全に備え持つバーチャルリアリティ(VR)システムの実現を目指し,VRシステム群のバックエンドにデータベースサーバを連動させたシステム,仮想世界データベースシステム(Virtual World Database system :VWDB)の設計と実装を進めている.VWDBでは,仮想世界で行われる操作をトランザクションとして処理し,リアルタイムに仮想世界を管理する.このようなVWDBの機能は, 一つの仮想世界を複数ユーザでアクセスする仮想共同作業環境で最大限に活用することが出来る.そこで,本稿ではVWDB上に構築した共同作業環境について述べる.まず,VRクライアントによる仮想世界オブジェクトのアクセスをトランザクションとして管理するためのVWDBトランザクションを導入した.さらに,クライアントアプリケーションにゴーストオブジェクトという概念を導入することにより,一貫性及びリアルタイム性を持ったインタラクションを行うことが出来る.To provide a virtual work environment for cooperative work support, the VWDB is designed and implemented based on the network virtual reality system architecture. The VWDB is different from the traditional network virtual reality system in that it supports a full-scale database function, i.e. not only queries but also update requests are accepted. In order to realize the database function in the VWDB, the VWDB transactions are introduced. It is shown that the VWDB transactions are different from the traditional transactions in that the VWDB continuous transactions need to relax both the transaction model and the ACID property of transactions. Since the VWDB integrates a number of front-end virtual reality systems and a back-end database system via a high-speed network, a novel synchronization mechanism to make the state of the virtual world of the VWDB clients and the state of the back-end database system consistent is also investigated based on the transaction concept.

グラフのマッチング問題は一般に計算量が膨大であるが,問題固有の属性情報などを用いて効率的な探索を実現できる可能性がある.本研究では,グラフマッチング問題が入力2グラフから生成される積グラフの最大クリークを抽出する問題へ還元できることに着目し,その効率化のために2つの属性情報利用アルゴリズムを考案した.1つ目はクリーク抽出の探索過程で属性情報を用いて探索領域を削減する方法,2つ目は積グラフの生成時に属性情報を用いて積グラフの規模自体を抑制する方法である.これらを計算機実験によって比較検証した結果,双方共に有効であるが,特に後者の有効性が顕著であることを確認した.Graph matching problem has a very high computational complexity. But we can reduce it by exploiting domain-specific information such as object's attributes. In this research, where we solve the graph matching problem by reducing it into a maximum clique problem in a product graph generated from the two input graphs, we propose two algorithms, both exploiting attribute information. One is the method of decreasing the search space by using attribute information in the process of maximum clique search. The other is the method of decreasing the size of the product graph by using attribute information during the product graph generation. Through experiments we showed that, although both are effective, the latter dominates the former.

単一の端末に複数の通信インタフェースを接続し, 複数経路を利用するマルチホーミング通信環境においては, 往路と復路で異なる経路を利用すれば, より効率的な情報通信が可能となる場合がある. これを可能とするためには, 片方向の遅延を考慮して適切なインタフェースを選択する必要がある. しかしながら, 通信経路の負荷が時間帯, 通信量などによって変動することや, 往路遅延と復路遅延を簡単には分離できないことなどから, 正確な片方向遅延を直接求めることは一般的には困難である. 本論文では, 複数のパターンの往復概遅延の組から片方向の概遅延差を簡便に求め, これに基づいて経路を選択する方式を提案する. 本方式は, 通信相手との時刻同期, 測定のための制御パケットが不要で, ネットワーク層に依存しないため拡張性があることなどの特徴をもつ. また, 提案方式をICMPで計算機上に実装し, 種々のマルチホーミング通信環境で実験評価する. その結果から片方向経路選択が可能であり, 提案方式が有効であることを示す.

検索要求の表現と検索対象の表現が乖離している場合,適切に情報を絞り込むことが難しい.そこで,本稿では,情報を絞り込まず,長い検索結果リストを,大雑把に飛ばし読みしつつも,必要な情報を見逃さないような検索結果の表示方法を提案する.FAQを事例として評価した結果,飛ばし読みの方略をとり,本方式を高く評価する層,しない層,飛ばし読みができず,並び順を弁別できない層に被験者を層別できた.また,本方式を高く評価する層は,検索要求の表現と検索対象の表現が乖離している場合に,アルファベット順の表示方式では必要な情報を見逃す確率が高いが,本方式では大雑把に飛ばし読みをしつつも,必要な情報を見逃す確率が低いことが分かった.
