本稿は、ビョーク・グズムンスドッティル(Bjork Gudmundsdottir)のアルバム「ヴェスパタイン」(Vespertine)で聞く非楽器音、たとえば氷の割れる音、雪上を踏む音等の、小さな音量の非楽器音を、ビョークがアルバムで使用する事を発見する動機と、プログラマーの助力について、の2点を中心にビョークの音楽創作姿勢の1つを提示している。さらに、ジョン・ケージ(John Cage)の非楽器音に対する姿勢にも触れている。現在、ヒーリング・ミュージックなどで非楽器音使用は常識となっているが、今後、ラップトップ等の活用と共に、ポピュラー音楽や現代音楽で、非楽器音をどのように扱うか--、音楽創作素材の1つとして、まだまだ無視出来ない分野である。

優秀な学生、より上を目指す学生をさらに高いレベルに引き上げる目的で立ち上げたデザインチーム DESIGN SOIL は、教員と学生がともにデザイナーとして参加し、質の高い展示会への出展を軸に活動している。DESIGN SOIL では、参加学生に学生としてではなくプロのデザイナーとして作品を発表し、展示会に臨むことを要求している。2011年度は、家具産業が抱える輸送コストの問題に取り組むべく、「SOUVENIR.機内持ち込みができるパッケージサイズの家具、インテリアエレメント.」をテーマとして作品制作を行い、Salone Satellite 2011 やTIDE EXHIBITION 2011 などの最高峰の選抜展に出展を果たした。展示会では、多くの批評、賞賛を得ることができた。多数の先鋭的な雑誌媒体などに掲載されたのも、純粋に作品が評価されたということであり、大きな成果である。最高峰の展示会への出展を目標としているため、参加学生たちの作品の質は概ね向上した。展示会への参加を通して、大学のカリキュラムだけでは経験を積むことが難しい、展示会でのプレゼンテーションの仕方、取り組む姿勢を目の当たりにし、意識改革ができたことは非常に重要な成果である。次年度以降も活動を継続し、教育の方法論の確立を目指したい。"DESIGN SOIL" is a design team which has launched with the aim of raising talented or ambitious students to higher level. The selected students and young teachers participate as a designer to it and the activities is based on exhibiting in high-quality exhibitions. We require the students to make a design and participate in exhibitions as not just a student, but a professional designer.We developed theme of "SOUVENIR . furniture or interior elements which could be dismantled and stored in a package within the hand-luggage size limit allowed by airlines .", and we have participated in top-level exhibitions 'Salone Satellite 2011' and 'TIDE EXHIBITION 2011'.

This paper aims to clarify the diversity of open courtyards in faubourg Saint-Antoine area in Paris, by focusing on spatial composition and by analyzing the exterior space arrangement and the connection with the street and with the buildings. Firstly, the arrangement patterns are shown by analyzing the arrangement of the compositional units articulated by their surrounding buildings. Secondly, the connection patterns are described by analyzing the distributive role of the courtyard and the form of its connection with the street. Finally, by considering both of these patterns, 10 types of spatial compositions appear which show the diversity of the open courtyards. Then, comparing these types reveals their structural characteristics.

まちの将来像を考え、それを実現するための整備方針を考えようとする際、まず必要となるのは、その地域の特性を把握することである。一般には、地形や歴史、社会統計、空間形態、現地観察といった様々な観点にもとづく調査分析を組み合わせて、地域の特性を読み解く作業が行われるが、実際に有効な解読手法は、目的や対象とする地域によって異なってくると考えられる。そこで本研究では、地域特性の把握手法についてより具体的に考察するため、ひとつのケーススタディとして、神戸市内のある住宅地を対象とした地域特性の解読作業を行う。対象地は、1960年代を中心として開発が行われ、現在多くの建物が更新時期を迎え、改修や建替えが必要となっているところである。ひと通りの解読作業の後、得られた成果と調査分析の過程を振り返ることで、のぞましい把握手法のあり方について考察する。結果としては、一般的な方法だけでなく、調査中に見いだされる地域特有の事象に関する調査や分析を柔軟に組み入れることが、有意義な成果を得る上で重要であることが明らかになった。

This study is intended to clarify the architect's vocabulary of Facade design in works of Kiyosi Seike focusing on the relationship between the proportion of windows, fenestration and the external form of elevation. Facades are defined by the composition of sites and buildings, and the expression of windows. The relationship between the proportions is analyzed on the similarity and the repetition of window form and division of window. As the result of classification, 10 types of proportional schemes of elevation are identified, and moreover by analyzing, these schemes are classified into 4 types of facade design. Analyzing the relationship between the date of completion and the proportional schemes, it is clarified that facade design is changed from the totality of proportion to the partiality and the synthesis by the expression of beams and columns.

コンピューティングデバイスやネットワークリソースが遍在する環境,積極的に通信のエンドポイントを切り替えていくサービスモビリティが望まれる.サービスモビリティを実現するためには,通信を安全に切りることが必須となる.筆者らは,サービス移動をセキュアに行うための機構として,端末固有情報に依存しない通信インタフェースを提供するセッションレイヤモビリティサポートを用い,これにKey-insulated公開鍵暗号方式を適用することによって端末に依存しない通信の移動を実現しようと考えた.Key-insulated公開鍵暗号方式は,秘密鍵を安全でないデバイス上で利用することを考え,ステージに分けて秘密鍵が管理されているため,端末に依存しない認証処理を可能とする.本方式では,1つのセッションに1つのKey-insulated公開鍵を割り当て,ユーザの移動にステージを対応付けることにより,Key-insulated公開鍵のセッションレイヤモビリティサポートへの適用を実現している.In the environment where the computing devices and access links are ubiquity it is desired to switch the resources according to our context (Service mobility). In order to realize service mobility, security consideration is indispensable. First, we use session layer mobility support which provides an interface independent of the lower layer details and enhance it to realize secure service migration using Key-insulated public-key cryptosystems. Key-insulated cryptosystems have developed for using the private key on insecure device. Therefore, they use the private key refreshed at discrete time periods and realize terminal independent public-key cryptosystems. We enable the secure service migration using the key-insulated private key corredpondent to every migration.

本研究は,ニューヨーク マンハッタン島を研究対象地として,都市的な文脈から高層建築のあり方を捉え直すことを目的とする.研究方法は,マンハッタンにおける高層建築61事例を選定し,そのボリュームの形態や表層の特徴を整理することにより, 4 つの形態のパターンを得た.さらに, これらのパターンを地図上にプロットし,高層建築の形態とその建設された地域との関係性を明らかにした.最後に,複数の高層建築が形態や表層の操作により,一体的でまとまりのある空間が作り出されている事例を検証することで,その構成を明らかにしている.

In this article an attempt is made to examine the features and essence of the following three types of music : Tonal music, Blues music, and Shamisen music. Basically, Eastern music and Western music are very different from each other. Western tonal music primarily has a harmonic pitch and the fundamental chords are always fixed, and evenly tempered. For example, the tonic chord I (A-Major key) is always determined by Concert pitch A 440 : the number of vibrations in the sound. 0n the other hand, the tone at the center of Eastern Shamisen music is free-floating, with freer uses of pitches. The first issue I focus on in this paper is the tonal music, especially of the late stage. I will discuss the fundamental chord and harmonic pitch of Wagner's Tristan und Isolde and Schoenberg's Verklaerte Nacht. I will also examine the Mode music of Olivier Messiuen and his floating pitches, as well as the Bluesy tonal music of George Gershwin, specifically Rhapsody in Blue and An American in Paris and their harmonic pitches. The second issue focused on is Blues Music : blue tonality (Bluesy harmonic pitch) exemplified in Dizzy Gillespie's Blue 'N' Boogie or the chord changes in Charlie Parker's works. Finally, I will discuss the uniqueness of Shamisen music and its tonal center such as Hon-Choshi, Ni-Agari and San-Sagari. My discussion and examination are meant to search for ideas aimed at creating new fresh music for the 21st century. I believe that an equal treatment of Western and Eastern music, and their distinctive notions of tone techniques, will play a key role in the creation of a new type of music.

本論文はインターネットを通して提供される様々なサービスに対し,統一的な認証認可の仕組みを実現する汎用認証認可基盤ヤマタノオロチを提案する.汎用の認証認可基盤には"マルチドメイン環境で多様な認証方式をサポートすること","サービスによらないアクセス制御を実現すること","基盤の負荷を少なくしてスケーラビリティを確保すること"の3つが要求事項としてあげられる.本論文で提案するヤマタノオロチはこれらの要求事項を満たすような認証と認可の機能を提供するシステムである.AAAプロトコルのDiameterと認証フレームワークのEAPを利用することで,ユーザ情報の一元化とマルチドメイン認証を可能とした.またKerberosやXACMLを参考にしたチケットシステムを設計し,サービスによらないアクセス制御とスケーラビリティの確保を実現した.これらの設計に基づいて実装したシステムが複数のインターネットサービスにおいて正しく動作することを検証し,認証および認可の処理時間も実用上問題ない時間で処理が完了することも確認した.This paper proposes Yamata-no-Orochi, an authentication and authorization infrastructure for Internet Services. On the authentication and authorization infrastructure, service providers must authenticate users and authorize them by checking their privilege information. And the users obtain personalized services as specified by their privileges. A future authentication and authorization infrastructure should focus on "multi-domain extensible authentication", "service independent access control", and "high scalability". For multi-domain extensible authentication, Yamata-no-Orochi uses Diameter base protocol and Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP). For service independent access control and high scalability, Yamata-no-Orochi introduces a ticket mechanism inspired to the Kerberos procedure and the XACML policy treatment. The evaluation results showed that all the authentication and authorization processes worked correctly and the processing time was short enough for practical use.
