図書館では館種を問わずいろいろな展示会が行われているが,大学図書館における展示会に関する現状分析や事例報告はあまり多くはない。そこで本稿では,我が国の大学図書館における展示会活動の現状について考察し,ついで筑波大学附属図書館の平成18年度企画展の特徴と今後の課題について報告する。

About 40% of all the elementary schools are linked to their neighboring parks in Sapporo city,and we think it is very effective to make use of the linking situation between elementary school and their neighboring park for the school education and local activities. The aim of this research is to analyze 1)the linking planning intention 2)characteristics of the linking patterns 3)the relation of the linking patterns and park usages. And we could find some characteristics of the linking situation as follws, 1)only Momijidai area have the linking planning intention in Sapporo. 2)the linking pattern varies in the scale of the urban park. 3)We find some relation of the linking patterns and usages between elementary schools and their neighboring parks.

Facial micro-expressions are fast and subtle facial motions that are considered as one of the most useful external signs for detecting hidden emotional changes in a person. However, they are not easy to detect and measure as they appear only for a short time, with small muscle contraction in the facial areas where salient features are not available. We propose a new computer vision method for detecting and measuring timing characteristics of facial micro-expressions. The core of this method is based on a descriptor that combines pre-processing masks, histograms and concatenation of spatial-temporal gradient vectors. Presented 3D gradient histogram descriptor is able to detect and measure the timing characteristics of the fast and subtle changes of the facial skin surface. This method is specifically designed for analysis of videos recorded using a hi-speed 200fps camera. Final classification of micro expressions is done by using a k-mean classifier and a voting procedure. The Facial Action Coding System was utilized to annotate the appearance and dynamics of the expressions in our new hi-speed micro-expressions video database. The efficiency of the proposed approach was validated using our new hi-speed video database.

近年、競争優位の源泉として、デザインの重要性が指摘されている。しかし、国内におけるデザイン活動に関する統計は十分ではなく、企業内部でのデザインマネジメントが製品開発活動とどのように関係しているのか、イノベーションへの影響等は不明であった。本報告書では、デザイン活動に関して構築したデータを用い、デザインとイノベーションの関係を分析した。 製品開発マネジメントにおいて、技術的機能・性能とデザインの間にトレードオフ関係がある時、デザインを優先する企業は19 社にすぎない。しかしこの企業が、技術的に新規性を持つ新製品の市場への投入と定義したプロダクト・イノベーションをもっとも高い割合で実現している。デザインを優先する企業においてプロダクト・イノベーションの実現率が高い理由は、デザインを重視した製品開発によって相当程度の技術的ブレークスルーが起こっているためと考えられる。 デザイン活動は、時にいとも簡単にイノベーションを生み出す。有田焼でできた焼酎の器の開発に関する事例では、わずか2 週間で新製品の基本設計が完了した。デザインを優先する製品開発は、提案されるデザイン案を実現するために、全く異なった発想による技術開発をせざるを得ないことがあり、これがブレークスルーに繋がる。デザインの持つ機能を効果的に引き出すためには、デザインの持つ特徴を理解した上で製品開発マネジメントを行う事が重要である。

Using molecular dynamics simulations, we study the slow dynamics of supercooled liquidsconfined in a random matrix of immobile obstacles. We study the dynamical crossover fromglass-like to Lorentz-gas-like behavior in terms of the density correlation function, the meansquare displacement, the nonlinear dynamic susceptibility, the non-Gaussian parameter, and thefragility. We find the cooperative and spatially heterogeneous dynamics to be suppressed as theobstacle density increases, leading to a more Arrhenius-like behavior in the temperaturedependence of the relaxation time. Our findings are qualitatively consistent with the results ofrecent experimental and numerical studies for various classes of spatially heterogeneoussystems. We also investigate the dependence of the dynamics of mobile particles on theprotocol used to generate the random matrix. A re-entrant transition from the arrested phase tothe liquid phase as the mobile particle density increases is observed for a class of protocols.This re-entrance is explained in terms of the distribution of the volume of the voids that areavailable to the mobile particles.
