シリンダ変形予測計算において,シリンダヘッドガスケットを構成するゴムコーティングや金属プレートの個々の材料特性を考慮可能なシリンダヘッドガスケットモデルを提案し,実測と検証を行った.その結果,提案モデルによって組み付け時のシリンダヘッドガスケット接触面の摩擦せん断力予測精度が向上することがわかった.

An autopsied patient who showed typical dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM)-like features and was pathologically diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is presented. The patient, a 60-year-old male at the time of death, died of intractable congestive heart failure. At autopsy the heart weighted 570g and showed marked left ventricular (LV) dilatation with a thin wall (ventricular septum/free wall of the LV=7mm/8mm). There was no evidence of significant stenosis in the extramural coronary arteries. Massive fibrosis was found in the middle and outer thirds of the ventricular septum and anterior wall of the LV (48% in the ventricular septum and 9% in the free wall of the LV). As myocytes were not present in the area with massive fibrosis, percent area of disarray was calculated excluding the area of massive fibrosis and found to be 30% in the ventricular septum. Based on the marked increase in the percent area of disarray, this case was diagnosed as HCM. The patient's 37-year-old son showed asymmetric septal hypertrophy on echocardiography (ventricular septum/posterior wall of the LV = 15mm / 11mm), marked LV hypertrophy on electrocardiography, and diffuse and marked disarray by endomyocardial biopsy. There were also LV dilatation (LV diastolic dimension =51 mm) and hypokinesis of the LV ; as a result, a diagnosis of HCM with features of DCM was made.

本研究では,実際のユーザの行動データを使って,各地域と観光要素の紐付けを行い,地域ごとの観光要素のクラスタを抽出することを目的とする.分析対象として,ニュースサイト「Yahoo!ニュース」を用いた.Yahoo!ニュースの閲覧者は,興味のある地域や娯楽のテーマをフォローすることで,そのテーマが紐付けられた記事を優先的に閲覧できる.そこで,ニュース閲覧者の興味対象のテーマと実際の記事に付与されているテーマを併用した,観光要素別の地域ランキングと地域別観光要素ランキングの作成手法を提案する.

γ線スペクトロメトリーを用いて,埼玉県内に流通しているハーブティーの放射能調査(<SUP>134</SUP>Cs,<SUP>137</SUP>Cs及び<SUP>40</SUP>K)を行った。<SUP>134</SUP>Csは49検体全て不検出であったが,<SUP>137</SUP>Csは10検体から検出され(2.1~240Bq/kg乾),それらは全てヨーロッパ産であった。また,<SUP>40</SUP>Kは全検体から99.9~1400Bq/kg乾検出された。<BR><SUP>137</SUP>Csについては,アイブライトでポーランド産とブルガリア産で大きく濃度が異なり,明らかな地域差が見られた。また今回の調査により,成人が1年間ハーブティーを1日1杯ずつ飲み続けたときの<SUP>137</SUP>Csの預託実効線量を求めると約1.0×10<SUP>-3</SUP>mSvとなり,通常のハーブティーの摂取においては,<SUP>137</SUP>Csの被ばく線量の寄与は非常に少ないものと考えられた。

本論では、江戸時代中期の絵師、橘守国(延宝七(一六七九)年―寛延元(一七四八)年)画作『絵本通宝志』(享保十四(一七二九)年刊、以下『通宝志』)を、「太公望図」を中心に分析することにより、守国が行った作画方法を明らかにし、守国作品の位置づけを試みる。今回の分析から、守国の作図は画題が持つ複数の定型表現を取り合わせて行われていると推定できた。これは、守国が狩野派に学んだ知識を絵師の需要に即して変容させたものであると考えるものである。近世中期以降、町絵師が増加することで、粉本に対する需要が増していた。狩野探幽の弟子である鶴澤探山に学んだ橘守国は、その需要に応じるように大坂で多くの絵手本を作成した。それらの絵手本は浮世絵師を含む町絵師に大きな影響を及ぼしたことで知られる。本論で扱う守国画作の『通宝志』は、柏原屋より刊行された絵手本である。様々な画題を紹介し、人物図や和漢の故事画題に関しては解説を付す形式をとる。自序に従えば、守国は、作画の際に先例となる図様を粉本として用いるべきだと考えており、粉本として『通宝志』を手掛けたという。この主張は典型的な粉本主義と同種のものだと言える一方で、図様の中には先例から逸脱したものが少なくない。特に、巻五上にはその傾向が強く表れる。巻五上は、狩野永徳以来宝永年間まで狩野派が描き続けてきた賢聖障子(けんじょうのそうじ)という画題を掲載している。賢聖障子とは、三二人の漢人物を描いた紫宸殿を飾る画題であり、守国が狩野派の粉本を目にしていたと推測される。しかし、守国が描く賢聖の図は狩野派画の賢聖障子資料と同一の構図ではない。粉本主義の主張と、描いた作品の独自性という矛盾に対し、本論では「太公望図」を中心として分析を行った。その結果、太公望図には、舶載の漢籍などに由来する肖像画的な系統と、故事を絵画化した系統の二系統が存在することが判明した。また、守国の作画は両者を取り入れていることが判明した。これは賢聖障子の画題紹介をすると同時に、絵師の需要に即した図を守国が作画したものであると推測する。このことから、『通宝志』巻五上から見る守国作品は、絵画領域において狩野派という雅文化の知識を、庶民文化へと普及させる一翼を担ったと考えられ、知識が庶民文化へ伝達される近世中期的特徴と一致するものである。

We review theoretical and computational approaches to ligand binding, one of the most relevant biomolecular events in a cell. Starting from a kinetic description of ligand binding, which is summarized by the use of the dissociation constant, we discuss simple docking simulations, the Molecular Mechanics/Poisson-Boltzmann Surface Area (Generalized Born Surface Area) approximation for binding free energy (intermediate level of approximation) , and more rigorous free energy profile calculations, which will be used in the near future for designing and discovering drugs.

Powdered granitic rocks were allowed to react with distilled water under various conditions to estimate the formation mechanism of natural waters from granitic area and to discuss on the factors influencing the chemical composition of the waters. The experimental results indicate that the chemical composition and pH of the waters are influenced by the kind of granitic rocks, the water/rock ratio and PCO2. The alkaline ground waters may result from the reactions of granitic rocks with the waters having low PCO2. The ground waters from granitic areas where CO2 from underground occurs abundantly are neutral or weak acidic, and their major species are Na+, Ca2+, HCO3-. The proportion of the components is nearly equal to that of the surface waters. The percolation time of ground waters in granitic areas was inferred to be relatively short because of the high permeability of water into granitic rocks and low content of dissolved species. Accordingly, the metastable alminosilicates produced during the incongruent dissolution of granitic rocks, may control the chemical composition and pH of the ground waters.
