In this paper we examine on the historical significances of relevant costing. The relevant costing advocated by Charles T. Horngren and George H. Sorter was proposed to intervening a controversy between direct costing and absorption costing in external reporting (the direct costing controversy). At the same time the relevant costers refined the direct costing from the viewpoint of managerial decision-making, they tried to be constistent with traditional accounting systems and the framework of historical costs. Therefore, though they named relevant costing a third approach, it was resulted in a compromise. However, the relevant costing contributed to systematize by relevant cost concept a cost analysis for special decision problems.

小中校の歴史教科書・教師用指導書・学習参考書などの大半は、「国風文化」の発生・発達を遣唐使の停廃とリンクさせて叙述している。これはこんにちの歴史学界の水準から大きく乖離している。そこで、教科書等の分析とあわせて、遣唐使と「国風文化」に関する先学の研究成果を踏まえ、「国風文化」の授業における留意点を示したい。

The purpose of this study was to develop a self-report instrument of mood states consists of eight factors based on a three-dimensional model. The three-dimensional model consisted of energy, tension, and hedonic tone. Eight factors were defined to be influenced by three dimensions; energy, tension, and hedonic tone. The Three-Dimensional Checklist of Affect (3DCLA) was administered under four conditions: after doing relaxation training, after watching an amusing video, after taking a test, and after attending a lecture. An instrument called the 3DCLA with 7 subscales was developed. The reliability and the validity of each scale were investigated. Results have shown that the subscales are highly internally consistent and factors valid.

埼玉、東京、神奈川で里神楽を演じている一家相伝の神楽社中はその家数こそ減っているが、依然として神楽芸を今日まで家族と弟子筋が力を合わせて継承している。彼らは求めに応じて神社祭礼の場で神事の一環として巫女舞や神前舞を拝殿で奉納すると同時に神楽殿では神賑わいの法楽芸能として、神能形式の里神楽を奉納している。本稿では、社中神楽の「舞の系譜」について相模流里神楽を伝承する垣澤社中(神奈川県厚木市酒井)を対象に調査を行ない、舞と舞地を中心とする記述を試みた。里神楽の誕生以前に形成されたと推測する神前舞の①舞地、②採り物、③神楽囃子の曲目選択のありようが神能的な里神楽形成に一定程度の影響を与えた、という作業仮説を用意して、神前舞と里神楽の各演目(座)に配置されている舞とその舞地について検討し、相互の関係ぶりを明らかにした。

戦時中の雑誌の用語研究の一環として、天皇関連の敬語使用の実態を報告する。戦時中の皇室に関する敬語には特殊なものが多くあり、また、その使用については厳しい強制があった。戦後まもなくの敬語の見直しで、それらの特殊性が浮き彫りにされた。しかし、その使用された当時の実態に関する報告は少ない。今回の戦時中15年間の雑誌のグラビアの文章を通して明らかになったのは、尊敬にも謙譲にも二重三重の敬語が使われ、過剰・誇張と思われるほどの敬語使用が日常であったという事実である。

There are significant differences in social protection and policies towards immigrants, including refugees, in different countries. The acceptance of foreign migrant workers and refugees is severely limited in Japan, and asylum seekers in particular face great difficulties because of their exclusion from the Japanese social security system. Compared to Japan, The Swedish government is readily accepting of refugees/asylums seekers and has provided them with sufficient social protection and services, although Sweden's population is less than one -tenth of Japan's . Where do the differences come from? This study explores the differences in opinions about tolerance of immigrants in Japan and Sweden. Respondents were asked about social protection and the social security system's stance towards people from other countries. This study adopted five psychological scales focused on views on immigrants and multiculturalism as independent questions. Individuals in three groups (undergraduates, teachers, and welfare personnel) in Japan and Sweden were surveyed by questionnaire. Responses were obtained from a total of about 640 people. The study found that Swedes answered positively to all of the independent questions. Among the groups, welfare personnel and teachers in Japan were mostly negative. Therefore, a higher level of education has not encouraged tolerance of immigrants and support of multiculturalism in Japan. The results of multiple regression analysis suggested that 'a normative attitude toward helping ' was associated with tolerance in both countries. Results also indicated that gender was a determinant of tolerance in Japan while education and self-esteem were determinants of tolerance in Sweden.

全国連合小学校教員会の機関誌『教育報国』は1935(昭和10)年11月に創刊された.その創刊企画は,1935年5月の第12回総会で協議されたものの決定には至らず,その決定は代表委員会に委ねられ,同年6月の第17回代表委員会において決定されたものであった.その間の経緯をみると,第12回総会では当初から予定された議題ではなく追加議題として提案されたものであること,第17回代表委員会では発行が既定のこととして提案されていることなど,組織的な協議が簡略化されたままに事態が進行していることがわかる.『教育報国』創刊の推進者は,全国連合小学校教員会の役員ではないままに上沼久之丞会長の下で庶務を担当していた中澤留であった.そして『教育報国』の編集部は,主幹が役員ではないままの中澤,委員は全国連合小学校教員会の理事3 名という変則的な構成であった.『教育報国』創刊から半年後の1936年5月には,中澤が全国連合小学校教員会の会長に就任するということとなる.中澤は,会長就任後も引き続き『教育報国』の主幹の座にあった.「教育報国」は,機関誌名であるとともに,戦時下における全国連合小学校教員会の活動の旗印となっていくこととなった.

江戸時代には寺社参詣を目的とする代参講が各地で盛んに結成された.本稿では,そうした代参講による参詣地の一つであった三峰山(武蔵国秩父郡)への信仰について,その関東平野への展開を,とくに武蔵国東部に焦点をあてながら検討した.武蔵国東部では,江戸時代に新田開発の進展がみられ,村落部の三峰信仰は農業に関わる願意をもっていた.しかし,時期が下るにつれて,むしろ火防・盗賊除けといった都市的な願意が表面に出てくるようになった.この理由として,街道沿いの宿場町などが三峰信仰の拠点となり,そこから都市的な信仰が村落部へも浸透していったことがあげられる.また,三峰講の組織形態を他講と比較すると,当該の村や町の地縁との関わりの密接度において中間的な性格を示していた.このように,三峰信仰は都市・村落両面の性格をあわせもちながら,武蔵国東部など関東平野へ展開していった.

現在人間性が強調されながらも、他方で非人間化、人間の束縛が増大している。人間性を生かすはずのものが、制度や組織や集団化によって非人間化、非情化が行われつつある。その中でホスピタリティが現在多く取り上げられるようになった。本稿では、福祉サービスにおいてどのようにホスピタリティの理念が活用されうるかを探るため、新約聖書の中に現れる「ホスピタリティ」を検討した。結果、「見知らぬ人のため」「無償で自分を投げ出す」「行動化」「自発性」「徹底的に一人の人間と向き合う」の5つのキーワードが抽出された。現在の福祉サービスはともすると、効率性を追求して、マニュアル化して人間をかけがえのないものとして認識するという本質を見失う危険性がある。上記のホスピタリティの原点に目を向けることが、それを戒める契機となれば幸いである。

The beginning of modernization of Japan in history is uncertain although we may consider remarkable the introduction of western culture made by Mr Yukichi Fukuzawa who identified such technology as steam power, telecommunication, printing etc was the essence. Those are actually brought in Yokohama by the black ship when Commodore M.C. Perry exchanged Kanagawa Treaty of 1854 as the result of the expedition to Japan. The opening of two ports of Shimoda and Hakodate under Kanagawa Treaty is the output from the input of President Fillmore's letter to Emperor of Japan. Both of documents are two pages only which we could access easily today through internet. However, we have certain difficulty in reality if we try to understand what the black ship intended to aim through the expedition to Japan. This brief note is to approach to this basic inquiry in different ways from the various studies and attempts to emphasize the pioneer role for steamship in the Pacific Ocean.

El Sistema, or “the system,” is an orchestra movement financially supported by the government of Venezuela. The movement has garnered praise for the education and musical training it provides, and it has also garnered praise for protecting children who live in dangerous areas and for the music education programs it conducts in correctional facilities. The current study evaluates how joining an orchestra and playing classical music corrects the behavior of juvenile delinquents and adult offenders in prison. Findings indicate that rigorous training, cooperation, and responsibility foster self-esteem, teamwork, and social skills. Moreover, public performances and applause from friends and family encourage confidence and pride. These benefits facilitate a subsequent return to and reintegration into the community. These findings suggest that correctional education requires affirming aspects as well as rehabilitative aspects, such as encouraging reflection and/or restitution.

In order to clarify how children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) process speech, the current study recorded event-related potentials (ERPs) during active and passive oddball tasks and this study examined how information is processed in the brains of those children. The latency of P1s ("s" means the response to a shift in pitch) at Cz to a shift in the auditory pitch of the vowel /e/ changed significantly in children with ASD depending on the magnitude of the shift. Children with ASD had a briefer latency with a 6% shift in pitch which typically developed (TD) children did not. The latency of P1s was significantly briefer during the active task than during the passive task in TD children but not in children with ASD. These results suggest the possibility that children with ASD have a system of bottom-up processing of dominant sounds and that they have difficulty with top-down processing when perceiving sound.本研究では,自閉症スペクトラム(以下ASD)児の聴覚特性を明らかにするために,受動および能動オドボール課題の下でERPを記録し,彼らの脳の情報処理過程を検討した。母音/e/の音高変化に対するCzのP1s潜時 (ここで"s"は音高変化への応答であることを示す) は,ASD児においては3%変化よりも6%変化で短縮するというように音高変化の程度によって有意に変化した。TD児ではそのようなことはなかった。他方,同じP1s潜時はTD児では受動課題よりも能動課題で有意に短かった。しかしASD児ではそれが見られなかった。これらの結果はASD児がボトムアップ優位な音処理システムを持っており,聴知覚におけるトップダウンプロセスに困難を持つ可能性があることを示唆する

本稿は,1970年前後にみられた「生きがい論ブーム」について論じられてきたその歴史的経緯や要因について検討を行うと共に、「生きがい論ブーム」が始まったとされる時期に先行して生じた出来事を追うことによって、なぜ、生きがいが注目されるようになったかを推測することを行った。その結果、前者については、幾つかの事実誤認が逢ったと思われることを示し、後者については、生きがいが注目されることに影響のあった可能性のある出来事を4点指摘し、その関係性についても推測した。

This paper analyses productivity and competitive starategy of the telecommunication industry in Japan and U. S. In section 1, I analyse and compare the productivity of NTT, TEPCO, SONY, and NINTENDO. I adopt labor, capital and total factor productivity analysis for that purpose using NIKKEI financial data. Further, I show the outline of divisional income statement of NTT in 1992, as NTT has showed it separately between long term distance and local phone division for the first time. In section 2, I consider the competitive strategy of the telecommunication industry of U. S. , because it has passed almost 10 years after the breakup of ATT and the evaluation on success or failure of the breakup is discussed actively both on theoretical and empirical basis in U. S. I think this analysis is usefull to consider the breakup problems of NTT in 1995.

大学生における睡眠を含めた生活習慣が睡眠の質と量,自己肯定感に及ぼす影響を,睡眠時脳波測定を用いて検討した.大学生48 名から得られたデータでは,朝型であるほど自己肯定感が高く,また睡眠の質が良いほど自己肯定感が高いという有意な相関関係が得られた.また,朝型であるほど睡眠の質も良いという相関関係も観察された.さらに,8 名における睡眠時脳波解析をしたところ,REM睡眠含有量が相対的に高い被験者は,睡眠時間も長く,入眠までの時間も短く,大脳皮質覚醒の回数も少なく,全体として睡眠効率が高い傾向が見られ,自己肯定感も高かった.睡眠が不良である被験者ではアルバイトなどで生活習慣が不規則であったことより,大学生においては自律的に生活習慣を改善する努力をすることが睡眠の質と自己肯定感の上昇に必要であることが考察された.

本研究は障害児の保護者に対し、ストレスと養育態度、子どもの行動に対する認知、ソーシャルサポートの関連を、定型発達児の保護者と比較調査し、その結果を踏まえた効果的な支援方法を検討することを目的とする。保護者(母親)103名に対する質問紙調査に対する相関分析の結果、ストレスと有意な負の相関が認められた要因は、障害児の保護者については応答的・統制的な養育態度とソーシャルサポートであり、定型発達児の保護者については統制的な養育態度であった。また回帰分析の結果、ストレスに有意な負の影響力を持っていたのは、障害児の保護者についてはソーシャルサポートであり、定型発達児の保護者については統制的な養育態度であった。これらの結果により、応答的な養育態度や適切なソーシャルサポートが獲得できるよう支援することが、障害児の保護者のストレス緩和に有効であることが示唆された。
