This paper aims to examine how the politics of Jean Decoux would affect urban space and architecture in Indochina, regarding public works projects undertaken in his rule.Inaugurated as the Governor-general of Indochina after Vichy regime was established in the metropole, Decoux had to take up colonial governance, countering the stealing Japanese military power.He advocated encouraging of French presence and conciliation of the indigene to protect French interests in Indochina.In his governance, every efforts taken place to develop the land was propagandized as benefit given by the metropole, especially the public works were took new meaning of a political tools to conciliate the indigene as they were tangible results of the “French efforts”.Beside the government established traffic systems such as roads and canals to promote the development of rural area, a considerable number of new institutions were mainly installed in the city to accommodate the Decoux's policy of conciliation of the indigenous elites.These institutions were in the most cases designed in the Modernism style so that they altered the cityscape, which was followed his taste.Decoux, following his respectful forerunner Lyautey, former Governor-general of Morocco, intended to empower urban planning in Indochina so that he established the responsible division for this work under his direct control in the Government-General office.The office, named Central committee for the urban planning, drew the plans of principal cities in Indochina including Saigon or Hanoi.The exposition of Saigon held in 1942 had the meaning of experimental land for urban planning.All pavilions were designed in modernized architectural style exhibiting modernity of Decoux's rule.The plan imposed on Dalat, highland city originally inaugurated as a recreational place, showed the ambitious thought to develop the city as the new basement of the federation.The newly developing zone was to be named as “Jean Decoux City” after the Governer-general.Due to restructuring in the governing institution and the reinforcement of concerned division taken by his leadership, urban planning was flourished in Indochina in 1940s.It was the time when a belief that a single talent could design a whole city was widely accepted.The complicity between politician and planner was resulted in the pile of the drawn plans, which remarks the character of the politics in Indochina in this period.

ノード間に複数の物理的なリンクが張られた状況において,それらを仮想的な1本のリンクとして扱う技術としてリンクアグリゲーションがIEEE 802.3adで標準化されている. IEEE 802.3adではフレームの順序が変動しないようにするために,各コネクションは1つのリンクを選択して伝送することを規定している.しかし,各コネクションが使用するリンクを複数のリンクから選択する方法が詳細には規定されていない.本稿では,複数のリンクの帯域利用効率を向上させるために,コネクションが使用するリンクをトラフィック状態に応じて動的に振り分ける方式を提案する.コネクションのリンク変更による対象コネクションのスループットの減少を防ぐため,提案方式は,リンク変更回数を少なくすること,コネクション間のリンク変更回数を均等にすることを特徴とする.また提案方式の帯域利用効率およびリンク変更回数について,シミュレーションにより評価する.

本研究では,ウェブ構造の空間的・時間的モデル構築のために,ドメインレベルでの,ウェブ構造の統計的解析を行った.その結果,従来より指摘されているスケールフリーネットワークの他に,機械的リンク生成によって生成された,少なくとも2つの統計性の大きく異なるタイプのネットワークが存在することがわかった.また,時間的発展モデルに関しては,スケールフリー性を満たすac.jpドメインでは,ログスケールでネットワークの直径が大きくなるが,局所的な性質であるクラスタ率は大きく変化しないことが明らかになった.We analyze statistical properties of the structure of World Wide Web (WWW) in order to construct a spatial and temporal model for domain-level WWW. We find that there are at least two types of network structure largely different from the scale-free network due to an effect of the semi-automatically generated web pages. Also, we demonstrate that the WWW structure in ac.jp domain, which is well modeled by the preferential attachment, still satisfies the small world property robust against the growth of the domain.

This investigation was carried out to determine the appearance of variants in virulence by pairing-inoculation of 2 different pathogenic isolates (races 047 and 303) of rice blast fungus, Pyricularia oryzae Cavara, on both agar media and rice leaves. The mycelium-joining method on media, and the methods of the punch-inoculation of mixed spore suspension and the pairing-inoculation on leaves using the above 2 parent isolates, induced to arise some variants having virulence different from that of the parent isolates. These variants were divided into 2 groups ; one contained the isolates (races 337, 317, 313, 137 and 037) that newly acquired the strong pathogenicity for 2 rice varieties, Kanto 51 and Tsuyuake, to which the parent isolates were non-pathogenic, and the other contained the isolates (race 347) that had both pathogenicity of the parent isolates. On the other hand, no variants in virulence appeared from the parent isolates. The race 337 isolate arised in both experiments on agar media and rice leaves. In addition, the variants were divided into 3 groups by the colony type and the color of culture on potato decoction agar medium. Thus, it was suggested that the variants in this experiment might be resulted from the anastomosis of the parent isolates.

日本海で漁獲されるマアジTrachurus japonicusの多くは東シナ海で生まれ、対馬海峡を通って日本海に来遊する。本研究はその移入経路を明らかにする目的で行った。調査は、加入前のマアジの分布、および対馬暖流との関係を調べるために3隻の調査船によって中層トロールネットを用いて2002年5月下旬~6月上旬に実施した。中層トロール試験では、実施した48回の曳網中、42回の曳網(最大474個体、平均38.2個体)でマアジを採集した。各調査点で採集したマアジの平均尾叉長は28.3~54.2mm(平均40.2mm)であり、これまでの飼育個体の成長記録を基に4月から5月上旬に生まれたと判断した。沿岸分枝流域で加入前のマアジを多く採集したが、沖合分枝流域ではほとんど採集できなかった。この結果は多くのマアジは加入前に対馬暖流の沿岸分枝から日本海に来遊することを示している。

本稿では,観光動態情報の獲得を意図したGPSログデータマイニング法を提案する.本研究においては,近年の個人型観光へのシフトに伴い利用が急増しているレンタカーによる観光活動において,GPSにより収集されたログデータから観光動態情報として活用可能な個人行動情報の抽出を行う.現在,GPSはSAの除去が実施され,高精度での位置測位が可能である.しかしながら,GPSの単独測位においては電離層の影響,大気の揺らぎ,マルチパスの影響により誤差が生じる.更には,GPS受信機の状態による記録エラー,遮蔽物による測位不能などを避けられないのが現状である.提案手法は,これらの状況に対してロバストであり,GPSログデータから適切に個人行動情報を抽出することが可能である.また,北海道観光を行った旅行者から収集したGPSログを用い提案手法の有効性の検証を行う.In this paper, we propose a GPS log data mining method for acquisition of tourism information. Recently, the number of tourists which utilize rent-a-car has extremely increased according to shift of tourism type from group tour to personal tour. Therefore, in this research, we perform the extraction of personal behavior information which is effective for tourism information from GPS log data in rent-a-car tour. Currently, the position detection with high accuracy can be performed by using GPS because SA which leads to decrease of accuracy has been removed. However, when GPS is independently used, detection error and impossibility frequently occur under influence of electrolytic dissociation, atmosphere condition, GPS receiver condition and so on. The proposed method is robust against such situations and can extract the accurate personal behavior information from the GPS log data with error. We confirm the effectiveness of proposed method through the experiments using GPS log data collected from tourists in Hokkaido.

計算機内部の浮動小数点数の表現はパソコンやワークステーションを中心にIEEE規格が定着し、この規格のFPUが普及期に入っている。次々に発表されるマシンはIEEE規格を採用しており、ここしばらくはIEEE規格の時代が続きそうである。IEEE規格の浮動小数点数は、指数部が若干長くなったものの、長さが一定であることには変わりなく、いくつかの問題ではオーバーフローやアンダーフローが起こりうる。このことを解消するため松井、伊理の方式や浜田の方式が提案されている。これらの指数部と仮数部の境界可変型の浮動小数点数はソフトウェアで実現すると実用的な速度にならず、ハードウェアの実現が必要不可欠である。これらの方式が普及するかどうかは、次世代の規格に取り上げられるかどうかにかかっていると言えよう。そこで、現行のハードウェアを前提として、ソフトウェアでオーバフローやアンダーフローのない実用的な計算環境を実現するにはどうしたら良いかについて考察し、以下に述べるような効率の良い実現をみた。この報告では前回より次の点が新しい。(1)プログラムの改良による高速化がなされたこと。(2)入出力や定数設定や比較など非数への完全対応が取られていること。(3)IEEE規格でないマシン上でも動作するように非数の演算表を持たせたこと。(4)新しい浮動小数点数を含む式が書けるようにデータ抽象化機能のあるC++への対応部分を作成し、速度の点を考慮して初等関数等の中はC版で、一般のプログラムはC++版で書くことにした。
