ランタナ(シチヘンゲ)Lantana camara L.は南アメリカ原産のクマツヅラ科の低木で、観賞用に栽培されているが、逸出・野生化した個体による悪影響が世界各地で顕在化しており、IUCN(国際自然保護連合)の「世界の侵略的外来種ワースト100」に選定されている。日本では、要注意外来生物に選定され、沖縄や小笠原をはじめとする島嶼部、本州の一部地域での野生化が報告されているが、地域レベルでの分布の広がりに関する詳細な報告はない。本研究では、瀬戸内海沿岸域におけるランタナの野生化の実態を明らかにするとともに、分布の制限要因の一つと考えられる冬期の気温との関係を検討した。広島県の沿岸域と島嶼部を調査地域とし、GISで1km四方ごとに4000のメッシュに区切った。このうち、森林などランタナが植栽されていないと考えられるメッシュを除外して、約500のメッシュを抽出した。これらのメッシュごとに2010年5月から同年12月にかけて目視による調査を行った結果、100メッシュ、186ヶ所でランタナの生育を確認できた。このうちの47ヶ所は周囲の状況から逸出・野生化したものと判断された。従来の研究では、気温が頻繁に5℃を下回るところではランタナの生育は困難であるとされていたが、2011年1月は調査地域が大寒波に襲われ、ランタナが生育していたすべての地点で平均気温が5℃を大きく下回まわった。しかし、同年の7月から11月にかけて再調査したところ、ほとんどの個体の生存が確認され、ランタナの潜在的な生育可能温度域が従来の報告より広いことが示唆された。

論説はじめにI 従来の諸研究II ハリエットの影響をめぐる諸見解III アーサー・ヘルプス『労働の主張』とミルIV 「労働の主張」から『経済学原理』へV ハリエットの主張の異質性VI 結びに代えてミルの社会主義論における主張は、人類の最大幸福という目的(アート)の実現のため、公平なアソシエーションの実験を重ねながら、それと修正資本主義の改良とを比較しつつ選択していこうという比較体制論である。しかし、『経済学原理』第4 編第7 章にミルと違うハリエットの所説が混在しミルの見解として述べられているため、研究者のあいだに誤解が生じている。ミルを社会主義者や修正資本主義者として理解するとミルの思想的特質を失う恐れがある。J.S. Mill's views on socialism is a system theory with comparative method, which compares different systems of socialism and the reformation of revised capitalism to select the best one, while repeating fair experiments of association to aim at the goal of the gratest happiness of humans (art). Because Mill wrote Harriet Taylor's opinions, which different from his own view, in the seventh chapter of the fourth book of Principles of Political Economy, scholars are confused. If we regard Mill as a socialist or revised capitalist, we might overlook the characteristics of his thought.

エマルション化粧品は, 肌に水分を与える保湿効果と, 肌の水分を逃がさない閉塞効果の二つの基本的機能を有する。これらの効果は, エマルションの親水領域と親油領域の比に影響される。そのため, 両効果は拮抗した関係となり, 同時に高めることは困難であった。そこでわれわれは, ポリグリセリン系界面活性剤, セチルアルコール, ポリグリセロール (13) ポリオキシブチレン (14) ステアリルエーテルおよびD相乳化法を用いることにより, エマルション膜の親油領域に水を多く分散させ, その親水領域を強固にすることで, ポリオキシエチレン系界面活性剤を用いたものより保水効果と閉塞効果が優れたエマルションを開発した。またポリオキシエチレン系界面活性剤を用いたエマルションは, 塗布されるとエマルション粒子が消失するのに対して, 本エマルション膜は, 粒子の残存がレーザー顕微鏡により確認された。さらに1ヵ月間の連用により, 角層細胞のはがれやすさ, 角層細胞の並び方も改善されることが明らかとなった。

The epidermal permeability barrier appears to be regulated primarily by the lamellar arrangement of lipid bilayers between coneocytes of the stratum corneum and presents a significant barrier to the transdermal delivery of drugs. The aim of the present study was to investigate the effects of oleic acid on the ultrastructure of stratum corneum lipids in rat skin. Wistar rats were treated topically with 10% oleic acid/propylene glycol for 2 h, the structure of stratum corneum was examined by electron microscopy using osmium tetroxide or ruthenium tetroxide postfixation, and the epidermal barrier function was evaluated in a lanthanum tracer study. Ultrastructural examination revealed that there was a marked alteration in the stratum corneum and the tracer penetrated into the intercellular spaces of the stratum corneum after application of oleic acid. These results suggest that ruthenium tetroxide postfixation is a powerful tool for the study of the stratum corneum lipid structure. Oleic acid might increase the epidermal permeability through a mechanism involving the perturbation of stratum corneum lipid bilayers and lacunae formation to enhance transdermal drug delivery.

年1月のライブドア・ショック以降、下降トレンドが続き、流動性も低下して回復の兆しが見られなかった新興市場。7月27日には日経ジャスダック平均がダメ押しともいえる年初来安値をつけた。今年1月の水準からは、約60%の大暴落。半年間で2年半前の水準に戻ったことになる。さすがにこれは行き過ぎということか、8月に入って反発する銘柄もチラホラ見られるようになってきた。

野生動物への給餌が希少な種の保全策として行われる一方で,無秩序な餌付けによる人と野生動物の関係への悪影響も懸念されている。条例によって餌付けを禁止する自治体も増えつつあり、実態や市民意識の把握が必要である。本研究では、立地と背景の異なる自然公園と都市近郊林で,餌付けの実態と市民意識を明らかにし,その相違と今後の課題を考察する。 札幌市円山公園では,定期的に餌付けの実態を現地踏査し,6月と10月には意識調査用紙1,000部を配布し、549部の回答を得た(有効回答率54.9%)。知床国立公園では,7月と9月に計1,208部を配布し、492部の回答を得た(有効回答率40.7%)。 円山公園では,頻繁にリスや野鳥への餌付けが確認された。意識調査では,人と動物との距離は離れる程望ましく,餌付けへの対策を望む意見が多かった。餌付けへの態度で回答者を分類すると,餌付けに寛容な集団がおり,より近い距離を望み、他の回答者よりも餌付けへの対策を望む意見が少なかった。 今後、餌付けに何らかの対策を取る場合、餌付けに対し寛容なグループへの情報提供や教育の方法などを慎重に考慮する必要があると考えられた。

The German federal constitutional court says in its "communal decision law ruling (1979)" that it uses three measures for judging the validity of the legislature's prediction. But this theory, which is called a "three-step theory", has two obscure points. The first is how to divide these three measures' occasion of use. The second is how to interpret constitution in this theory. This article proposes to promote an understanding these two points. Part II analyses the contents of the "communal decision law ruling". What was fought in this ruling was the constitutionality of the law, which violates human rights moderately. The judge used mild measures in this ruling. Part III analyses two rulings quoted by the "communal decision law ruling". What was fought in the "pharmacist law ruling(1958)" was the constitutionality of the law, which violates human rights seriously. The judge used strict measures in this ruling. In the "basic treaty ruling(1973)", the constitutionality of the treaty, which did not violate human rights, was fought. In this ruling, extremely mild measures were used. Part IV analyses where these three rulings cross. These measures are used on the basis of the seriousness of the human rights violation("principle of proportionality"). The reason for this is that the court regards the function as "protection of human rights". So, behind this "three-step theory" is the way to interpret constitution, which attaches importance to the function of national facilities.
